Thai cuisines vary depending on the region, but in general Thai food is known for balancing sweet, salty, spicy, and sour flavors. It also features a generous helping of fresh herbs and coconut milk. This results in bold, complex, and often herbaceous dishes. Located on Second Avenue in Belltown, Bangrak Market is named after the most famous market in Bangkok, where we had our first dinner in Seattle. The reservation was easily made via their website. Upon arrival, it was pretty busy and felt like a market when one stepped inside thanks to the colorful streamers and decor. The decorations were so unique, especially the baskets used throughout the space, and the whole vibe instantly transports one to Thailand without actually being there. It has such an energetic and party-like vibe. The music felt like one's in a bar, and the atmosphere was super fun. My partner, his family, our friends, and I managed to get a big table for a party of 14. With so many menu options, one can order with confidence. For starters, some ordered the Fresh Garden Rolls (Tofu), Chicken Satay, and Kao Mun Gai. As the main meal, we ordered Tom Yum Nam Sai (Chicken), Pad Thai, Pad See Eww, Kao Pad, Kao Pad Supparos, and Gang Kari. The food was amazing, full of flavor, and authentic. Everything was beautifully presented and made with fresh ingredients. Portions were decent and the price reasonable. The service was excellent and super friendly. From the wait outside to our meal, this establishment was buzzing, packed with patrons having a great time, food flying out of the kitchen, and that fun, chaotic energy that tells one you're in the right place.

Came with a group of about 15 people initially we ordered to share as a group but all the food was so good. Everyone just ended up eating the entrées that they ordered. The crying tiger was not too spicy ordered with a side of rice, shrimp, vegetable, lettuce wraps also fresh with great peanut sauce. The decor and ambience is fun and lively, we celebrated a birthday there they brought out a sparkler on a dessert and came out and sang. Located in downtown, it was easily walkable to and from our location.

The noodles were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor. They do spicy on a scale through five, we opted for four out of five for the noodles, I thought we could've gone even one spice level higher. For the curry, we did three out of five, and definitely could've done a spice level higher. The spice scale is definitely catered toward people who like less spicy food, so rest assured three or four is still fairly mild in spice. The quantity of the curry was actually quite small, however, the presentation was beautiful. It was also delicious in taste. Ambience: The restaurant is very ethnic and beautifully decorated. It is a great date spot. It's very clean, and food came out quickly. Service: Our server was incredibly professional and very polite. He gave great suggestions. I really appreciated that he went out of his way and got the spice jars for us to adjust the spice level of our food. Something else that I always give credit for is that they pack up any leftover food that you have. Phenomenal service.

We got the chicken E-Jae House Noodles, with their homemade wide rice noodles and the Khao Soi Chiang Mai with chicken. Their homemade wide rice noodles were incredible. Soft and delicate and not overly sauced. I'm going to judge all future rice noodles against these. Will definitely be back for more of these fresh noodles! First off their take on Khao Soi is huge. It was enough noodles and sauce for two meals for me. It came with one chicken leg (enough for one meal). Make sure to grab a knife from the front counter to get the chicken off the bone. Their flavor profiles are different from other Thai places I've tried. I enjoyed it. We also got the small mango and sticky rice. The mango was perfectly ripe. The small was enough for two people after all those noodles. It has tall windows so the place is well lit and I enjoyed the colorful decor. You get a number when you order and they bring your food to the table.

I started with the crab rangoon, and it was a great appetizer. It had the perfect crunch on the outside, was creamy on the inside, and came with a delicious sweet and sour dipping sauce. For our entrées, we ordered the pad see ew and the pork belly with green beans. Both dishes were packed with flavor. The pad see ew had thick, chewy noodles with a great balance of vegetables and meat, making it both filling and satisfying. The standout, though, was the pork belly with green beans. It was absolutely incredible. We ordered it at spice level 3, and it definitely brought the heat. I was sweating by the end of the meal! The pork belly was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the green beans. If you're in the Capitol Hill area and craving some seriously delicious Thai food, definitely check this place out!

But the flavor is so tasty. 2) Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken and Prawns 4.5/5: My family loved this! Their favorite pineapple fried rice! 3) Battered Chicken Ginger Rice 4.5/5: Never had this before at a Thai restaurant! Some of the chicken pieces were a little TOO battered and crispy for my liking. The winter melon soup was so comforting and reminded me of Filipino tinola. 4) Tofu Phad See Ew 5/5: No other words except amazing!!! So flavorful, especially the fried tofu pieces and egg. Ugh I could eat this every day. 5) Mango sticky rice 5/5: Cannot go wrong with this. A must-get item if in season! Parking can be tricky in this area during peak times. The wait for a table can be really long, but there are things to do nearby while you wait. Also, the service is not amazing as the servers are super busy. You definitely have to try hard to wave someone down for more water or other requests. But the food is so good that it's worth coming even with subpar service.

I was able to get parking by the troll so we had a quick walk over. However, we went on a Thursday night around 7pm and there was already a waitlist of 20+ parties. We probably waited around an hour and 15 minutes. Since you are in Fremont, you can walk around to kill time and check out the cool shops nearby. The inside of Kin Len is decorated very well with lots of Thai decor and bright neon lights. Our server was super friendly and food came out fairly quickly. We've ordered the papaya salad, battered chicken in red curry, pad see ew, octopus carpaccio, pork belly with Chinese broccoli, and mango sticky rice with ice cream. - Papaya salad is classic - crunchy, sour, sweet, spicy, and so savory with the fish sauce. Decently spicy and a great fresh bite between dishes. - The battered chicken is probably the most popular dish on the table. Crispy, juicy chicken on top of creamy red curry. Just the perfect combination of textures and flavors. - Pad see ew is also classic. The medium was pretty spicy for us! I do wish it had some more of the charred flavorful bits on the noodles. Some of the noodles were in larger pieces and could use more flavor but still a very solid dish. - We were warned the octopus carpaccio was one of their spiciest dishes so we got the chili sauce on the side. Octopus was very tender and was a standout with the sweet, sour, spicy sauce. I actually felt like the pad see ew was spicier. - The pork belly with Chinese broccoli had good flavor, the pork belly had a satisfying crunch, and the broccoli had the nice bitterness that comes with gai lan that rounds out the dish. - The mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream was delish! It's one of my favorite desserts so you can never really go wrong. Two mango halves sliced with chewy sticky rice and sweet and salty coconut cream. We added coconut ice cream and it was yummy! Not a necessity but nice to have. This is one of our favorite restaurants so we'll always be back. Just prepare to wait some time and enjoy some great food!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
