There it is your "stuffed bagel" or shall I say half stuffed.
    Ziltoid The Coffee Snob C.

When a $250,000+ degree doesn't provide you the career and life that the establishment promised you, you then move out of Brooklyn to the Hudson Valley and open up some hipster, trendy shop. Yes, I am making all assumptions with that previous paragraph on this bagel place but it just screams failed privileged art degree whose family will try to turn this concept into a franchise but ultimately it will be a write off for a private equity firm. When you look at pictures that the business posts and you go on their various social medias, you will see a much different product than what you actually get. What you see is stuffed bagels that have evenly distributed fillings. They look delicious. But what you get when you actually go to the store are bagels with fillings on one side and the other side completely bare. In addition these stuff bagels are pre-made so there is no alteration. If you like mustard on your pastrami bagel or ketchup/hot sauce on your egg sandwich you're out of luck . I guess you could dip it into a your desired condiment but do you really want to dip an Egg bagel into a vat of ketchup? If you cut the bagel in half and put it on yourself, that's when you'll see all the filling is on one side and also cutting it in half sort of defeats the purpose of it being stuffed. They also have a location in Kingston I haven't been there but I might try it out of curiosity. This particular location seems to be the concept that they will try to sell to investors. They will use the traffic flow of the college across the street as some sort of indication of what a great product it is. "The kids just love it" I've been here twice so far and it is one person working the counter, making the coffee, heating up the bagels and serving everything. I hear people in the back but who knows if they are watching Wes Anderson movies back there or actually working. Overall it is a decent bagel with a good concept. Unfortunately it's an absolute terrible execution. With all that being said, I might invest because this type of nonsense and product would do great in airports.

Stopped in for a vegan stuffed bagel but they were out so we had to settle for just a regular bagel with vegan cream cheese. The bagels are delicious with lots of topping which I love. The vegan cream cheese was also great almost non-distinguishable from regular. Although I was very disappointed that I couldn't try the stuffed bagels what is good is that they make bagels fresh throughout the day, we just didn't have time to wait. Maybe next time. Also....super pricey so know that before you go. The people working there are very nice and friendly and it's clean and neat.

The staff was friendly and the service was perfect. Our stuffed Bacon/sausage, egg and cheese everything bagels were heavenly. So delicious. My brother grabbed two bags of the frozen ones to take home. We ate outside in the beautiful Autumn weather. Perfect meal.

Adorable! The decor is so cute and the concept is very unique. Get there early because they sell out of things. We went at noon and the bacon egg cheese were sold out. Everyone was friendly and the bagels are really good! Best of luck to this new location (the original is in Woodstock)

LOCATION: on the tiniest Main Street I know Adorable…read more"downtown " Wappingers Falls, NY in the beautiful Hudson Valley, just 12 minutes from Metro North's New Hamburg station on the Hudson River ( green) line from Grand Central Station, NYC. I mentioned this cute little town because it's just one of the little niches along the Hudson river that makes a perfect little day trip. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: really quaint storefront, and first impression.Enter through the cafe door which also functions as a retail shop for handmade objects like soaps, etc. The gifts have an upscale vibe-worth a trip back. We had about 15 minutes to kill before attending a Yelp event across The Street so we opted to take the chill off by purchasing a hot beverage at Norma's. The staff is pretty laid-back, friendly, but laid-back. If you're in a hurry, I'm not sure if this would work. The hot and cold beverages are very straightforward and you can get some vegan options here. There were two behind the counter, but I felt they were a little engaged in their personal banter and we're not that attentive. Not a real sense of urgency or purpose. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but once they did give us their full attention, we let them know that we were waiting for an event across the street and didn't have a lot of time. They asked us if we'd like to sit down with our beverage and we opted to do so since it was pretty cold outside. We ordered two hot chocolate And two homemade biscuits. They gave us a table number stanchion for the table and let us know they would be bringing it to us. We did not need to wait. We took the three steps down to the main dining area, where we were pleasantly surprised that they were having a live event - in this case it was a storytelling event. There was a table available for the two of us so we sat down and quickly realized that the table was so off-balance that it post a potential safety hazard. When I placed my hot chocolate down and rested my wrist, the entire table tilted forward toward me. This is an easy thing to fix, but my guess is that it's been this way for a really long time. That's unfortunate. All that aside, the room was really cozy and had a lot of character - lots of two top and four top tables to provide a very intimate setting with each one having a good view of the small stage Minutes went by and there was no biscuit delivered. More minutes went by and we began to wonder if they had forgotten. I guess is that they weren't making the biscuits from scratch so most likely they did forget. Since we had already paid for everything with a pretty generous tip, we waited a a few more minutes. Time ran out when we noticed that the event attendees were lining up across the street. That's something we could see from the really great big windows that faced Main Street. Reluctantly, my sister and I got up from the table and headed to the counter where we had made the order. We let them know that we needed to go and asked if the biscuits were ready. They seemed perplexed at first and then a lightbulb moment. Yes. I suspect they did forget the order. I wouldn't bother so much but two biscuits and two hot chocolates. It was about $20 plus tip so when they recognized that the biscuits were still missing, they asked if we would like to take them to go. The lack of awareness was disappointing because they were clearly not busy with anything else A minute or two later, they emerged from the kitchen with a small bag, presumably containing the two biscuits. Service was definitely lacking, particularly for what is a bit of a higher priced venue. Maybe we caught them on an off night but my sense is that laid back attitude is built in to the business model. Would I return to Norma's? I'm not sure. The hot chocolate was good, not from a mix, but would it bring me back? I'll let you know.

Everyone behind the counter greets you with genuine warmth during the morning rush. The pastries are always fresh and worth the wait, but the real star of the show? Their wonderfully large cup of coffee. It's the kind that wakes you up, comforts you, and pairs perfectly with anything you grab from the bakery case. Whether you're stopping by before work or treating yourself on a slow weekend morning, Kelly's delivers every time. Great service, great coffee, and a neighborhood feel that makes you want to return again and again.

Last Wed April 22, 2026, I was introduced to Kelly's through the CIA. I visited with friends…read morebetween events at FDR and enjoyed sandwiches, pastries, and bread to take home. It was a memorable experience, with excellent staff and service. However, my visit today was very disappointing. I stopped in to pick up sunflower bread, as previously recommended. At the counter, a staff member told me only garlic-onion bread was available today and that sunflower bread would be available tomorrow. I agreed to take the garlic-onion loaf and asked if it could be sliced, also mentioning that I planned to return the next day for sunflower bread. As I was completing the purchase, another staff member passing by stated that the bread was in fact sunflower. The first employee then changed course and asked how many I wanted. I requested one loaf and again asked if it could be sliced. He responded that they do not slice bread. I explained that during my visit last Wed., the breads have been sliced for us, and I also shared that I am a senior with a disability, specifically severe arthritis in both hands, which makes slicing difficult. A second staff member then interjected, stating that the bread should not have been sliced for me previously and that only sourdough is sliced, and only after 10 a.m. This interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and discouraged. The contrast between the welcoming, accommodating staff I encountered last Wednesday and today's experience was striking. Unfortunately, this visit significantly impacted my impression of Kelly's.
