Stopped here after landing at DIA at 7am. Large but tasteless portions. We ordered an omelet and pancakes. Nothing special and slow service. I regret not getting breakfast at the airport. Looks like there are a few good options: Chef Jimmy's Bistro & Spirits, Woody Creek and Root Down. read more

I'm a sucker for a good diner. So when I found one just down the road from the school I work at, I was delighted. We went here as a science department the other day and all enjoyed our first time there. The food choices are vast for a diner. They go beyond the simple burger, hot dog, and fries and offer a variety of hot sandwiches in addition to some Mexican fair and breakfast anytime. I ordered the grilled cheese and was able to order avocado to come on it for very little extra. The toast was well buttered and the sandwich was quite good. I ordered it with a side of onion rings - which were HUGE, but it only came with three. I kind of felt like I got the shaft on some delicious onion rings. A colleague ordered a chocolate milkshake, and when he let the rest of us have a taste, we all ordered an extra one for the table. It was delicious! The service was friendly and prompt. I'll definitely be back when I want a break from the normal chain food establishments that are so common in the GVR area. read more

First....GREAT FOOD! The menu is unique, diner style for sure, pancakes are the best I've ever tasted, light fluffy and perfect! They serve food all day, catering to the hotel community and this place is on the way to DIA. One of my favorite breakfast dishes is the corn muffin pancakes, smothered with yummy green chili, two eggs and hash browns....so unique and yummy! The omelets are amazing too! Don't pass by....give this place a try! Now for why I am giving 4 stars and not 5....customer service and rude wait staff! Takes some time to get coffee and water to the table and there are a couple of waitresses that need to be fired... For example the waitress was in the middle of taking my order, but was having an argument with another waitress, to continue the fight in mid order, she left our table and continued the fight in the kitchen (everyone could hear), it took quite awhile to get our order taken after that, I almost left, but I was hungry and figured I would YELP the concern. read more

Not sure about dinner but for breakfast the food is great. Had the 8 oz chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and toast and it was tasty for sure. The waitress was very sweet. She was busting her butt to get everyone taken care of and apologized when she thought it took too long (which it didn't ). Coffee never empty. Thanks Rita. Will be back ever time I'm in Aurora which is a few times a year or more. read more

Being threatened to pay or they would call the police for the food I never got! Absolute worst service and on duty management! After ordering Steak and eggs, I requested the meat to either be cooked more or replaced. While waiting for the plate to be brought back, I was asked to move to a different seat to make room for a big party. The plate was never returned to me at the new seat and the waitress said she forgot and threw it away. I was FORCED TO PAY OR THEY WOULD CALL THE POLICE because I had eaten some of the egg and toast before they took my plate to be fixed. The person that would be collecting the money said next time come in with an adult if I have a problem, may I add I am female 26 years old! They then charged my credit card for someone else's order. Then charged mine and did not refund the first. After calling I was offered $5 off for the steak I did not even get! To make it even worse, the male "adult" customer next to me was offered a discount to move but I wasn't even after questioning that. What kind of treatment do they think they can get away with thinking they can force a younger person to pay for something they didn't even get? read more

We come here at least every other weekend for breakfast. It's become a tradition in our house. The great: - the breakfast portions are huge. - the meals are always consistent; never had a bad choice. - the time from order to table is fast - on the way to the airport for those that need a nice meal - the wait staff Patriciest, Earl, Jordan, Paul and Jen seem to be extremely attentive and always check up on us. - they have a full bar and happy hours The good: - even when it's busy, I've never had a long wait - coffee is tasty - atmosphere is cliché but cute. They just redid all the booths and chairs. The 'would improve': - the temperatures in the dining area can vary a bit. - the bathrooms, while never 'dirty', are really showing some age. The food and service here were fantastic! The smell of BBQ as we walked up made our mouth water. We had breakfast and bloody Mary's the 1st time we were here and the 2nd time had a great dinner. The wife loved the meatloaf and I had the Pork chops which were some of the best I have ever had at any restaurant, much less a diner! Great food and times Moonlight! read more

I was particularly happy that they let me split my two eggs into two different styles, one scrambled and one sunny-side up, without any additional charge. Little touches like that really make a difference and show that the staff are willing to accommodate requests when possible. The food itself was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, and flavorful. It hit that classic diner comfort-food vibe, which is exactly what I was craving. We've heard our neighbors rave about Moonlight Diner, and somehow we had never made it over here ourselves! One morning before heading to Denver International Airport for a flight, we had some extra time and decided it was finally time to give it a try. We ended up sitting at the bar, which was convenient since we didn't need to wait long. It was definitely a busy spot with lots of people coming and going, so I can see that it's a popular neighborhood breakfast stop, especially being so close to the airport. I found the bar, which is separate from the diner. Same menu, no kids. They had 12 drafts, which included many local breweries. The bartender, and I think owner, was very knowledgeable about all the beers and the menu. I went with the Reuben with homemade potato chips that were freshly made. Very friendly and fun staff. Plates are very filling and comparably priced to other diners with less tasty food. Loving the heat and spices that were put in my skillet that gave it so much flavor. This is easy. If you are stuck at the Denver airport on business or pleasure go here to eat (full bar, too). It's excellent! At happy hour, I had a huge plate of a half order of nachos (with meat) for $3.50!! And it was great. Everything else looked real good and it was filled with locals. read more

The ambiance is easily the highlight. The restaurant is attractive, comfortable, and feels like it should set the stage for a memorable meal. Unfortunately, once the food arrived, that expectation faded pretty quickly. Everything was simply underwhelming. Nothing was necessarily terrible, but at these prices, you expect dishes that feel thoughtful, flavorful, and worth remembering. Instead, we left wondering what exactly we were paying a premium for. The service didn't help. Our waiter was overbearing rather than attentive, and surprisingly wasn't very knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu. Good service should enhance a meal without dominating it, and unfortunately that balance was missing. Copper Table has the setting and atmosphere to be something special, but great ambiance can only carry a restaurant so far. For the prices being charged, both the food and service need to rise to the same level. Our experience simply didn't.

We went for a late brunch knowing it would be busy on Mother's Day weekend, and were prepared to wait, but had been wanting to give it a try. As soon as we walked in we were ignored by the hostess for an unknown reason, however another girl saw and came over to seat us... great! We get it, it's busy so thought okay awesome we can get right in. She was the best part of our entire experience, probably the only person we encountered who seemed genuinely helpful and aware. We sat outside and the table was filthy. Okay... no biggie it can be cleaned. The server eventually comes over and takes our drink order. When she brings them they spill on the already dirty table, so I asked for some extra napkins and a wet towel to wipe the table if they have it... to which she replied "It'll evaporate." Then a few minutes later another girl came over and tossed two wet-naps on the table and walked away. Did not say a word... okay. Remember: I kindly asked for napkins lol and a wet towel *if possible*. At this point we were looking around for hidden cameras, surely this was a prank, right?????? We waited to see if maybe things could turn around... but it was downhill from the start. We ended up asking for the check for the drinks we had gotten to continue our day on a better note elsewhere. The waitress (who I'm not naming out of grace) had a horrible attitude and just walked away. She brought our check but no one came to take the payment... fine, we were finishing our drinks anyway. Oh! And one of the glasses we got for our drinks was dirty so we were just sharing one cup :) After some time I saw the manager who was cleaning up a table and seemed to wish he could avoid coming over and let him know what happened, he said "he'll take care of it". Then disappeared never to be seen again. So we waited and finally flagged down another person to take the payment so we could head out, we also let her know our experience was shocking to which she was defensive instead of interested. We finally left after an hour of this and went to a local fav and had a wonderful rest of our day-- they even wiped the table without us asking when we got there! We're super chill and I used to work in the restaurant business, so we tend to extend a lot of grace, but the service here was truly unacceptable and jarring.
