I'm perplexed by the negative reviews here. We've been here numerous times and have never had a bad experience. We did have to wait a little longer for a takeout order last week because they were filling a HUGE to-go order that had come in before ours. The portions are large, always enough to save some for the next day's lunch. I'm a big fan of the hot & sour soup. read more

My husband and I just left after eating lunch at Moon Wok. The manager brought my husband the wrong order without checking the number on our table. My husband didn't realize he had the wrong order until our correct order had been brought. The manager then reprimanded us for not returning the incorrect order that another customer had ordered. This definitely was the manager's fault, yet he scolded us. We will not be going back to Moon Wok again. I had thought about taking a group of ladies there for lunch, but will not subject them to such an attitude. The hostess was so very nice and apologized for the treatment we had received. I felt sorry for her. read more

This was my second time here and this place is definitely a good place to eat and a great value. I had the chicken and shrimp and it was freaking huge! Priced at 6.25 it is a deal. Plus it comes a soup of your choice. There are several other Asian cuisine places in the area but this one would be worth checking out. read more

My first time here they messed up my order. The food was good so I gave them a 2ND chance and it's still good. Been here several times now and they haven't mess up my order since. read more

If I could use 0 stars I would. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and there was a bug in my food! Wish I would have taken a picture. Server took food to back where the kitchen laughed. Then owner came out and didn't even apologize!!! Then only returned money back for the food, he didn't even return for the drink. Will NEVER come back, avoid this place at all costs! So GROSS read more

My wife and I have eaten here a number of times. I've only gone at lunch, so I'm only familiar with the lunch service. You go to the counter, place your order and pay. They give you a little stand with a number, and when your food is ready they bring it to your table. The food is always good, the service is ample even for the lunch specials, and it's always hot and fresh. You fill your own glasses at a drink machine, so the only real service is bringing your food to your table. It's on 1382, right in the middle of Cedar Hills main shopping area. The parking lot serves a lot of businesses, including a CiCi's pizza, and parking can sometimes be a bit limited, especially on weekends when people are taking their kids to CiCi's. read more

Not your average Chinese food delivery. They are outstanding in every way.

The food here is top notch but I had a bad customer service experience where I was left on hold for over 19 minutes and when I arrive there the person who answers the phones was just sitting down making the packets for soy/duck sauce, plastic ware and fortune cookies. I showed her my phone and told her that it is unacceptable not looking to get anything free just wanted them to get that part right. There excuse was they were super busy but there were maybe 10 people in there sitting down already with their food and like I said the girl that answers the phone wasn't too busy to where you should leave a customer on hold. Oh and to win me over they offered me a free egg roll after ordering $19 worth of food lol...gotta love it. Fix that part Moon Wok and this place will definitely be five stars. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would! First off let me say that I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS, but this was necessary. I ordered over $30 worth of food from this place one night. When the delivery came, I opened the sack and saw that my food was a mess! The food was so greasy it had destroyed the boxes containing it and once I tried to lift the box on top, all the food spilled out. I immediately called to report this and the owner claimed he would "give me a credit for my food" I had to throw the entire order away because it was inedible. I called back to receive my credit at a later date and they said there was no credit under my name! I will never order from this establishment again. The food is terrible and their customer service is even worse. Do yourself a favor, FIND ANOTHER CHINESE PLACE TO ORDER FROM. Trust me read more

I've been going to Moon Wok for years and always received good service and delicious food. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is some of the best around with large portions and a great value for under $9.00 read more

COMPLETE AND UTTER ASSHOLES!!! I HAD TO RATE THIS PLACE . MINUS THIS STAR!!! If it wasn't for my husband loving this place we could have save our money tonight. we have order three times in a row and they keep on forgetting our order to order correctly . our first order they bought me a two liter bottle of unopened soda halfway filled I was like what Tha. I called to speak to a supervisor not only was he rude he didn't want to compensate me for spending the money that we spent or at least discount on our next order. finally i got him to agree on our next order they will bring you a coke for free. So here we go again second order i called to speak to the supervisor to get our free coke at first acted like we never talked. we said forget we will order anyway and finally he at the end remembered us . he said do not worry i will bring it this time to you. Upon delivery the deliver forgot it again. And our Rice.Rice!!!! main important ingredient the rice. call I called the supervisor and I told him you forgot he said it was too late to come over and bring me my rice I said alright do you realize you forgot our coke and said you were going to reorder promise and now no rice .STRIKE two and a half - so a month later my husband was craving Chinese food.. I'll never order from this place.. So we called and the person who took my order read back my order and i asked for two dinner plates with egg rolls. we normally order is for egg rolls and when we order the delivery driver brought food and the whole meal was dryed like tree bark& there's no egg rolls so I called back and I asked us to speak to a supervisor again and I had to remind him for the last past 3 orders in a row they have screwed up our order Royally..yet argued with me because I demanded to have a refund the food and bring mack my money. supervisor or the owner of the f*** place was rude as hell . put me on hold on the phone. He forgot to click the mute button doesn't realize I'm can hear everything that is being said. so i listen to him, such a dumbass !!! I here someone tell him to tell us we suck these nuts! I cannot believe of this restaurant!!! Please do not support this restaurant !!!!these people they do not caure about a customer or your food. I told him I heard everything her blamed it was a customer and we could just not order from "us" again . that we his solutions.if I could I would back tonight and get your money back or I can come back tomorrow after me arguing with him for 30 minutes about how bad the service and the order was not to mention the food was dry . honestly I think that our food that they gave us tonight have been sitting there because it was hard . like .rocks this must have been sitting under lamps. Sadly I don't believe I feel like ever since I complain about the first two mistakes but they made it to deliberately mess up my order on purpose. not to mention the language I'm a customer and they have somebody speaking like that.. What type of restaurant . i hardly can image a restaurant allows customer to get on their store phone and to say ugly things like that to a customer. And tgen i am suppose to bring back everything in the morning .I'm going to go there in the morning so I'm going to bring my food back and I'm going to give me a piece of mind and I actually want to call the cops. F*** this place. f*** this supervisor and his crew. F*** delivery driver . and I hope they get shut down. for thinking that they can give old ass the food to people. PS excuse me customers reading on Yelp but this place is not worth it excuse my language don't waste your time don't waste your money and I hope they get shut down. sorry asses. No bitch these nuts .... read more

Food is okay. Servers are fine. Manager/Owner is prejudice. Yes, I said it. We've dined in at least 3 times and have witnessed the manager greeting customers at the counter and sitting to eat that were "white". Any "black" customers whether dining in or carry out have been continuously ignored. It's baffling how in this day and age, racism is so prevalent in businesses and restaurants. If you don't believe me, then dine in and see for your self. read more

For a recent girls night we decided to order in rather than go out to a restaurant. My cousin insisted on Moon Wok, as it's close to her house and she says it's one of her favorites. We looked at a menu she had at home and called in our order. The driver took about 30-45 minutes to arrive with our food and we were able to split our order and pay individually. The food wasn't the best I've ever tasted but the ease of ordering, the delivery, and splitting up methods of payment was helpful. read more

Interesting Asian restaurant where you order when you walk in and sit and wait for your food. Ordered some sushi and sweet and sour shrimp. The portions are huge; we had to get doggy bags! Sushi was pretty fresh and decent for the price. Drink and condiment area could have been cleaned up a bit; was messy and unorganized. I'd go back here though. read more

I really like this place and the service is great for a quick Chinese place. During the summer I eat here about once a week with friends and we always have a good experience. read more

This place is gross. I felt unsure of what I was eating. Not worth the money. I'm just saying something cause apparently my review has to be a story book. All I can say is don't go here. read more

Food is dry, bland and soggy, the staff is inattentive. I placed an order to go and they charge you for the chips that you are entitled to when eating there, in addition to not giving you the soup that you are also paying for. I will not go back. read more

I use to come here alot before I realized it was roach infested! No joke. My family and I had skipped lunch that morning so about lunch time we were really Hungry and decided to stop at Moon Wok about 5 mins before it opened. So we waited untill opening time came and the doors were still locked after 15mins of time opening. I looked inside and noticed one of the employees cleaning off the side walls.(didn't know what he was doing) They finally open the door we walked in and ordered. Sat down, our food arrived amd took a few bites when I noticed ROACHES BY MY SONS HEAD AGAINST THE WALL!! Not 1,2 or 3 but more. I alerted the owner as he came with a kitchen rag which was used prior to kill roaches and just laughed amd said"Yall good customers they came to say hi" I was disgusted and told my family not to eat their food and left!Even my 9yr old was disgusted.Never Again! read more

I would have given this place 0 stars if I could, the cashier lady was nice but the owner ( old men with glasses) was extremely rude and unprofessional I would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN this was my first and last time EVER going here. After I received my food and was not satisfied I went on for a refund and when I explained why I didn't like the food he refunded me cash and slammed the money on the counter and told me to get out, NEVER EAT HERE. read more

Good Chinese fast food. Very tasty and fast delivery. Delivery guy very friendly. Great portions for price

Went to Moon Wok for dinner. I unfortunately recieved food poisoning from their egg drop soup. NEVER going there again.

I like the chicken fried rice, but anything with beef is a NO. The beef is very rubbery and doesn't seems so right. Had a wonton soup and it tasted so FISHY..... Will I go back yes? but only for chicken fried rice! read more

Love this place. Always has my food hot and ready for pick up. They always have great portions! Keep up the good work.

Their servings are huge and the food it good. They deliver 3.5 Miles away and that's rare for any delivery service.

I hadn't been to Moon Wok in a while and while before I thought it was good Chinese and cheap prices I cannot say that now. The prices are still decent but the food is horrible!!! I don't know what happened ,could be new owners I don't know... the food is not the same and not good at all. To make it worse there a/c must not work because it was hotter than hell and the fountain machines don't work either. Beware before you go. Cashier was nice and I gave it one star because Yelp didn't allow me to do a half star. read more

I'm in my 50s, and have eaten a lot of Chinese food. I recently tried Moon Wok for the first time, bought three entrees for my family, and not one of them was good. I cannot ever remember being this disappointed at a restaurant. The entrees were huge, enough for three adults or two teens ;-) but the food was so off, so "not what you expect" for each dish, both flavor and texture, that we ate enough to not be hungry and threw the rest away. The day we throw away food in my house is very rare, and my teens are not picky, that's how disappointing this was! read more

Food was taste less. Needs to be clean. There were flies everywhere and crickets on the floor.

I got food poisoning. Had it for supper, woke up with severe stomach cramps and diarrhea, called the manager and he refused to even offer me a refund. Should have gone to the ER and sent him the bill!!! NEVER EAT HERE unless you're willing to be miserable for 12-18 hrs afterwards. HORRIBLE customer service, very poor response. I even told him I would have to leave him negative review(s) and he was like "Oh well!!" No concern for making other people sick... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! read more

Sadly I'm here & I NEVERR do this but I got food poison eating here tonight and by the looks of the chicken & broccoli it didn't look too good, fresh if I must say. Long story short I had severe cramps, bad diarrhea & it turned into vomiting. I called to complain & he claimed no one got sick today which was really rude. Never eating there AGAIN!!! The owner wouldn't even give me a refund so I should just go to the ER & send him bill... read more

I usually enjoy this place.. but I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN... not after tonight. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken with the sauce on the side... at about 9:15. The food comes at about 9:50... No sauce at all... I didn't even get mad... my husband called.. asked for the sauce.. the man said it was coming... we waited... 10:15.. husband calls back.. the man repeats our address and says the man should be there in a moment... I called at 10:24. Then, he said that the guy should be at my home in 2 minutes because he left at least 10 minutes ago... I waited 15 minutes... and called back... No answer... I called again... No answer.. og.. probably because THEY WENT HOOOME!!! This man told me that the sauce was on the way several times! I lied!! How can you eat sweet a d sour chicken with NO sauce??? I had been working all night and was starving.. well.. I'M STILL STARVING because the food never arrived!!! I paid $25 for this and combination fried rice. This "business" tool my MONEY and my business for granted! That's not right at all!! I was never rude.. never did anything to this person.. and he just lied and did not send the food! I used to love it here... #NEVERagain! read more

OK, I hate to do this because there is almost no passable chinese in the SW suburbs but...enough is enough. Last nite got delivery from here & it just wasnt tasting right so I decided to put most of the Mu Shu pork in the fridge till later. Tonite I tried again & encountered some weird crunchy substance in it, egshells? overdone rice? WTF! I could never actually find what it was so I dumped the whole thing. Last time I got a piece of heavy wire like a box staple in the Broccoli w/ garlic sauce which skeeved me out that time. Plus I have never liked the smell of the place when you go in, something not quite rancid but very close. So sorry, I am adding this to the no way, never again list. read more
