As part of my quest to find the best classic boba milk tea, I stumbled upon this place purely from convenience and looking for something new. I read a review from a fellow yelper raving about the boba milk tea here and I just had to try it, and I'm really glad I did because they were absolutely spot on with the review! My friends got some of their other fruit tea options. Most of the ordering can be done at the kiosk like almost all places now, with plenty of seating inside and outside to hang out. There were two people in the back making all of the drinks. 5/5 Boba milk tea was one of the better ones out of other shops for sure. You had the nuttiness of the tea which isn't overpowering but creaminess that you crave from a milk tea. The sweetness didn't taste artificial either, and less sweet still had enough to enjoy. If you like the tea flavor more, just go down on the sweetness. Though I really felt like I got more caffeine here than at other tea places. 4.5/5 Mango Pomelo Sago was refreshing and solid. It wasn't overly sweet either and you got the freshness you would want from a mango drink. Perfect summer time drink! 4/5 Jumbo Fruit Tea is huge, they put a whole ass watermelon slice in it! It was definitely huge, but most of the space was from the fruit which I'm not sure if you really taste or if it's more for show. But still a yummy refreshing drink where it highlights fruit more than the tea. Overall I see myself frequenting this place a lot more! I love boba milk tea that puts the creaminess first with the tea being a complement, so one of my favorite places now.

Still my favourite boba spot! Recently I've tried: Tropical passion - 5/5 Pink lychee iced tea - 5/5 (swapped the yogurt boba for regular boba) I usually get both of them at 75% sweet because they are otherwise too sweet.
Been wanting to try this tea shop for a while now since it's so close to my workplace! They offer a lot of different menu items such as tea, smoothies, and food. We tried their passion fruit and their matcha brûlée. Honestly both drinks were okay, the menu is a sort of repeat of all other boba shops around the idea so they didn't have anything distinguishing or new. The passion fruit did taste a bit too sweet even though we adjusted the sweetness, it tasted like they did use passion fruit jam or syrup while their matcha brûlée tasted a bit more watery and the matcha was very toned down. I'd definitely like to try their snacks next but would skip on the drinks.
this was a nice and refreshing drink after malatang. ordered the mango pomelo drink and it was really good. it was not too sweet at 50% and had the perfect amount of fruitiness. would recommend!
Been here twice! Not a super memorable boba place for me but the drinks are always good! I think the fruit teas are better here than the milk teas. Service you order on the kiosk but the workers are really nice, I accidentally ordered a hot tea instead of a hot milk tea which would be 75 cents extra. I offered to pay the difference to fix the drink after but they made the change for me without charging which was really nice of them. I got a roasted hot oolong tea, and another roasted oolong with sago and boba. Toppings here are good!! I would recommend. Drinks are sweet - I'm usually between 50-75% sweetness here and I ordered 75% but I should've gotten 50%. Tofu is good here too! Inside is cute but not that much seating -like 3 tables. It can get moderately busy. There's 2 claw machines
I wished they gave more toppings and honestly the special cup felt smaller than the regular cup. I liked the popcorn chicken and was crispy and hot when we got it.
Location wise, there's a good amount of parking. We were mostly here for the popcorn chicken, since one of our fav boba spots closed down that made the best. I def rate the chicken 9/10. Nice crispiness and spice. But I wish it was a little juicer. I do like that they have sides to dip as well at your disposal. The drinks were good ok. But I must say they are on the pricier side for boba and snacks. Would I come here often? Maybe not, but once in awhile.
Moomo Tea is tucked away in a small strip mall serving up yummy drinks and small snack food. With indoor and outdoor seating, fun streetwear inspired decor and floral pillow seats, the shop itself is a bit quirky. Mango Pomelo Sago served in a square drink container, is a deliciously smooth mango drink served with sago and pomelo bits. Super refreshing and sweet with a lovely texture. Sour Cream and Onion Fries were pretty straight forward, fries with a powdered flavoring. They also had other flavors to choose from as well. Great to share! Fried Calamari could use some sauce served along with it or possibly some herbs. These were a bit bland and texture wasn't that great. Food and drink came out relatively quickly. Definitely would stop in for their Mango Pomelo Sago if I were in the area. Parking can be a bit difficult in this plaza.
Final Thoughts: 4.00/5 It's a soft 4 star for me today. Came here in the late evening time for some boba and a meeting. Nothing too significant to note about this experience. Pretty simple. We came, got boba, and then had our meeting there. Food: Popcorn Chicken (Not pictured): 3.9/5 Their popcorn chicken is alright. The meat itself was very tender, which was nice. Flavor was just alright for me. There was some flavor from the seasoning, but it needed a little something else. Perhaps if we had some kind of a dipping sauce, it would've enhanced it just a little bit more. We decided on the highest spice level, but the spicy seemed pretty minute (subjective). I wished they had tossed the chili powder and mixed it a little more because some pieces were covered in the chili powder and others didn't have any. Taiyaki (Not pictured): 4.2/5 Delightful little snack to go with my tea. It comes with two pieces per order. This fish-shaped snack is filled with red bean. The outside is very crispy and has a nice shell on the outside, has some nice chew and bite on the inside, and pairs very nicely with the red bean filling on the inside. For the texture of the red bean, I felt that it was just a little dry on the sides. Perhaps this is to extend it's shelf life, but it was just slightly dry and sticking to all the sides of the fish versus being a full smooth filling on the inside. When I got to the middle, it was quite nice though. Something I like is that there are still full red beans on the inside versus just being a red bean puree on the inside. Something to note though is that you should eat it when it's hot or maybe reheat it if you do decide to bring it home. I brought a piece of it home and the exterior got a little bit hard and felt really oily afterwards. Delightful upon eating after we received it though. Drinks: Roasted Mountain Oolong: 4.0/5 Simple oolong tea drink for me today. The flavor is alright, but not as strong as I would like for it to be. My preference is for my tea to have a deeper flavor to it. Sweetness of this drink was to my liking. The tea flavor has this nice floral scent and taste to it, which I really liked. I like a very subtle sweetness to my teas, so I just got 25% sweetness today. This pairs nicely with the taiyaki because the taiyaki is sweeter. Definitely very refreshing for the summer weather. --------- Quality: Average Quality of this place seems alright. Things seem to be made fresh because we did wait a bit for the food to come out. For the red beans, I feel like this is homemade too because its not sugary sweet like the canned red bean paste. Also, the pieces of red beans inside of it gives it a very handmade feel. Some might not like those lumpy bits, but I personally prefer it. Gives it some nice texture. Price: Average boba shop The pricing for the items provided seem pretty average. For my cup of tea, it was $6. The pricing will be within a $6 to $8 range depending on what you get. Again, this is pretty standard for the cost of a boba or tea around the bay area. For the foods, they were Service: Simple gestures and interactions There were pretty limited interactions with them. They have two kiosks present with one being at the front of the counter and one larger one being located on the right side right when you get into the shop. We just order from there and then pick up the drinks and food whenever they call out the number. My one note is that they're nice enough to not kick us out even after we overstayed our visit a little bit. They did start cleaning up and putting things away and that was our sign to leave, but they never verbally asked us to leave. We definitely lost track of time for our meeting. Would not recommend taking advantage of this gesture, but we appreciate that they let us stay a few minutes past the closing time. Ambiance: Simple The interior is very simple. There is a counter taking up half of the space and then the remainder space is for the tables. They have bench seats and then some chairs. The tables are quite small, so not really made for a large crowd, but you can make it work. There are some tables inside and then some tables and seats outside too if you wanted to enjoy the breeze. Love their music choice today. It was just playing in the background and I like the places that just have the soft music playing. Very soothing and it doesn't disturb me with the volume. Location/Parking: Fair lot size The shop is located inside a little plaza with Big 5 Sporting Goods. There are quite a bit of parking spaces here, which is nice. This might also depend on the time. When I first got there, there were very limited spaces leftover. It would be one space leftover here and there. If you're willing to park a little farther, there really shouldn't be a big concern though.

OK is Sunnyvale the new Cupertino, because it's so unfair how they have all the good boba spots. Moomo is the new kid on the block. Sis heard about them and their famous mango drinks via IG, so had to check them out and support the boba monopoly in the South Bay. Their menu is varied and easy to navigate on contactless menu. Sis got their mango pomelo sago (added boba) and I had their King milk tea--perfect for the QQ texture boba lovers. Ours teas were perfectly brewed and honestly not too milky or too overpowering. Sis said the mango pom sago was so refreshing and tasty. Plus their special mango pom sago comes in their famous rectangular boxy cup, but it's plastic so not really re-usable. Sizing is standard, smaller than Sunright though. Parking is in a shared parking lot, and the shop itself is cute and homey. They have cute aesthetic lil seats indoors and like one outside. I can see school kids hanging out with friends, not so much a study spot. We are lucky to have Moomo, will def come back and try their diverse drinks. Hmm, maybe a fruit or cheese next time!
Moomo Tea is such a cute little spot! The drinks are delicious, and the food is surprisingly great for a tea shop. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient every time I stop by. My only wish is that they offered a bit more variety when it comes to sauces for the food -- a few extra options would make the experience even better. Overall, definitely a place worth visiting!

MOOMO is a small, clean boba tea and snack shop in Sunnyvale with minimal seating, and known for their mango pomelo sago drink that comes in a funny rectangle cup. They have a cute cat theme, a small claw machine, and plenty of parking outside in the big plaza. - MOOMO Mango Pomelo Sago with boba Compared to the older cube cups or even their normal cups, this seems like it holds less drink. It's a creamy mango drink topped with sago, fresh grapefruit, and mango chunks in a special cup. Even at half sweet, I thought it was pretty sweet, but at least it balanced out some tartness. The toppings are good and well distributed, the mangoes were ripe, and the grapefruit pulp added a nice fresh texture. As far as mango drinks go, I'm not too big of a fan, and I've had better and prefer ones mixed with coconut, which this is not. I don't regret trying it and really liked the soft, chewy boba. - Jumbo Fruit Tea with lychee coconut jelly It comes in a big 34oz cup, made with organic jasmine green tea, fresh pineapple jam, orange, lemon, lime, strawberry, and watermelon. At 100% sweetness, I perceived the tea despite it tasting like fruit punch. I like how the bigger cup accommodates for all the slices of fruit, though it's definitely priced accordingly. This is my second time visiting, and I already know it won't be my last. The first time, my coworker and I were just looking for a quick snack and drink, so we stopped by on a whim. I didn't expect much--until I took my first bite of the popcorn chicken. It was piping hot, perfectly seasoned, and so good that I've found myself craving it ever since. That's exactly why I came back. The portion size is generous--easily enough for two people to share. For my drink, I ordered the Japanese green tea with 50% sweetness and less ice. I'm pretty particular about sweetness levels, but this was spot-on. Smooth, refreshing, and balanced. Considering how pricey things have gotten lately, I think this spot offers great value for the quality. Delicious food, fair prices, and consistent execution. Highly recommend! read more

One of my favorite places for tropical drinks is Moomo tea, especially their irresistible mango pomelo sago drink and slushy! Here's a sip-by-sip breakdown: 1. Mango Pomelo Sago - Indulge in this creamy, handcrafted mango delight, bursting with fresh grapefruit, homemade mango chunks, and sago. It's a fruity, tantalizing treat! 2. Mango Coconut Slushy - Beat the heat with this fresh mango slushy enhanced with a silky coconut-dairy milk blend and topped with lychee jelly. A smooth, refreshing escape! 3. Jumbo Fruit Tea (34oz) - A giant, thirst-quenching mix of organic jasmine green tea swirled with handcrafted pineapple jam and loaded with slices of orange, lemon, lime, strawberry, and watermelon. They were so busy even in a weekday night, so it did take a while for the drinks to be ready. read more
A decent bay area boba spot but hard to contend as one of the best because there are just sooo many boba spots all around. I tried their famous Mango Pomelo drink here and it was super creamy, fruity, and rich! I enjoyed the real pomelo and mango chunks given. I also tried their avocado-mango smoothie but I honestly don't think the flavors meshed well, so that was a pass for me. Their fresh strawberry latte drink tasted like plain strawberry milk which I'm not mad at! Then there were the snacks! All were pretty good; i'll have to say the sesame chicken skewers were the best of them all. The chicken pieces tasted fresh and well-seasoned with tinges of sweet and salty. Next time I want to try their popcorn chicken because it smelled heavenly! The interior of the shop is super cute! Love their logo was well, and you can even play in their claw machine inside. Drinks are made pretty fast; minimal seating available in and outside. read more

Boba Milk Tea Judgment: A- dark, nutty assam tea that's not too strong cream is flavorful and plenty sweet but doesn't leave behind that sugary feel mix is well balanced and tea/cream bounce off each other harmoniously could def lower the sugar level without compromising the taste and balance I feel pog pearls filled to the top (^o^) nice, clean cup smells like cigarettes (cuz the smokers be smoking outside lol) no wait/turnaround $6.82 3/10/25 read more

Loved this place so much, made it back again in the same week when we were having a heat wave!! We opted for the mango pomelo sago and a jumbo fruit tea. You can always place your online order and pickup at the counter but they are very efficient with getting the orders ready on time. Inside is very clean and inviting with a few tables to dine inside. There are also a few tables outside. Both drinks were very tasty and delicious made just right!! The fruit tea had generous amount of fresh fruits as well as fruit juice in it. As I mentioned, we were already back once and will try it again soon!! read more
Their king milk tea is still just as good as I remember. I love the toppings they add especially the pudding. It's the perfect amount of milk to water ratio and the tea flavor is on point, not too strong not too weak. A huge plus point is they actually put less ice if you select less ice as the option as opposed to many other boba places in the bay area. The have plenty of seating options so it's a nice spot to hangout with your friends. This time I gave in to my cravings and ended up trying their popcorn chicken and crispy tofu for the first time. I went for the spicy option on both and it was indeed pretty spicy but still good. The crispy tofu wasn't breaded and fried so it wasn't oily at all. It was soft on the inside and the right amount of crispy on the outside. The popcorn chicken's flavor was good and had the right amount of crunch but the size of the pieces was a little too small so the bread to meat ratio felt off. read more

Service: you order on a screen when you enter. Drinks come out really fast. Ambiance: there are a small number of tables with pillows and there's lots of space but little seating. It could be really cute since they do have plants but it felt very odd. It had a weird juxtaposition of feeling homey while the place felt impersonal (perhaps due to the ordering system). I did not feel comfortable sitting for long. Drink: I ordered the lychee slushy. It was ok. I didn't love the slushy consistency, next time I would try a different tea. Overall, I would return if I was nearby but it's not my top pick in the area. read more
Happy Thirsty Thursday! I'm thoroughly enjoying something amaaaazing. Yes, it's Moomo Tea. My mind has been blown by their signature drink, the *MOOMO Mango Pomelo Sago*. It's caffeine free and comes in a limited edition cup. This drink is creamy with mango so sweet and silky. There's also sago, fresh grapefruit, and mango chunks. It tastes JUST like one of my favorite desserts but in drink form. This is very efficient! It's a super balanced drink and I enjoyed it with 50% sweetness, low ice. I've also been drinking the *Uji Matcha Milk Tea* non-dairy version. I'm a matcha fanatic so I might be biased towards all matcha drinks, but this is very nice. The uji matcha has a distinctive taste and is quite delicious. I also got this at 50% sweetness, low ice. If you're in the mood for something refreshing, get the *Pink Peach Slushy*. It's so tasty and perfect if you need some cooling off. All in all, I've been satisfied with every drink. No issues so far! I ordered online to save time, and it was ready within minutes. They also have kiosks in the store to keep everything moving along. There are some tables, so there is decent seating, but I can see how it might get crowded during peak hours. As a Boba tea connoisseur, I am always interested in trying new bubble tea places. So when my friend suggested trying this place out on a whim- I couldn't say no! You walk in and you order at the kiosk computer which is super easy. It's located in a shopping mall close by to the Gold Star Gymnastics in Sunnyvale so plenty of parking. Their specialty bubble teas are the fruity ones so I had to go a it h that. I tried their signature Mango Palmo one and it did not disappoint! It was super fruity (which is my jam) with plenty of pieces of mango inside. It also came in this super cute and innovative bottle that you get to keep in the end! I can't wait to reuse it. It even comes with a hole to put a straw inside. I'd say it's an "elevated" boba tea cup- so you get the full experience: a delicious bubble tea AND a souvenir! Highly recommend you try. Pro tip: I've heard that their drinks are on the sweet side, so I got 25% sugar. I'd recommend getting less sugar if you're not into the too sweet like I am! read more
This was a random stop in the Bay Area while we were recharging our electric rental vehicle in Sunnyvale. Moomo Tea was a small bubble tea shop in a strip mall off El Camino Real. I don't think it's a chain business as an online search yielded only this location. The inside had just a few tables for customers who wanted to hang out. In the front corner opposite the service counter was an arcade machine with a claw to try and grab one of the plushies at the bottom of the pit for $1 per attempt. You could order using a screen at the service counter. The standard serving size was 700 cc which was indicated on the business sign. This was approximately 24 fl oz in the imperial system. There was a 12% discount on drinks during my visit. The menu categories were broad with choices of milk teas, original teas, fruit teas, uji matcha, slushies, cheese foam, and special non-caffeinated drinks. Hot drinks and snacks were also available, the latter of which included items like popcorn chicken, beef/lamb kebabs, and mozzarella corn dogs. I chose a Grape Jasmine Green Tea with less ice and boba pearls. Grape is not a flavor I see very often at the boba tea places in my hometown which was why I ordered it. The liquid was purple like the grape color. The sweetness was just right for me at the 100% level. The boba quality was good with the appropriate degree of chewiness. Without the discount, the prices were a bit high but nothing that seemed particularly outrageous. My brief experience at Moomo Tea was at a four star level. read more
Boba cafes come and goes Moomo Tea has been around for over two years hopefully they will make their mark as Bro and I came by on rainy Friday afternoon parking is pack.with so many surrounding business right across from Habit Burger and Grill. Upon entry there's a self service kiosk payable by credit/debit or cash. I chose passion fruit green tea regular ice for $5.75 and Bro chose lemon green tea regular ice 25% less sweetness both regular size cup. Cozy interior though small in space they do outdoor seating. Price for drinks are very reasonable has a tint of aroma and refreshing taste and they do have fried snacks as well. Staff very efficient and quick on their feet. By the way we were the only customers so there's no long wait. Definitely be back on a weekday rather than on weekend. read more

I wanted something refreshing as I just ate at TopDumpling right next door. There's multiple ways to order: 1) You can scan the QR code on ur phone to order 2) Download the Snackpass app on your phone so you can get points 3) Order on their kiosk It's a really cute place that offers a variety of drinks and snacks. They had a nice bench area with flower pillows. I also like the name of the place "moomo", has a nice flow lol. I went ahead and order a pink lychee tea with yogurt popping bobas. It was my first time trying out yogurt popping boba, and it was interesting. With the lychee tea being sweet, the yogurt was creamy. My sister tried it and said it tasted medicinal. I didn't think it tasted like that, but I would just get regular popping boba or jelly. read more
Pricey for boba! I paid $15~ for two drinks: the Strawberry Latte and the Assam Black Tea. The Assam black tea was delicious though as it was perfectly chilled, the boba was soft and chewy, and the tea was strong! The strawberry latte was not overtly sweet and very light and refreshing. I ordered it 5minutes in advance with two people in cue so it was a very short wait! There's also a claw machine if you'd like to try your hand! read more

I liked all the drinks here! Parking is also quite easy. You can also order on Snackpass to skip the line and earn rewards. Mango sago is probably their most popular - I like it more than Yifang's. Milk tea flavor was great. The matcha drink was okay. read more
It's always such a pleasure to come to Moomo tea! There's usually plenty of parking, as long as parents aren't rushing to pick up their kids from the Russian school of math or gymnasium nearby. They generally have friendly service, which is much faster if you order through Snackpass in advance. My favorite menu item here is the mango pomelo sago, which is consistently one of their top items, and has been served in the special cups for at least a year now. I definitely recommend anyone in the area to come hang out at this chill place for some Boba! read more

The mango pomelo sago special is deliciously sweet and creamy, and there was only a 4 wait time when I ordered online. It's more pricey than it should be but it's novel and satisfied my craving when Heytea nearby was way too crowded read more
1/31/2024 Came here around 12. Ordered on the self servings kiosk: taro boba milk tea and Taiwanese sausage. The interior is super cute and would totally hang out with friends in the spot if the cashier wasn't on her phone and trying to fix the snack pass printing problem. She sounded super stressed out. I waited around 11 minutes before going up to her to ask if my order was ready. She was so preoccupied that she forgot about my drink but she made it really fast. I feel sorry for her, hope her day is better. The interior is super cute but the flower seats and table were a bit dirty even though it just opened 30 minutes ago. Love the vibe though. -.5 Taro boba milk ($6.95) I got 75% sweat and no ice. But to a sweet tooth person like me, it was not sweet. The tea was very strong though which was great. The taro was mashed so fine that there were like no tiny chunky taro. The boba balls lacks a bit of flavor in comparison to the strong tea. I feel like this drink was lacking in something but overall it was alright. Expected a lot more as it was quiet pricy even if the ingredients were fresh. -.5 Taiwanese sausages ($8.59). The sausages came in three sticks. This was honestly delicious especially when juices were literally squirted/ flowing out. I love the flavor and tasted just like Taiwanese sausages ( I have a lot back in Taiwan). $2.8 for a single sausage is quite pricy but I think it was worth it as a treat. Overall. The milk tea here was alright and the sausage was delicious. 4/5 I would love to try the peach drink next time ( it was sold out this day) and the popcorn chicken. read more

Moomo Tea-- where have you been all my life? While speculating when I would finally try the matcha boba from Zero&, a friend showed me a photo of the signature Mango Pomelo Sago drink in a reusable square bottle from Moomo. Cute! We decided to drop by and I was fixated on the jumbo 34oz fruit tea, but decided to get a Pink Peach Slushy with included Crystal boba instead. Oh my, fresh peach chunks, blended green tea and ice, plus crunchy jelly-like Crystal boba? Sooo refreshing! I got 0% sweet and it was perfect for me. Cannot wait to order this again. My friend got both the Mango Pomelo Sago and Mango Coconut Slushy. I tried a sip of the latter, and even at 25% sugar it was sweet, but not overly so. Very creamy plus had lychee jelly. We got snacks too. Popcorn chicken was cut into bite sized pieces. Savory with a hint of sweet. Nice crispiness. My mildly spicy fried tofu got a bit soggy. It says it contains 16 pieces, according to the menu. Interior is rather simple but cute. They have about three tables inside for two and some outdoor seating. AC is on to beat the heat. Order from 2 separate kiosks, 1 at the front counter and another to the right. Employee engagement was minimal but the lady automatically bagged up my order without having to ask, which was nice. Only dilemma now is whether to get the pink peach slushy again or try the jumbo fruit tea ... or both haha. read more
