I love coming here to get my hair cut by Shannon, she does incredible work! She can dry cut wavy textured hair making it fit and frame your face while going with the individual curl pattern. Amy Nguyen is a hair God! I have been getting my hair done with her ever since she was at Pearle Studios. In the beginning, when I had long hair, I went to Amy in hope of getting the V-shaped cut and she did not disappoint me like others did. From then on, we did all sort of colors and cuts. I rarely get my hair done now, maybe once or twice a year so I love that her balayages/ombres are always so well-blended that they still look good after many months. I've been coming to Amy for years and she truly is the QUEEN of color! Anything you can imagine she can do it! I first came to her when I had pretty much orange hair and she was able to create such an amazing blonde out of it that was just magical and I've been hooked ever since. What I also love is that she never goes overboard on trims. I've had a fear of getting haircuts ever since I was little due to hairdressers cutting off multiple inches when I wanted just an inch or two. I have been seeing her for my hair needs for almost 2 years now. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Nadia! Every 3 months or so, I go to her to get a Brazilian Blowout. She makes my cave woman hair not only tame, but GORGEOUS! She works with me and my crazy schedule, and she is always fun and friendly. $250 for the treatment but having her do my hair is extremely worth it! I went from having unruly, frizzy, and uncontrollable hair and then when Nadia gets to it, my hair is luscious, shiny, and completely malleable. Have been to most of the stylists at Crush. They all have done a great job and I agree that they are friendly. No "too cool for school" vibe here. I must say that Nadia gave me a Brazilian blow out....allow me to explain as the title leaves a little to be desired. it is a treatment for hair (on your head) that simply needs to calm down. Honestly, for 12 weeks after had it done my hair felt great, it was easy to manage, and I felt like (for the first time) that I could make my hair look just as it did when I left the salon. It is still totally smooth and dries in half the time...not sure whats in the magic but it works! Basically it is a smoothing treatment. After reading amazing reviews on yelp, I decided to give it a try. After spending over 200 $ my hair looked so bad that i had to pull it up in ponytail. The color they used is terrible, hair looks dull and flat. Cut is so bad, i can no longer have it down ( i have tried to style it different ways). While Applying the color they spilled it all over my face and would not een spend extra minutes to try and clean it off. Needless to say, I am never going back to Crush Hair Salon.
