Chris is the owner and amazing mechanic.... Had timing chain needed to be replaced... excellent job read more

Chris and the guys at Monument Auto Masters are excellent!! Great service, great price! They have saved my ass numerous times. read more

There is always a risk involved in giving really great reviews. Sometimes the business starts doing so well they don't have time for you. But with these guys I just had to write about them. With excellent service, personalized attention, expert repairs, I have to let you all know I am thrilled with their work. Over the last 4 years with 2 different cars I have always been overly pleased with their speed and proficiency. And the value is the best you will find anywhere. Trust is earned and deserved here. Great job everyone. Thank you so much. No stress auto repair. So happy to have found them. read more

My vehicle was due to 100k service. I usually do basic services on my vehicles myself, but did not have the time to perform a timing belt replacement on my own. Since I work on my own vehicles, I am fairly particular on who works on my vehicles. Chris and the technicians at Monument Auto Masters too great care of my vehicle and performed a full 100k service for less than a dealership and took great care of my vehicle. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Most auto shops rarely tell women the truth as to what their car really need and when I say I was so excited and happy to hear that I didn't need a new engine as I was told by a previous auto shop mechanic Chris wasn't just honest about my car the price to get it back running was like winning the lottery thee most honest guy mechanic I have ever known I even got tears because of his honesty so thanks again from the bottom of my heart from TMSWIFE read more

I have been to many auto mechanics shops, and been disappointed with them. Monument Auto Masters are the leaders, and his two mechanics Jamie and George are second to none in fixing your vehicles in top running condition. Chris An is straight forward in giving you the option in repairing your car, and he also guarantees his work. Come on by a pay him a visit, because you owe it to yourself to get the best work done for your vehicle. Plus, Chris An is one of the good guys. read more

My family and I will only bring our cars to Chris. Chris and his whole staff are knowledgeable and honorable, as well as always doing great work on on our cars. He has even given me a ride back to my house free of charge when I dropped off my car in a hurry. I won't go to anyone else. read more

My van started making a horrible screeching sound on the highway from the front passenger tire area and I nursed it home on city streets. I chose Monument Auto Masters on a referral from a friend and what a great recommendation that was! I came in on Monday morning just after they opened and they put it right on the lift, identified the problem (a torn fender liner) and fixed it on the spot. Chris, the owner, wasn't even going to charge me for it and I reminded him that his staff time was worth money and he agreed to take a small payment. Where else could you hope to find service as great as that? I'll be a customer for life and refer them whenever I can. read more

Have been bringing my 1993 Plymouth Voyager to them to maintain for 15 plus years now. They do great work and I trust them to fix what needs fixing. My car will be 25 years new now this coming May and it is all thanks to their great work in keeping it running like new after so many years with many more years of good safe driving to go. read more

I know nothing about car but I entrusted Auto Masters with regular check-ups on my car for the past four and half years. The owner Chris is very kind, informative, honest, and professional. Thanks to the maintenance done by Auto Masters, I could drive around with my old car safely. I highly recommend Auto masters. read more

In my lifetime, and at 55 it's been a long time, I have not had a mechanic due to feeling as I have been taken advantage of. Until now that is. After having taken my car repeatedly to Midas for squealing brakes MAM confirmed what I read about pour brakes. Topped off my brake fluid, when just 1 month ago I was at Midas for the third time and they didn't say squat about fluid. Looks like I will go back when needed to a place that treats people right and not just looking to make a buck off everyone. read more

I've taken my car here several times and they are great! Chris is so kind, very trustworthy. I'm very happy with them!

These guys did a great job! Had a problem with my master slave cylinder for my clutch on my Infiniti G35. They fixed it super fast. I haven't had a problem with it since a year later. read more

I have been coming here for years and I always forget to write a review but today totally deserves one. I walked in because I busted my side mirror off and ordered one to replace it myself. This was an epic fail to many bolts and ways to fuck up the door so I brought it in and they are going to replace it while I wait. How sweet are they now I get to save money by no ubering around all day plus I know it will be done right. I have done services such as brakes, o2 sensors, engine issues, alignment and smog between all the cars in my family. Chris the owner is always fair , well priced and will tell you that you can do this repair now and this one later to save you money in an emergency fix situation it's great. I know my car is always in good hands. read more

I am a long time customer of Monument Auto Masters in Concord, CA. I have had several cars serviced there over the years. The reason I keep going back is that I trust their honesty and the fact that they do not charge me for goods or services that I do not need. I highly recommend Monument Auto Masters. read more

I recently brought my ES350 Lexus to Monument Auto Masters and Chris was the best! He was honest and explained everything he did in detail. He didn't try to persuade me to make unnecessary repairs and answered all my questions. I had my reservations about bringing my car at first to anyone other than the dealership, however after I brought my car to Lexus of Concord and received the worst customer service ever, they even left grease stains on my light grey leather seats! And was trying to charge me nearly $900 for a regular 60K service, 3x times the price I was given at Auto Masters for the same service. They were not only customer service oriented, they did a great job of servicing my car, my baby is running smooth as ever. Thanks Auto Masters read more

It's been awhile since I had to visit these guys. (which is a good thing). On my previous visits they were always professional and efficient. My biggest kudos to them is they always give you all the options for repair and explain all the different pros and cons, on most repairs you can find the right solution to fit you budget. Only downside is they are M-f only. EDIT: Per the hours on here, they are now back open on Saturdays! :) read more

I have been coming to Auto Masters for about three years now. I have had other shops tell me what the problem is and when they have everything apart "Whoops" we have another problem and more money. Chris is very honest and able to diagnose a problem accurately and provide a cost with no surprises. In addition he is very punctual with his turnaround time. As far as his prices he is very fair! I would rather pay a fair price and have it repaired correctly instead of paying a cheaper price and having a poor job. read more

I came in to the shop yesterday to have auto Masters look at my 2006 Lincoln and they told me I needed a fan in the modulator and the cost was going to be over 600 in parts and 200 in labor for my peace of mind and I wanted to check around I called the dealership and the fan in the modulator on only comes in one unit The dealership said I could buy the whole unit for 289 no charge 100 dollars to put it in next time somebody goes to that shop you but I shop around before you get your car fixed there because you're going to get ripped off read more

My car was making a very LOUD noise after I ran over something large on the freeway. I thought for sure I broke an axel or something. It turned out to be a splash guard broke loose and was rubbing on the tire. Chris An (owner) could have charged me for some obscure engine part (I don't know anything about cars!) but he didn't. He is honest and trustworthy! I will bring my car to him for everything from now on...! I am so happy I found a reliable place for all my car service needs! read more

Great service! I came in early in the morning when they opened so there was no waiting. Very fast! :)

I have been coming to Monument Auto Masters for many years. Always had great service at a reasonable price. I have sent my friends here as well and I have never had a complaint. read more

Monument Auto Masters was recommended to me by a friend about a year ago and I have been taking my three cars there ever since. Chris is the owner and the person I always deal with; he is honest in outlining my options and their costs have been very reasonable. Also, the work has been done quickly. I would say that he is someone I can trust, which is important with cars now that are so complicated and where you pretty much have to take their word regarding what is wrong. I would not hesitate to recommend him to a friend or here on Yelp. read more

Always provides great service. I've been a repeat customer for about 5 years

My family and I have been coming here for a long time. My minivan is pretty beat up, but I always know that they'll get me back on the road quickly and for a reasonable price. Can highly recommend. read more

Low price, honesty, and fast. They did a good job today with my Honda 2002. The owner showed me the chips on my rotor, the rusty, and it was very thin; also he was honest with my brake pads. Big O tire in Pinole told me my front brakes was only 5mm, but they wouldn't recommend me to change them soon, but they did recommend me to change my tires. So after drove for another 3 thousand miles, I decided to have my brake changed. I had been calling many places, they either too expensive or couldn't tell me the price. Yesterday, I took my car to Wheel Works in Walnut Creek at 10am, and signed the paper, and was told to be ready at 2pm, maybe 2:30pm, the latest 3pm. I returned at 2:30pm, wait until 3:00, then said they couldn't do the job unless I agrees to change both, the rotors and the pads, but they were vague about the thickness of the pads. They said still 5mm. So I said no and left. I am glad I left because today I got a better deal with Monument Auto Master. They also rotate my tires. Big O Tire wouldn't rotate them because they said there were no enough track left. read more

No appointment needed for my oil change, in and out in less than 30 minutes! Professional, efficient and very helpful. On a side note the mechanics working in the shop could try to remember that the waiting room is within hearing distance, nothing negative was being said but the four letter words were not necessary, I would have asked to wait in the office if I had children with me. read more

Great service. I took my car in to have an axle shaft replaced and my transmission fluid changed. The service was a great and the price was reasonable. I appreciated the owner's honesty. It was great to find a shop that I can trust. read more

The best service I have ever received from any auto repair company/dealership. Hands down. Go see Chris for all of your auto repair needs!

This shop is great. I've gotten 2-3 oil changes here. They are quick, inexpensive, and offer incredible customer service. Very friendly. Highly recommended. read more

We've been going to Monument Auto Masters since the 90s back when our kids were younger. Now, our kids drive their own cars, most of them older models. We all bring our cars regularly for oil changes and maintenance and the guys would tell us what repairs we need to prepare for. They always give us repair options knowing that we have a tight budget. These guys have gained our trust through the years. We have the peace of mind knowing that our children drive vehicles maintained by these guys. read more
