While their gasoline is substantially cheaper than the gas stations around my area, I also grocery shop at Costco for selected items. On this trip I picked up a package of St. Louis ribs ($4.29 lb.), a package of Colossal Shrimp ($9.99 lb. and a cheesecake which I particularly enjoy (4.5 lbs. for $19.99). My son was coming over for Father's Day and my propane grill has been buzzing since early April. Many of the grocery items are bulk purchases, clothing, electronics, alcoholic beverages, and so much more are available. The aisles are wide, the meat and seafood is extraordinary and the gasoline price can't be beat. The membership cost is a small fraction of what you save at Costco Wholesale. The one star deduction because the gasoline lines can be long and the store can get crowded.

I also found the pho boxes I was looking for and the prices were cheaper than online. I also bought a 750 ml bottle of Bartenura Moscato for only $12. Found my favorite mango rasmalai in the store as well. I was so elated to see this store having self checkout lane with about 6 kiosks. That is such a relief as I didn't have to wait in line only to scan and pay for couple of items. I also went to the Customer service to return few items and the staff member was super helpful, processed the return in couple of minutes. Overall I had such better experience at this store compared to the Teterboro one. I would preferably shop more often at this store in future just because of the self checkout lanes.

Over the past five months, the quality and portion sizes have steadily declined. The last eight sandwiches I've ordered have consistently had very little meat and barely any toppings. For example, the Patriot sandwich had only about four slices of roast beef. The chicken cutlet sandwiches came with just two small strips of chicken cutlet and very few peppers or other toppings. Each visit seems to have fewer ingredients than the last. I understand that food costs have gone up, but charging the same prices while significantly reducing the portions isn't acceptable. They were unbelievably busy yet my wait wasn't too long (maybe 5-7 mins). Great prices, variety, and samples. Costco never disappoints!

The results were amazing (kudos to the craft person/jeweler who cleaned/enlarged my rings). The sales people were another story. When I asked the male sales person how much the enlargement and cleaning would cost, he responded, "Not a lot." Really? This was so unprofessional. Unprofessional Act #2: I had to call to find out when my rings would be ready because no one called me. Unprofessional Act #3. When my husband picked up my rings, the sales woman made a remark about how small the rings/my fingers/hands were. I am an Asian-American woman/mother who has been harassed by many White Women/White Men in Upper Montclair, Montclair, Cedar Grove, Verona & West Orange, NJ for years. It saddens/shocks me to admit the level of racism I have experienced in this area. I was shocked that the sales woman remarked about the size of my rings/fingers after we paid $150.00 to get these rings enlarged/cleaned. The lack of professionalism in Essex County, NJ is disappointing, yet no longer shocks me now that I understand how racist this area is.
