Uptown made it happen by her deadline. The Uptown embroidery shop-Louis, and his assistant (who sits at the front desk) , were very patient and helpful and came through! Bag looks great and recipient was happy. What was most surprising was that they seemed give me the same attentive service as their high volume clients. Most places do not want to do just one item, but Uptown understands that if you're happy with one item, that you're coming back for future orders, and I will be back. If you're in need of screen printing, embroidery or any type of promo swag, with a reasonable turnaround (they also have an eye for design), don't hesitate. They ship everywhere- including New York City Metro area.

Lost my order/file once. They will push back completing your order to fulfill bigger pricier ones such as school sports teams etc... this results in having your order not being done on time. It has a nice layout and there is plenty of room. The fabrics are shown to you by request which I really dislike. So you need to know which fabric you are interest in purchasing. The shop is in a nice location and it is easy to get to. I stitch to relax and unnecessary drama defeats the purpose. I had been in the shop numerous times where customers were obviously not happy campers. Even though it didn't happen to me it really rubbed me the wrong way. to witness it. Everyone has a off day but it seemed that this shop owner has too many of them. All customers are not treated the same and little by little I just stop wanting to go there. I like to support LNS shops and shopping for stash is fun but this place always left me feeling a little uncomfortable. I ordered something once or twice and both times regretted placing the order. Customer service is generally the biggest reason to shop in a LNS and the lack it keeps many shoppers away from this shop. It's a shame but if you choose not acknowledge a problem you don't think there is anything to fix. In this economy that is very risky for a small business owner.
