I'd like to start off by saying I've been a customer of Cochran for over A DECADE…read more
Cochran Collision:
Went there about a year to a year and a half ago or so, the service guys took a large suitcase out of my trunk and didn't put it back in there, which caused me to have to drive all the way back out there from my home in the Homestead/Munhall area. They wouldn't allow it to be FedExed to my home to save me a trip. There was an employee there who volunteered to meet me in the Braddock area (where she resides) and get it to me, and they wouldn't allow that either.
I noticed my back seat was flipped over, exposing my trunk - which I found odd - here, the service people never closed the seat properly and it flipped forward one day because it wasn't "locked" - there is a plastic piece missing (it serves no function, just cosmetic - and they wouldn't give me another piece).
I called and left a message at Cochran Collision, in their service department and NO REPLY WHATSOEVER. Unacceptable.
Cochran Cadillac Monroeville:
Went there for service not too long after the Cochran Collision incident and my advisor was a gentleman by the name of Ryan Beehner who IGNORED all TEN of my emails - yes I said TEN - when I asked him about the plastic piece and could I order one through them or did I need to do it through Cochran Collision - I even stated "if you cannot help me, that's no problem - I was just curious". No answer. When he finally DID answer, he said he had been "out sick" and would "look into it and get back to me IMMEDIATELY" and... nothing. (I have all the emails saved for proof.) I don't understand how hard it is to just answer "Yes, I can help you" or "No, that is something we cannot handle". (?????)
Had an appointment there for an inspection, and granted, this isn't TOTALLY their fault, but they could have handled this so much better than they did. The story is, I arrived for my morning appointment and I noticed the doors didn't automatically swing open so that I could drive in, as I typically would. The advisor came outside and said their electricity was out (which there was a microburst in the area that wiped a lot of folks out for DAYS, which I deemed understandable). HOWEVER, why no phone call? And if the phones were down due to the electrical issue - why not email me from your CELL PHONE rather than have me DRIVE ALL THE WAY THERE FROM HOMESTEAD/MUNHALL FOR NOTHING????!!! So they rescheduled me...
At my rescheduled appointment, they found the issue that was causing my check engine light to come on, and they said they ordered a part (a "pump" of some sort). So I was scheduled to come in today (May 19, 2025), I drove all the way there once again... FOR NOTHING. Mind you, this is during working hours. I had my work laptop all set up and ready to work, and the guy comes out and says, "They forgot to order the part." I'm sorry, but this is UNACCEPTABLE and I don't have the time (especially WORK TIME) to WASTE traveling back and forth to Monroeville for NOTHING. The advisor was very apologetic, and I'm not angry with him at all. However, I am FURIOUS with the service people. What a waste of time and money.
