They are our go to fir servicing our Honda because they are close (and have most of the vehicle's service records), but they aren't the greatest. First, it is near impossible to get ahold of anyone by calling. you usually need to leave a message and it is a crap shoot on whether they will actually call back. They also seem to like to push extra and unnecessary services. They knew we just replaced tires about a month before our service, but still insisted that we needed a rotation. They offer a free car wash with service m, ask if you want it but then often forget to actually do the wash. All that being said, staff is friendly and the work always gets done. read more

They passed my car for inspection when I didn't have working headlights (low beams). The kicker is they told me to pass inspection I needed a new fog light on one side only. So I paid for that. They gaslit me into thinking I was going blind at night when the reality is my headlights didn't work. read more

This morning, we called to make a Saturday appt (the only day we can be without the car) to have our A/C fixed. Was told they don't do that on Sat's to make room for more important service issues. I called and spoke to the Service Manager and she said the same thing, but added they did not have staff to do A/C on the weekend and offered me no solution. Be careful, deceptive business practices present at Valley Honda. The licensed dealership employees made false and misrepresenting statements to My wife several times during the process. She has purchased 4 cars at Valley Honda before we met. After purchasing the Vehicle Saturday, Monday phone calls and emails went unanswered or returned until we showed up at the dealership Tuesday evening. For this car, the desk only presented the payment with a $3,394 Zurich 84 month warranty when the Factory Honda 96 Month warranty is only $1,396 online at other dealerships. The Zurich warranty is their own internal self insured company, and the dealership personnel represented, even if by omission, that it was the Honda Manufacturer extended warranty. My wife was unware that this warranty was not backed by the Manufacturer, Honda. They also proposed it with a $995 zurich shield 5 yr Paint "Product" They only provide 1 page without the terms of the "Product", they only include a QR code that you must scan to go see the fine print. This paint "Product" was mentioned to my wife on the sales floor without a price, and she was lead to believe by the sales manager that it would cover dents also. During the presentation. A licensed sales professional also stated that "I don't care if you get it or not" This is a misrepresentation because the Finance Manager earns a commission, therefore he cares if she buys the "Product". Additionally my wife should have done the Capital one Auto Navigator approval online before going to the dealership, it would have saved the headache we experienced. Capital one Auto Navigator gave us a rate of 4.84 at 84 months to refinance the vehicle, and Valley Honda financed us at 6.34 percent for 84 months saying that was the best rate that Honda Finance would give and Capital one would give that rate also. The finance manager, even after we revisited the dealer said that 6.34 percent interest was a "Good Rate". Unfortunately, this was a misrepresentation of a material Fact that the finance Manager Anthony should have known. Even after offering them Tuesday evening to pay the flat cancel fee with the bank (which Captial one offers to dealers) and refinance it with Capital one at a "Good" rate, Wednesday morning Alex called saying that the owner refused the offer. It would have Cost them almost nothing to make this right.. I am sad to have to post this review, a majority of the review I post are 5 Star reviews (feel free to check my Google history). I would not reccomend going to this dealership, from the above information you can see Valley Honda was not focused on truthful statements to make a fair profit. Valley Honda demonstrated misrepresentations of material facts that they should have known to be false. And yet now it costs me time, money, effort, and the stress of helping my wife with the anxiety that they put her through with their misrepresentations during the sale. WARNING! WHEELS NOT ATTACHED SECURELY AFTER SERVICE WORK! Twice during my last three service visits, once for State Inspection in 2023, and once for Express Oil Change in December 2024, one or more of my wheels were not secured properly afterwards. In both cases, those wheels began to wobble, and were almost ready to fall off the car, if I hadn't stopped to get the lug nuts secured myself. After the first incident, the Service Manager apologized and said that they would address the issue with their staff. After the second incident, which happened in December 2024, the Service Manager apologized, said that they would issue me a refund of the cost of my service call, and would address the issue and get back to me. She never responded, so I contacted the General Manager, who reiterated the same things. Weeks later, with no refund issued or return call from either one, I contacted the owner, and left him a message. Again, no call back, and no refund. It's upsetting not only that no one has bothered to get back to me to fulfill their commitment to me as a dissatisfied customer, but more so that this potentially very dangerous miss on doing something simple like attaching the wheels to the car was not addressed, and happened a second time. So, beware, if you think they're doing things properly when they remove the wheels to do any service work or inspection, you could be in for a dangerous surprise, if your wheels fall of the car when you're moving! read more

Reluctantly went to the dealer for service for my 2020 Honda because of the distance from my home. My " service garage" told me I would have to pay $500 for a test to see why my AC wasn't working. I called Valley Honda to see if they could do the test cheaper and yes the quote was $120 cheaper. Upon repair I paid $155! There was no need to do the expensive test. Broken wires to the compressor were the problem. Valley Honda is honest and reasonably cheap! It made my day. I was expecting to pay near $1000! read more

Absolute WORST experience purchasing a car and for my daughter purchasing her first car! Drove the car back to our hometown - went back out a couple hours later (after the dealership closed) and the car would not turn over. Every warning light lit up. At this point 40 miles on the car!! Called Honda roadside- also a terrible experience. Had to leave the car over night and have it towed in the morning to a different Honda dealer that was closer required by Valley and Honda roadside. This was a Friday night- absolutely the worst experience trying to get it even looked at. The people at Valley did nothing!!! Thankfully Bariel Honda was able to fix it on Tuesday with a transmission issue. After 5 days of being without a car she finally has her car. Valley didn't even respond to try to make things at least palatable! Will NEVER RECOMMEND OR PURCHASE FROM HERE! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Burnt my hands buying a vehicle and trusting Valley Honda and salesman Joe Ballante. I purchased a Honda Accord in December 2021 from Valley Honda, Monroevill, Pittsburgh. The car was a 2019 with 3000 miles. Repeatedly questioned the salesman why the vehicle ( which we eventually purchased) with low miles is priced so low compared to another same model with higher miles but priced much higher. And every time the answer was it's the manager's decision. Asked about the damaged windshield seal, but was told it was nothing. After taking the car for touch up paints, recently, we were told at the shop that it definitely looks like the driver side of the vehicle was repainted as well the sealant was damaged before purchasing. We went back to Valley Honda. The dealership refused to take any responsibility and the sales person did not show any empathy. Paid our hard earned money to buy this and now stuck with a damaged vehicle. This is sheer unprofessional behavior from the dealership and salesperson, but putting this here so they cannot dupe other people. read more

Dealing with Valley Honda has been one of the worst experiences I have had when buying a vehicle. I bought a 2020 Honda pilot a little over a year ago (so a 3 year old suv) with under 30k miles on it at the time. Not a brand new vehicle but certainly should be in excellent condition and should not have major problems. Unbeknownst to me the vehicle had "known Honda" issues with the sound system that became glaringly evident to me within 2 days of owning the vehicle. As a honda dealer and very widespread known problem you would think they would have recognized, known and fixed the issue before putting it on their lot. Instead they down played it to get past the 72 hours I had to return as a new buyer and let me be the one to incur the frustration and time of dealing with the issues. I learned, after countless trips to repair, mass amounts of time to their service department to fix, and research on my own of how widespread of an issue it was on my own. To make matters worse their sales team upsold me on a supposed bumper to bumper warranty (per their sales associate I would have nothing to worry about minus normal wear for the next 6 years) until of course I actually tried to use the warranty. I had the joy of water pouring in at my drivers side feet during a rain storm. I once again call their service department who instead of having me bring it in to look at the vehicle says "Here is a number of a 3rd party we don't really do water issues if he won't honor your warranty call us back and we will get you in." I had the pleasure of calling the 3rd party who was astonished that I was given his cellphone number because he doesn't directly deal with customers. He is an outsourced resource once a vehicle has been brought into the dealership. He had me take the vehicle to a different ,more reputable, Honda dealer in the area to be looked at, analyzed and subsequently fixed. To my surprise I was told the repair was going to cost me upwards of $500 to fix and wasn't covered under my bumper to bumper warranty. I immediately called Valley honda, before I paid a dime, since it was their sales team who told me bumper to bumper with zero stipulations. After their service and sales manager both sang me shaggy's it wasn't me I was informed the only person who could potentially do anything was the dealership gm. He called me back a few hours later and after catching him up on the immense amount of issues from the door and the current mess ups left and right starting with the initial call to his service department his response ...we definitely dropped the ball and things will need to be changed but there is nothing I am able to do...this is one of a handful of whoopses that happen throughout the year. Unfortunately, the only thing I can offer is for you to bring it back in and we will give you a great trade in. After all the deception, terrible quality, and atrocious customer service (and lack there of at times) let me head right on over and buy my next vehicle from you. Absolute joke. Our son bought his 1st car from Valley Honda in Monroeville, it was a used 2004 CRV - with 90,000 miles, for less than $6,000, excellent condition with a sun roof... He was treated very well, there was an issue with the Instrument panel cluster, which they discovered right before he came to see the car, they offered to replace it -same price.. He's been driving it for a few months now.. runs beautifully.. Rick M sold him the car, he was very helpful, kind.. one thing we really liked about this place was, on their wall & when you sign the papers, there is a 3 month warranty with EVERY car they sell, even used. We did use this Warranty a couple days after purchase, it was literally nothing, likely someone didn't tighten down a bolt where water got into the spark plugs, car was chocking the next day after raining. So they fixed that right up, been like a new car ever since. We drove an hour to see this Crv, thankful we found it (1st to see it!) & How Valley Honda replaced a faulty Panel for our son -before allowing it to be sold. I dropped the car off the night before and made it clear that I would be picking it up as a lock-out, so there was no need for the service department to rush for any reason -- they had, literally, all day to service the vehicle. When I picked up my car at 9:45pm, I turned the key and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. There were no lights on my dash when I brought car in, and the alerts were all related to the wheels -- ABS, etc. I have never seen these lit before, ever. Now, my first question is which of your techs drove my car out of the bay and either didn't notice the lights on the dash or didn't care to drive it back into the bay and figure out why they were on? Seriously, are you letting blind technicians drive vehicles? There is NO WAY someone could have missed the giant ball of orange lights on the left side of the dashboard. I purchased my new car November 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. Under this circumstance we did most of the communication online and over phone, no problem. My first issue was when I came to sign and get keys. I was Not informed of the extra accessories, so I purchased elsewhere online. I responded to the emails sent post purchase, how did we do and said exactly this have yet to have person call for follow up .... I don't have any reason why I would pick valley Honda dealership in comparison of another Honda dealership. Follow up services: Today I returned for the free oil change. Ended up getting my free inspection paid for emissions prices and was to get my free car wash with this service. The service person alerted me car was all ready to go. I paid for the services and left, ONLY TO REALIZE WHILE DRIVING home they didn't was the car at all. Bought a used Honda Fit. It needed a clip for the back seat which took 2 days to fix, but I was fine with that. Go there to pick up the car and they did not detail it or even vacuum out the car. There was still dog hair on all seats so I asked them to please vacuum out car... so what did they do... they vacummed only the floor of vehicle and not the seats or trunk. When the vehicle was traded in it seems to me they did nothing at all with the car, but just a quick flip. No floor mats in car neither, in addition, the tires are not all the same, 3 of them are, but not the 4th. I bought from them in the past in 2016 and had a great experience. It seems to me their customer service went way downhill in 2021, so I will not buy from them in the future, or do any service work their on my 2 Honda's. I'll call Dean Honda instead. read more

I received a notice in the mail about a recall on my vehicle. I called Valley Honda and spoke to a service/scheduling coordinator named Jojo. I was truly shocked by the negative experience I had with her. From the start, Jojo sounded annoyed and I felt like I was bothering her. I explained about the notice and why I was calling. She asked me for my VIN, which I did not have in front of me because my car was in the shop for an unrelated issue but told her that I had the plate number. Immediately, Jojo started taking an attitude with me and said "well the plate number doesn't do me any good so." She asked me when I would be able to get the VIN and I told her I didn't know bc it was in the shop but maybe tomorrow. She then said "well just call us tomorrow then." I was shocked by this and didn't say anything. She then asked me what was going on with the car so I told her. She started talking about pricing, and I said okay, but replied that the initial notice said that repairs are free for the recall due to a manufacturing issue and that I got a second one reminding me to call in a day before. Jojo cut me off with "well, like I said I can't look anything up without the VIN" with a sneer. I again was stunned by her behavior and didn't say anything. Jojo moved on to discussing scheduling. I told her I'd need a Saturday and she said no. I explained that I work FT and am almost a FT grad student in the evenings with no help so my ability to bring a car to them during the week was extremely limited if not 0. She again said no and that she "doesnt have the staff for that on a Saturday" (...?) She then tried to schedule me for the middle of the day on a weekday, which I had said before that I could not make work. I said again that I couldn't do that without having a loaner vehicle to drive while they work on my car for the recall. I told her that with a loaner, I wouldn't care how long the recall repair took so if it was there for a few days that was okay (yaknow... when she would have the staff...). She acted shocked that I asked for a loaner and said that they don't do that. I asked her if there was another solution and she basically said no. I'd have to leave the car for an unknown amount of time on a weekday or nothing. I am baffled by the way that Valley Honda allows these folks to speak to customers. I have been looking for a Honda dealer to bring my vehicle to moving forward. Jojo has ensured that it will certainly not be Valley Honda. For the urgency of the notices being sent to me from Honda Corporate, you'd think that the dealerships would be trying to help customers get their vehicle recalls fixed without the unnecessary attitude and judgment, ESPECIALLY when it becomes such a big safety issue as this one. When this is the fault of Honda for incorrectly manufacturing something that is now posing a serious risk of harm, it seems like behaving like this is opening Honda up to legal issues here. read more

Extremely disappointed. Read below and hopefully I can save you/your family from buying an unreliable vehicle from a dealership that won't help you when the car poses issues. My mother purchased a 2016 Honda CRV for ~$22,000.00 from Valley Honda last summer (2022), putting ~10,000 miles on it since ownership. Since then, the following work has been performed due to repeated issues and concerns over the safety of the vehicle: replacing front and rear brakes and rotors, calipers, alternator, wheel bearing, and sensor. After discovering that yet another issue has arisen, I called to speak with someone from Valley Honda regarding the car's condition. After expressing my concerns, Andy, the general sales manager, explained that he could not and would not do anything to assist. To own a vehicle for just over a year, only put less than 10,000 miles on it, and pay ~$22,000 for it, I don't think it's an unrealistic expectation for the car to be SAFE, reliable, and not require this much maintenance and replacement within the first year. According to Andy, that is an unrealistic expectation. I will not purchase from this location or recommend to anyone - not for purchasing or maintenance. read more

I had an early morning appointment for a recall on July 17, 2023. When I called to make the appointment in June the woman representative told me that even though the recall letter said it would take a couple hours, they would need the car all day. She suggested I bring the car down the night before so they could work at their own pace, and to leave the keys in the service entrance lock box. No problem, good idea. July 16, 2023 I followed my friend and her husband to the dealership because he knows all the back roads. It's about a 30 minute drive to the dealership from home. My adult son was with me and we planned to all go to breakfast after dropping the car off. We got to the dealership and it had some orange cones and tape around the parking lot. You could tell they had their parking lot paved. We stood there and wondered how we were suppose to get to the lock box. My friend drove around the building and there was no way to get to the lock box. Again, we kinda brainstormed and decided to step over the tape to get on the sidewalk to find the lock box. There was no problems as the parking lot was dry. We came to the end of the sidewalk in front of the showroom and stepped on the parking lot to walk around the corner to find the lock box. All four of us were walking on the lot. All of a sudden I hit a "puddle" of tar and down I went! I was hurt! I was afraid to get up so I crawled to the sidewalk. I was COVERED in tar! My clothes, my purse, and my sneakers. We got back to my car and thank God I had a blanket in the back of my car or my friends could have never driven me home. I was not happy with my son, where was he when I fell? Smart kid was taking pictures. He then walked the same path to the lock box and INSIDE the lock box, which you HAD to walk on the lot to get to, was a note apologizing for any convenience for the tarring of the lot and to park in front of the pastry shop and leave your keys in the drop box. HOW ABOUT THAT, THE NOTE IN THE BOX HA!! So they obviously expected people to do just that, when how did they think you were going to get to the lock box? They should have called the early morning appointments and give a heads up because I wouldn't have gone. The next morning my friend took me to get my car, which I also had inspected, and I asked to speak to the manager. He came out and I showed him the pictures and his answer was "what do you want me to do?" I said Honda should at least pay for my clothes. He told me to leave my information and he would forward it to whoever. He could have cared less and NOTHING was ever done. You's think I could have at least the inspection for free. I have a permanent scar on my ankle where the tar gouged it, my left knee was black and blue for weeks and I still can't kneel on it. By the way I have three witnesses who can back up my story, plus pictures. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I will NEVER go to that Honda dealership again, nor will I ever purchase another Honda. Bought my used CRV at the end of August. Since then I have had it towed in twice. First time they said it just needed a new battery, got that for free, had to pay the tow. Second time same thing happened, supposedly they did a software update due to a battery draining issue... well... its doing the same thing again. Not happy. 3 issues in not even 2 months. I'm going to start with the cons: -horrible on the phone. I've noticed that with most auto service centers, they are all pretty horrible on the phone--not speaking clearly, loudly, sounding impatient, not picking up at all, etc. The front desk lady at this location actually hung up on me when she was trying to transfer me to service. I called back telling her what happened and she was angry I said she hung up. Service takes a while to pick up and the person on the line is always so hurried and never waits for you to finish your question. -inflexible hours and hard to schedule. Had no idea dealerships were so popular at every hour...service is booked at all times for weeks so the only slots available are 8am on weekdays. Also, no Sunday hours and closing time is 4pm??? How does anyone schedule anything here? -car passenger seat was a mess after service was done. I guess they were trying to find my registration and threw whatever was in my dashboard compartment on the floor of the vehicle without putting anything back. Rude! -I peeked in the customer lounge and they don't have any snacks or drinks (besides coffee) like the Subaru dealership :( pros: -free shuttle service within 5mi. This came in handy as my work was only 3.5mi away so I got a private ride to and from the dealership. -price is average. I don't have comparison data but my 2007 Civic front brake pads replacement cost about $167. It didn't wow me but didn't scare me either so I take that as an average price. Unless I have a pressing Honda parts specific issue, I will be going elsewhere that isn't so crowded and hard to schedule for tire replacement, oil changes, etc. read more

I bought my car in Summer 2014, it was fine. I don't think anything was stellar, but it's Honda where there is little wiggle room when buying new. My complaint comes two years later when I take my car in for an oil change, tire rotation & state inspection. I had damaged the outside of my passenger side mirror. It works fine just looks a little ugly. I did ask if they would give me an estimate as to how much it would cost to fix it. About 30 minutes after dropping it off, they called to tell me it would "not pass inspection" due to the damage and it would cost over $330 to fix and they would have to special order the parts. Mind you, I did this to my car 1.5 years ago and it passed inspection last year at another service enter. So I told them to do the emissions, oil change, rotation and that would be all.... I then promptly took my car to Midas where they passed my car for inspection with NO mention of the mirror being an issue at all. I cant believe this even happened, and am sharing at the request of friends. Luckily I escaped buying a car here, but was harassed by text messages after the fact. We went to Valley Honda of Monroeville on Friday afternoon to learn about the Honda Odyssey, and at the end of the day, almost bought a "demo" that had 5400 miles on it. Luckily, we did not have our updated insurance card with us. We gave Jeff, the salesman, our credit card to run in the morning, so we could have the vehicle in time for a wedding. That night I used Edmunds.com to research and found out the deal on the 5k vehicle was not a good one. I could get a new one from the same dealership for $2k less than the offer. I also submitted a request online for a guaranteed low price from multiple dealers. My husband and I decided we should maybe wait and not buy a vehicle yet, so we texted Jeff in the morning to let him know we were not ready to purchase. On Saturday morning, dealers started calling us because of the Internet request. The price plummeted and enticed us. We let Jeff know that we were interested in buying, and he said he could beat whatever new price we got from other dealers. He started to use tactics like telling us "He earned the right to sell us a vehicle", since he had given us the test drive. He would not give us a price on the used vehicle over the phone, and just told us to come in and sit in front of him and he would give us a good deal. Yet he would go to a price we found for a 5400mile Odyssey, or give us $2500 off of the lowest price of a new vehicle, which is what he had told my husband he would do for us since it had miles on it. After we went elsewhere, he sent me text messages calling me a liar and making me feel very uncomfortable. I feel so icky about this whole situation. I don't want to cause any negativity towards him, and in fact, considered trying to talk to him to explain why we went elsewhere. But having him text me after he knew I already bought a car, and calling me a liar.... He actually told me to call his general manager Steve Hortsman, which I only did because I wanted to confirm if he would apologize or also take an attitude towards a potential customer. I went there last week to look at a 2010 Subaru Forester that they had posted on line. It was nice and clean for a 2010 except the engine compartment, which looked liked a typical 2010 with road dirt. No big deal. I was on the phone with my wife and ready to pull the trigger on the purchase - when another salesman walked by me and confirmed that I was making a good decision on purchasing the Subaru, since the head gaskets have just been replaced. Well if you know Subaru, the head gaskets on the 2.5L motor are one of the only concerns... Great (I thought) until I again looked under the hood again and found: * road dirt typical with a 2010. * NO clean spots or fingerprints. * NO signs of cleaned bolts, oil drips or radiator fluid drops. Bottom line - nothing which would indicate that ANY work was completed under the hood. I pointed this fact out to my salesman who said that the mechanic possibly completed this work from under the vehicle. But after he talked with the mechanic, he insisted they pulled the motor entirely and spent 12 hours of labor replacing everything associated with the head gaskets including valve cover gaskets. What we did talk about was how I should purchase their after market warranty that they were pushing ($3000 to $3500 for 6 years) - this would cover any and all future repairs on the car. I just don't like paying in advance for repairs on my car, especially when the repairs where imaginary. So tell me, how do you pull a motor from a 2010 Subaru Forester and leave absolutely no sign that human hands even touched the motor? What a mystery. I watched hours of YouTube videos that night on Subaru head gaskets, then talked with the GM the next day about the inaccuracy. He did offer to take it to another Subaru dealer (at my expense) to run a diagnostics on the car, but that did not address the fact that the work was not completed as stated. The reason for the 1 star review was that they did give me my $1000 deposit back. To the boys at Valley Honda - clean the engine compartment next time you want to fabricate maintenance or repair work invoices, then pass them off to the buyer. I hate lies and lazy liars. read more

Avoid at all costs! I went to this location with my wife while she was car shopping for a new Accord. There were two other couples walking around the lot looking at cars as well when we pulled up. There were about six sales man working and not one asked if they could help us. After fifteen minutes without any service we left! I will never step foot on their car lot again in life! read more

I've used this place for service including oil changes, no problems with quality of their work so far. But it's a honda I haven't had to have much work done :) They begin their work at 7 30am and just take appointments as they roll in. It's kind of nice but my advice is get there early. So far prices are average they did try to sell me tires I don't really need yet, but to me that's typical dealer upsell type stuff. My rating would be higher but they always neglect to call me and tell me car is done. My advice just go up and ask about your car if you're only having an oil change after a couple hours. horrible! treated me like I didn't know anything and I was wrong about the problems I was experiencing. Anitia was the most desrspectful person there. I have requested someone call me forover1 month to discuss this and no one has. here is my story: On 7/1/18 I noticed my car (2012 CRV Honda purchased at Valley Honda) was making a noise in the back driver's side tire area and it smelled very bad when I was driving. There was also a noise coming from the hood. I called Valley Honda to make an appointment I explained about the wheels overheating and that there was an overwhelming burning smell coming from them. the soonest they could see me was the following week. I waited and took it in even though it seemed very hot. I expressed concern about my safety driving the car this way, but they had no other solution for me. I took the car in on 7/9/18 as scheduled (and took an Uber to work $15). Anita called and said that the rear brakes needed changed, I explained that on 3/18/17 I had brakes put on by my local mechanic, she said because my mechanic had used off market parts they need replaced so I had them change them. It ended up not being the off market parts but the original Honda caliber that was the problem. I asked several people to explain the bill to me and no one could. There seemed to be information on the bill about the caliber I did not understand. The next day when I called and asked Anita for the 3rd time to explain it she said "I don't have time to keep explaining this to you". Upon driving the car back to my home (a ten min drive) the tires were still burning. My husband (an airplane mechanic) said he thought from the smell and brake dust that it was a caliber. I called and explained what had happened. Anita said it didn't happen while it was here. After several calls and complaints to Anita she agreed to call the insurance company. At this time I had a business trip to Washington D.C. in which I needed my car ,but because I was so uncomfortable with the burning smell I had to rent a car (another additional expense) Finally Anitia called he extended warranty company (Zurick) which I bought thru Valley Honda, and made arrangements for the inspector to see it. Valley Honda said they couldn't do anything until the inspector came and saw it. Several days later I took my car on the assigned day and took another uber to work (another $15). Anitia called late in the day to inform me the inspector did not show up on the arranged day (another day taking Ubers over $50 at this point) and then when he did make it the next day he barely had time to view my car. He said the caliber was fine. Valley Honda gave me back the car. Almost immediately I noticed the smell and the noise AGAIN. I called and spoke to Anita she said I must be wrong that they had checked it the inspector checked it. Not believing me and being extremely rude and disrespectful of my observation. Anita said bring it in b/w 5-7pm and have a mechanic see it actually burning, so I did on 7/13/18 at 5:30pm. When I arrived no one would come and look at it so they could verify it was burning. I begged the receptionist to minimally check so she could relay her observation, since no one believed me. My husband and I could see about 5 men in the back working on cars. No one but the receptionist ever can out to speak to me. I called the next day explained to Anita what happened and she didn't seem at all concerned. I suggested a mechanic drive the car more then 1 mile and she said that was not possible. Then she said asked if one of the technicians could take my car overnight. Reluctantly I said yes. I assume Valley Honda has insurance to do that. Although this seemed inappropriate, no one ever told me if this was done and who took it home or where it went. I am not sure if this was done but the wheels continued to overheat. After weeks of getting no answers from Valley Honda and my car getting worse I drove into the Rohich Honda Express service station in Shadyside. They greeted me at the entrance couldn't believe I was driving this car which was now making louder noises and the rear wheel was burning up. When Dave from Rohich Honda called Valley Honda Anita said it was the inspectors decision and they relayed on that!! Dave said she was very rude and uncooperative. I had told them it was burning up and they would not listen to me. Anita was the one that did not relay the conversation properly or follow thru with the problems. Rohich changed the caliber, telling me the inspector only comes for very high priced repairs such as transmissions and such..REALLY? They just call in the claim and get approval over the phone. Why did Anita tell me different and why did have to wait for days. read more

I bought a Honda CRV 2 years ago. When I took it to be inspected last year there was an issue with the brakes but they didn't charge me because they said that should not have happened because there was very few miles on the car. Well I took it to them today to get it inspected and was told that both the front and back brakes on one side were really bad and need to be replaced which will cost me just under $1000. I don't know if the Honda CRV is a piece of crap or if it's the dealership. I had a Mazda and a Toyota and never had this problem. I definitely won't be buying a car from Valley Honda ever again and I will advise anyone who is thinking about buying a car not to buy a car from them. I'm definitely going to buy a Toyota when I trade in this hunk of junk. read more

Car dealerships have a bad reputation. They wouldn't if they were all like Valley Honda. I've tried over a half dozen different dealerships in Monroeville and Valley Honda and Pittsburgh East Nissan were the only places that had knowledgeable, friendly sales people who weren't pushy. The dealership is well maintained, the prices are very low for the quality and reliability of the vehicles, and there's no upsell or "hidden fees". I got my Honda Fit 5 years ago and haven't needed anything beyond basic maintenance. They offer easy online booking for service, and they've always been courteous, thorough, reasonably priced, and fast for my annual inspections. Their waiting room is large and comfortable and has free wifi and has chairs to read and desks available to work. Valley has restored my faith in car dealerships! read more
