Pretty decent place. Price is somewhere in the middle of cheap and expensive, but the portions are pretty generous. The two older dudes (one dem ain't that old) cooking there be the nicest guys ever. I've been here three times and they always be stacking my plate with a lot more food than fits in the bowl. Absolutely LOVE this place. We grab takeout here at least once a week. Service is always wonderful and food is so delicious. They recommend that you mix all of the sauces for the best flavor and they are absolutely correct. So delicious and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. This place is bomb! I don't know why people gave it bad reviews! The people working there are really nice! My only complaint is the I would have enjoyed it more if we could have served ourself our own amount of noodles. At another Mongolian BBQ place I went to you could stack as much noodles as you could on your bowl. However, I know that probably isn't good for the business, so I understand why they serve the noodles for us. I also felt like there wasn't much of a difference in the amount of noodles between the regular and the large? I have never gotten the smaller size before, so I wouldn't really know. It was just based off of what I saw from how much other customers got when they ordered the regular size. Maybe it is just me Regardless, the food is delicious! I loved how close it was to where I used to live! Wish I came here more often before I moved. I would definitely recommend people to come here and give this place a chance! Not enough food for the amount that it costs. Hardly any soda in what was meant to be a large size.

It pains me to write this but sincerely do not come here if you want mongolian. My usual is Big Wok in Ontario but I was lazy to make the drive and paid the price. It's hard and expensive to run a restaurant--I get it. But I've never been to a Mongolian place where they have signs restricting you from doing things like flattening meat at the bottom of the bowl (meat must be kept in curls.) Noodles, sauce and seasonings are applied for you by the staff. You only allowed to portion out your meat and veggies. This means if you purchase the AYCE option, they can load up your plate with noodles causing you to get full sooner. The sauce and seasonings were applied by someone who pretty much took the reins without talking to me. I told him what sauces I wanted and he decided for himself the portioning, heaping spoonful after spoonful of garlic sauce. They also charge 50 cents for refills but it's not made clear until after you purchase, the sign is by the soda machine not the register. It was the worst meat/veggie to noodle combo I've ever had--whole plate was those bright orange noodles. The worst part is that all the garlic made it taste like dirty water. I didn't finish my meal and I feel like I wasted my money. I love to support small businesses in my area, and due to its location I thought it would be at least as good as the restaurants across the street in university village. Boy was I wrong. I'm trying to be as fair and understanding as I can. I get that people have their bad days. I am basing this review on my own experience. I am being as honest as I can. read more

Sucks this was my favorite place. I would go everyday or every other day for years . But the boss (lady) was watching me stack lots of meat and went out of her way to break rolls into pieces and stare me down whole time but wait there's more.. she told the chef to put little little noodles and I caught her. When boss, boss wife, or younger gentleman aren't there I love this place and no problems. I felt so disrespected that I might have to find a new spot. The food is good when prepared by the older men - the younger men tend to prepare the food high in sodium, too high to eat. So far, I have thrown away 2 plates on 2 different occasions. It's always empty when I come here. I'm not sure why because the food is pretty good! They have options of a regular sized bowl or large. Both are reasonable prices, regular being $8 & large $10. In the end you get a togo box filled with goodies if you know how to pack the bowl with your favorite items! It could be tough filling it up because it is difficult layering everything you want in such a small bowl.. Which technically isn't. But once they mix your toppings with the noodles and cook everything up, it really is fulfilling! I rate this place a 3 because although I think it's good, it's not amazing. Nothing too much to rave about, so 3 stars for average! It's a pretty clean restaurant, workers are mediocre. They don't really talk to you. My food stacking skills are improving every time! ---- I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet and its been open for months! This is your typical Mongolian BBQ grill with a little Korean influence. You have the option of getting the regular or large bowl and putting whatever you want in it. I think the regular bowl is 5.99 and the large is 7.99. Either of these bowls will become a combo with rice, soup, and a drink for an extra two bucks. You can also order entrees from the kitchen so you don't have to do any of the work. Some options include ramen, bi bim bap, bulgogi, and maybe a couple of other things that I can't quite remember. I've had both the bulgogi bowl and the bulgogi combo. They are good options if you don't feel like packing your own food. My roommate had the bi bim bap and liked it, although she said that it was really spicy so you might want to ask for the sauce on the side. Now, the main reason everyone comes here is for the chance to create their own tower of food! I usually just get the regular bowl and try to pack it as well as I can. It's like a game. You try to pack the bowl as much as you can without the food toppling over. They'll add the noddles and sauces at the end and then proceed to dump it on the humongous grill. Don't be discouraged the first time you come and end up feeling like you didn't get your money's worth. You'll learn through experience. (A trick I've learned is to stick the broccoli in the circles formed by the meat, which will create more space for other things.) I noticed that this place was newly opened a few months ago? But I tried it for the first time last night. I noticed that they have some Korean dishes on the menu. Anyway, I ordered the House Ramen. It was good but I wish it could have been less spicy. I thought it would be more mild. But it's okay. It was still good. I will never be ordering the Spicy Ramen, though. Service is really good, the guy who was working at the register and also bringing our food out to us was really friendly, the good-natured attitude he has is the kind of stuff that makes me want to return to a place. Second time trying Mongolian bbq! Pretty affordable and tasty overall, I recommend this place. I got a regular bowl with chicken and beef the works and noddles and ALL the sauces (friend told me to do this) Thus I ended up with a very unique flavor but it was pretty delish. I have seen this place for awhile and wanted to try it, but just hadn't been able to. These were my problems 1. Bowl to fill is smaller than most places. 2. Most of the produce appeared to not be fresh and confirmed this when I started eating. 3. The cook did the sauce. He asked if I wanted mild or spicy. I told him mild. The sauce with the red flakes in it was insane, my food was spicy as BEEP. I don't mind spicy food, but when I don't want it and the place charges extra for drink refills...don't give me spicy. 4. Worst one - place was infested with flies. I was battling them whole time I was eating inside their restaurant. On a positive the cashier and cook were very social and cool in my book. You have two options, the regular or large bowl. I find the regular to be a great portion for only $8.29. The large is $10 something. You choose your choice of chicken, beef, pork, or a combination of those. Then choose veggies and the sauce. I once got medium and it was too spicy for me, I like to get mild and then add siracha sauce, for the perfect level of spicy-ness. Probably one of the bette Mongolian places around here. Simple choices: regular or large and combo or not. You choose the meats and veggies and they put on the sauces and noodles at the end for you. Having never read the reviews before coming here, I came in with basically a blank slate with a curiosity to try out this place. Where to start? The interior is a bit gloomy and dark. There is a high definition television and the place is geared towards having you sit down and eat. For a Mongolian BBQ place, the selection was somewhat limited to chicken, pork, and beef. Vegetable selection is limited to onions, cabbage, green onions, carrots, and mushrooms. For vegetarians, there is tofu as well. You can get other stuff like Bibimbap and Ramen, although I did not try either on my visit. Because I didn't know you should stack as much as you can, I ordered the standard regular entree. The person manning the grill was nice enough to recommend a specific combination of sauces and spices to try out. What came out looked delicious, if a bit small. From the way the cook worked, you can tell he was a bit passionate about what he did. I don't like the pricing ($7+ for the smallest order you can get), but the food definitely is good. I consider it better than most mall establishments but as a whole, this place is one of those places where you can consider, but if there is a better alternative, then you should go for it. read more
