If you're into floral, smooth teas, the Midnight Jasmine milk tea is a must try! I'd recommend getting it at 50% sweet. The Citrus Emerald Oolong is another favorite of mine if you're looking for more of a fruit tea drink. What really surprised me is the food. You can grab fries for $5 and popcorn chicken for $6, which feels like a steal these days. They do the popcorn chicken and fries in a variety of flavors too. The vibes here are on point. I usually come here to hang out with friends and play some card games. They have a whole selection of board and card games you can borrow. I've seen many people come here to study as well. I ordered the midnight jasmine milk tea, not knowing what it was exactly, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I found out it is made with peruvian purple corn which gives it a beautiful lavender color and a delicate taste. I would come back again for it. I got the popcorn chicken and the oolong tea no sweet with osmanthus jelly. I thought it was perfect as the jelly is naturally sweet which adds flavor to the unsweetened tea. We stopped in for lunch and tried the Popcorn Chicken with three kinds of seasoning: Salt & Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and Rotisserie Chicken. They were all good, but we especially loved the Garlic Parmesan. It took the chicken from great to excellent! We're usually low-carb eaters so we don't drink milk teas or boba drinks, but they had hot teas so we decided to try the Blooming Green Tea Pot and the Flower Tea Pot. Both were good, though the Blooming Green Tea was a bit more earthy and savory. They included a little pitcher of honey and spoons on the side to sweeten the tea. The midnight jasmine green tea is really unique because they use a blue Peruvian corn, which I've never seen anywhere else before! The service was great, and there's plenty of seating! Soo happy we stumbled upon this place. Visited twice in the last two weeks already! Great place for studying with plentiful seating, comfy chairs, free WiFi, and even outlets for charging. They don't make places like this anymore! The drinks were so pretty and tasty too! Great place to study and isn't loud at all so I locked in for a long time here. Theres good Wifi and outlets in every booth. Small business and kind service. The food here is pretty good too and they personally give your order to your table which is very accommodating. Came here on a Sunday early afternoon to get some work done. There was empty tables/ seats, so that was a relief since this place is pretty new. The place is in a small plaza that you can park in. I think parking will generally be easy here. The place is clean. I tried the Jasmine Midnight tea and the Maracuya flower tea (which is passion fruit) and it tasted like it was paired with Chrysanthemum. The Jasmine Midnight tea was a bit too sweet for me. I usually get 50% sweetness, but since it was my first time here, I wanted to go with the regular sweetness to get the full experience! The jasmine flavor was there, but not as strong as I liked because of the sweetness. Next time, I know to adjust the sweetness If you like something tart and floral, the Maracuya tea is right up in your alley. It was tart from the passionfruit, but floral as well. it kinda reminded me of a jamaica tea. Since it was more tart, 100% sweetness actually worked and wasn't too sweet. I think I wasn't used to passionfruit being paired with a floral taste, so it was an interesting experience. The highlight of the experience was the popcorn chicken! The batter was crispy and it came with lots of basil! It came with chili power seasoning on the side and two sauces- ranch and bbq. They were generous with the portion, sauces, and honestly, the price is unbeatable! By 5PM, the place was filled with people and there were no more empty tables. So definitely come earlier if you are looking for a place to study at. read more

Moncha Cafe is such a hidden gem! I've been meaning to stop by as it's so close to me and finally had the chance to. I got their iced ube latte with agar boba and it was refreshing. The latte was a good balance between the ube and coffee and was a nice caffeine fix. I also got an order of popcorn chicken which was delicious. It's fresh, great portion and they actually cook it with basil leaves which a lot of places stopped doing. The inside is very clean and spacious and a great space to do some work in or chill with friends. My only wish would be to have actual boba available as I believe they only offer the agar version. My first experience with this place was a bad one. My wife was craving popcorn chicken and Mr Dragon was closed today. We searched on yelp and found this place recently opened. He sounded unsure why I was calling. I answered back, Hello...?? I paused for a second and asked is this Moncha? He said yes this is. So I said can I place an order? He responded back yes is it going to be for dine in or pick up. In my head I was wondering why anyone would call to place a dine in order. Anyways I responded with pick up. I told him my order and he responded saying uhh let me check if I have enough to make that, uh yea I think we can take your order. I said okay. He responded back with okay. I was waiting for him to ask for my name, number, give me the total, tell me how long, something, but no, he just said okay and that was it. I told my wife the guy on the phone sounded new so not sure how this is going to go. She was really craving popcorn chicken so she didn't want to get something else. She drove over there to go get it and the guy said it would be 20 min. She decided to go pick our daughter up and then head back. It was a little over 20 min when she got back and she had waited another 5 or so minutes. She asked the guy how long would it be and he said it'll be min. The oil is still heating up. My wife responded to just cancel the order because it seemed like it was going to take longer then expected. He then responded saying it has only been 15 min when since she left which was wrong. I found Moncha Cafe by searching matcha initially, and once I saw the decor of this place in the picture, we had to come here!! Their matcha is so good, and they unsweetened coconut milk! And it turned out that their tea and coffee are all really high quality, so it's hard to choose what to order It's very close to my school, and they have free parking and very nice atmosphere with music playing at the volume you can still hear each other!
