I loved everything about Monaco! The decor is stunning. The service welcoming! The staff attentive. And, most importantly, the food delicious! For an appetizer, we selected the Pizza Margherita. The pizza overall was tasty but the crust was the star. For my main or principal, I ordered the Redfish Marsala at the server's suggestion. He mentioned that it gets better with every bite, and he was right! My husband ordered the Pork Chop Piccata, which was likewise tasty. We topped off dinner with a cocktail (which had Miami in the name) and a Dutch beer. Unfortunately, we didn't leave room for dessert. My Moroccan Beef Cheek had just the right amount of coarse salt cutting through the richness. The accompanying quinoa prune salad evokes Moroccan tangine dishes with its citrusy sweetness and spices. Our favourite was the Margherita Pizza which is listed as an appetizer but could also be a satisfying entree. I came here during the soft open, and was immediately impressed by the lovely interior. A perfect place for a great dinner with friends, and intimate enough for a date restaurant. The tartare was decent, although the unfortunate nature of most tartare is the neutrality of flavors, but the portion size was quite large comparatively. The steak frites that I had was delicious, although the amount of french fries was a bit wasteful...it was way too much proportionally speaking. Cocktails were lovely, and the service was good. The service was lovely, the vibes were great, and the drinks were awesome! The food was not all that especially for the price. The lobster bisque was an acquired taste, you get generous chunks of lobster which was nice but it overall wasn't my favorite. One of us thought the bolognese was as great but the other thought it was just pasta and meat sauce. And the petite frites were presented beautifully, but they cook more on the rare side, and the steak needed at least some salt. Overall if you're looking for good vibes and drinks it's a great option, but we weren't blown away by the food. What a cool mix of flavors! I had the cheeseburger (to die for) with the house made chips (EVEN MORE EPIC) for lunch today and couldn't be happier. Ummmmm Happy Hour is from 11am-6pm (24/7) for those who have Mondays off. ;-)))))) The selection is awesome. Locally sourced ingredients for those who care like me. My boyfriend told me about this place when we were working across the street. From then on, would come at least once a week for lunch. Their burger is absolutely outstanding. It is so delicious and was consistently good -- never once did I think "hmm.. this is not as good as last time." If anything -- it always somehow got better. We have since moved across country and the only bad thing I can say about this place is that they have ruined every other burger for me! I don't know if I will ever be able to find another burger that I love as much. I wish doordash delivered across state lines because I think about this cheeseburger probably once a day. Recently, we traveled to San Francisco and made it a point to try SF's "best burger"..... it didn't even hold a candle to Monaco. I decided to come here for my 25th birthday and let me just say this place exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was an older crowd and intimate exactly what I wanted for my 25th birthday. The manager was amazing he checked on my party of 5 three times and provided us with birthday shots. He asked our honest opinion about the steaks and they were slightly over cooked however they were still amazing. To make up they allowed us to pick a dessert to makeup for it. My husband and I stopped in after a long morning of early doctors appointments. We use to work in this area but since Covid are still work from home. We decided to look to see what is new and came across Monaco. Cool area, this place has a nice patio with a view of the water; however, it's 1000 degrees in TX right now alas we dined inside. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We began by sharing a Caesar salad, it was very good with a creamy dressing with a nice acidic bite. The croutons were served warm and they added a bit of Italian herbs and red pepper flakes in the side that you could distribute as you like. The pizza was delicious (I always base my judgement of pizza places on a simple margarita). The crust was chewy and crisp and maintained it's integrity, I cannot stand then they are completely limp, so this was perfect for me. Great quality cheese and the sauce was very good as well. My husband ordered the chicken club, great flavor overall, but it was a little difficult to eat since the bacon and chicken kept pulling completely out with the first bite leaving a veggie sandwich. But the fries were excellent. We will be back perhaps for dinner. read more

It's a very nice setting and cozy with friendly staff, and a great menu. I decided to order 'Pizza Nerano', it sounded really good for my taste with grilled zucchini, red onion, fresh basil, goat cheese, and parmigiano reggiano. Well, to my surprise this is how it was served (pix). After consulting with the nice and not very experienced server he apologized and send the manager over to my table. I asked the manager if he would accept the pizza as served vs their menu description. His answer did not really satisfy my question and so I politely asked to take it back to his chef. Although there was no charge (I tipped the server well) and walked out. And btw myself a former Italian restaurant manager it was a very disappointing experience. Perhaps it will improve and correct this minor but very important lesson, especially for the kitchen staff. Grazie Arrivederci! read more

Been there twice now for lunch and dinner with friends and had a great time. Was met both times by GM David and maitre'd Johnny who were both friendly and helped me navigate around the menu. As the name may incline most dishes are French and Italian inspired with some twists here and there. They also have an extensive wine list so whatever your pick of type or country or vintage they probably have it. David and Johnny were both very knowledgeable about the wines so hit them up if you have any questions. Looks like they change the menu up fairly frequently as they refine and by seasonality - so keep checking as they update the website. My favorites on this menu were the golden beet salad, and the boratta and prosciutto board - both with killer local grilled bread. And the real eye opener on the appetizer menu was the crudité with an anchovie dip. I'm a really foodie and this was a new experience for me. So get with it and don't turn your nose up at the anchovies. Cocktails looked good too but I wasn't able to try them. The pizzas were also better than I expected outside of full time pizzeria. Turns out they have a brick oven hiding out back there in the kitchen and they guys are slinging out some real deal pizzas for lunch and dinner. Just be careful of the one that has the chillito peppers on it. It looks kind of like a pepperocini until it hits your tongue! The chili heads will be all over this one though. Entrees were also impressive as well with the king prawns being my favorite followed by the steaks ans beef cheek. Bone marrow butter = good eating peeps. For lunch the raclette sandwich with prosciutto was a stand out as were the chicken thigh sandwich and double meat smash burger. I heard grumblings too of an Italian style roast beef sandwich that was coming soon but not available yet. I'll be in for that one for sure. Was stuffed but managed a few bites of my buddies creme brule after dinner and it was excellent as well. Anyways overall a great experience with service to match. Ambiance is awesome and when the weather is nicer outside dining looks to be a real winner. Make sure you guys give this place a shot. I think you will be impressed. Easy-E. read more

The food is the best I've ever had, the drinks and staff knowledge for drinks, music, food and ambience (I love the stars and night sky on the ceiling!) is unsurpassed! Such excellent service! Was greeted warmly upon arrival. We were early for our reservation and told we could pretty much sit anywhere we like. We sat in the bar for some well prepared drinks and excellent service . We moved to the main dining room where we were assisted with a great wine selection. We ordered the buratta board. LOVED THIS! we shared a Caspian Pizza and Moroccan beef entre. Both were delicious. Can't wait to return and try the fish! read more

Abysmal service. Was here Saturday night 6/22/24. Waiter was rude and had a bad attitude. He disappeared forever and anytime I asked for something he gave a dirty look and never acknowledged the request. I literally had to ask him multiple times and he would just look away. Very weird behavior. Not a way to treat customers. Food was mediocre and the pasta I ordered was not great. I would have let this slide but the waiter was so bad that I had to make a bad review. Hispanic looking guy with facial hair and tattoos. Don't let him "serve" you. This guy was horrible! read more
