Nothing feels random. A few standouts: the Shrimp and Grits were terrific, the Chicken Pot Pie Fritters were creative without trying too hard, and the Chicken & Waffles absolutely delivered. I also love that the Family Meal Fried Chicken is Bryan Voltaggio's recipe. That kind of connection to a clear point of view matters. A lot of restaurants can make a good dish. Far fewer can build a place where the food, service, atmosphere, and execution all line up. Showroom does that, and Frederick is better for it.

The Chicken pot pie fritters were so good, lovedddddd these! It didn't need the sauce though but it was still a pleasant addition to the fritter. The pimento cheese plate with pickles and biscuit was quite the perfect and delicious pairing. I wouldn't have never thought I'd love the combination! The reuben was absolutely deliciously perfect and the fries that came alongside were fresh and absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with the Mac and cheese either. Very good! I truly loved every single thing we ordered. I was impressed to say the least. Everything was perfectly and thoughtfully flavored. There was nothing that was overpowering. What a delicious and wonderful meal!

It filled up fast, and there was a lively bar crowd, and also an engagement party celebration upstairs. All of the servers were so friendly, and happy to share their favorite dishes and beers, etc. We started with the wings, which were great, and then we had the house salad with salmon and the burger and fries. OK, I did not order the burger and fries, but my boyfriend did, and I ate half the fries on his plate, they were that good! Great, friendly, with generous pours for wine, and just a really friendly, great place with perfect food for a winter day. I wish I could find a place like this in Washington, DC.

The server was great very attentive and patient as we ask lots of questions about the menu. They have a new burger item every week so we all tried that it was a Smashburger with crab on top pretty good and very big. They had an option to upgrade the truffle fries which we did and the fries were great. Would definitely come back if I was ever in town again to try something new.

The place it self is slightly dark, and not too aesthetically pleasing but don't let that deter you! The place was packed and there was a wait during brunch hours, and that's how you know people frequent this spot. The service was excellent, our server was very attentive and friendly. The shrimp and grits were phenomenal. I was so impressed. Very flavorful. I would surely come back to try other food.

Once we arrived we were seated within a couple minutes of arriving, and the waitress was very nice and attentive to our orders and the timing of our meal. The restaurant was very lively with other customers, and it really gave off a café feel with the decor. I ordered a French toast with an orange juice and the French toast was exceptional. It was nice and crisp went outside and fluffy on the inside and a side of bacon eggs were cooked well Also it came with like an apple jam and syrup. I liked the syrup in an apple jam brought a nice sweetness to the French toast if you didn't want to use the syrup. For a brunch spot I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

I heard that this restaurant was nice inside and had a very good Sunday buffet brunch. Called for…read morea reservation around 11:30 am and got a table for 12:45pm. I am so glad we came. The building is large with plenty of parking. It has a medieval-vibe from the outside, although there's a plaque inside the front door saying the building was built in 2000. Once inside, it's fairly dark and continues with the old-mansion type atmosphere. There are lots of items hanging from the walls, older portrait photos, chandeliers, etc. very cool space. We were told at the front desk to go upstairs for the brunch (there is an elevator!). Once upstairs, we were greeted and sat in a corner table for two. The placement of the table was perfect, as there were a lot of families there for brunch, and I felt like we were being given an opportunity for more quiet. I noticed that the layout of the room placed tables for two and other smaller tables toward the outside. The server greeted us warmly and explained where things were and invited us to get started. The food: outstanding. The crab dip was thick from cheese and full of crab. The Maryland crab soup (didn't try the cream one) was full of crab and veggies, and the broth was flavorful. The salad was fresh, the chicken and salmon were both well prepared and delicious and the crab omelette was full from crab. There's also the traditional breads, eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. They all looked good, but I didn't take them seriously with all the other foods there. I went to get prime rib snd was given a huge piece freshly sliced. Outstanding. The outside was seasoned perfectly and the inside was moist and flavorful. You can get creamy horseradish, horseradish alone and au jus, which you serve yourself. The desserts included some pies (including key lime), cooked apples, brownies and there's fresh fruit at the salad bar. Service: Outstanding. Our server kept our water glasses, iced tea snd coffee filled and took our plates promptly. Bloody Mary - was $1 and I think it's a darn good Bloody Mary. Not fancy, but tasty. We came here looking for a new place to go for buffet brunch. We live over a half hour away, but do plan to come back for other occasions. It's a nice atmosphere with a very classy vibe, but good for families. Everybody seemed to be having a good time and enjoying themselves. And the service was excellent. The brunch ain't cheap (it's $46.95 per person), but there's outstanding prime rib, a real crab dip and two types of legit crab soups, along with other entrees (the salmon was so soft and flavorful - I was jealous because I can never get mine with such great texture), as well as traditional breakfast fare and a salad bar. Worth a visit. The restaurant's regular menu looks pricy, and some of the items on the regular menu are available on the buffet (prime rib, crab dip, crab soups, the chicken and the salmon).

Chicken fingers covered in deli ham smothered in gooey cheese with asparagus on top. Sounds good maybe if the chicken were prepared somewhat specially and not tough. Deli ham? You're kidding right? And the cheese; maybe it was American cheese spread or cheese whip. But the asparagus was nicely done. And it came with a twice baked potato and veggies that I would rate good. But the bad out weights the good. Preceding this was a forgettable salad of iceberg lettuce, carrots, and croutons. The best part of the meal were the rolls and butter and the water. I won't be back.
