Hard to not buy a goodie (or 2 or 3....!) to accompany your coffee or tea! I drove out to Lovettsville for the first time ever to check out Willows Vintage Charm, a super cute antique vintage goods shop walking distance from BSB (highly recommend!). It was a Tuesday around 11AM and I was iso a morning cup o' joe and never interested in a nearest Sbux if I can at all help it - BINGO, Back Street Brews saved the day! Wish I had had time to sit and sip - the weather that morning was glorious. The little town of Lovettsvillle is SO cute, out in the country, simple and quiet, surrounded by mountains where time feels like it slows to half or quarter time. Lucky you, I'm jealous, if you live out there in God's country - truly! The shop has a cool outdoor seating area on the side and also in the (outside) front of the shop as well as inside, there's a back room with seating. Check out my pics. Prices are WAY reasonable, there's a wide variety of latte options including a seasonal drink menu and lots of syrup flavors. Service is exceptional and my drink (a hot cherry vanilla latte!) was delicious! Piping hot and bold (not wimpy weak!), just the way I like my coffee drinks! I couldn't resist picking up a few housemade baked goodies to take home with me - they looked too temptingly delicious there in the case not to. I was told they aren't baked there in-house but are made locally and brought in. Good enough for me to call fresh baked! They were delicious and beautifully individually wrapped in cellophane. I took a bunch of pics and a vid, including menu sign boards and prices - check 'em all out - you'll see what I mean by super cute, quaint and charming. If you're in Lovettsville or passing by, definitely stop in - SO WORTH IT!

The converted church space gives it real character, and the atmosphere is warm without trying too hard. The staff were friendly, quick to engage, and kept things moving even with a steady crowd. Bonus: live local musicians doing a pick up session! Food and coffee both landed well. Vegetarian friendly, fresh, balanced, and clearly made with care. It's the kind of spot where you can settle in for a quiet hour, meet someone for a casual lunch, or for C&O cyclists, refuel with a solid drink and good service.

The biscuits and gravy are quite good, and the pricing is very reasonable. I was surprised the Mexican Coca-Cola was not cold, but they were kind to offer a cup of ice. The lemon meringue pie was fantastic, but it could always use more lemon. As were the chocolate twists, which were like twisted croissants. The prices are very reasonable! Be sure to tip, because even though you walk up the place you order, they do bring it to your table. With the good prices tipping makes perfect sense here. Comfortable chairs, chill vibe, 90s music, gorgeous bathrooms, and a selection of food, drink, and libations, I am very much a new fan.

You can really taste the quality in their breads and pastries -- flaky, buttery croissants, perfectly balanced sweets, and savory options that are just as impressive. Nothing feels mass-produced; it all tastes thoughtfully crafted and homemade. They open early and close once they sell out, which says a lot about how popular they are. If you want the best selection, definitely plan to arrive right when they open. Be prepared for a long line -- but don't let that discourage you. The line moves fairly quickly, and the quality is 100% worth the wait. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during busy times. Overall, an amazing local bakery that lives up to the hype. I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Line wraps around the creek so highly recommend getting there early if you're going on a weekend, or swing by on a weekday and grab your favorite treat. Will definitely be back!

This place is just stunning...the dining area, stairs with positive messages, the ordering/"shopping", even the bathroom! The service is just exceptional, above and beyond. It was a seameless process to make the reservation online and edit as needed. There were automatic emails and texts for the reservation confirmation and reminder. Each afternoon tea includes 2 pots of tea, 1 macaron/person, and additional bites (savory & sweet). Luckily, there were 2 of us, so we each ordered our own teas. I'm not sure how flexible they are if requesting additional tea pots for larger parties (max 8 people). The weekdays tea is $35/person, weekends $40/person (needs a reservation). There is an 18% gratuity to all the final bill regardless of the number of people in the party. I would highly recommend the Thai tea...I don't add any sugar or cream to my tea and it was still so tasty. I ordered the coconut macaron, which is the newest addition the the macaron family. Parking: there is parallel parking available in front of and around the establishment. There is also a parking garage roughly 1 block (walking distance), which is free on the weekends. If planning a visit on the weekdays, be sure to read the parking signs carefully. I would definitely return to try other items on their menu.

The ice cream flavors were very unique which was a nice surprise. Towards the back of the store they have a lot of cute toys and accessories for kids. They kept bringing them the cutest trays of desserts and tea. Sitting inside is very limited, only a couple of tables but they also have a patio with more tables and chair and a play house for kids. The ice cream was very yummy and served very cute- with a purple cone and a macaroon! My girls thought this place was awesome.
