The converted church space gives it real character, and the atmosphere is warm without trying too hard. The staff were friendly, quick to engage, and kept things moving even with a steady crowd. Bonus: live local musicians doing a pick up session! Food and coffee both landed well. Vegetarian friendly, fresh, balanced, and clearly made with care. It's the kind of spot where you can settle in for a quiet hour, meet someone for a casual lunch, or for C&O cyclists, refuel with a solid drink and good service.

This spot is located in the "city center" of Brunswick. Parking is plentiful, and I got a spot a block up. I had a schedule to keep, so I just got an iced coffee to go, but I loved taking in the decor of the place. It was a sunny day and the light was streaming through the stained glass windows. There is a food menu and some baked goods, though I didn't get anything to eat. There are also cute little stickers, magnets, keychains etc. advertising the area and the C&O towpath that a lot of bikers like to ride. If I lived nearby, this would definitely be a regular place to meet up with friends. It's a really unique spot!

"Good beer, great atmosphere, but horrible and overpriced food."…read more Me and my bestie aka my girlfriend love to travel and we often will stay in a cool town that has several breweries all around it and this place happens to be one that we stopped in while having a mini getaway together. I've been to Brunswick several times in my life and I've always loved the town so I was excited to see someone put a brewery in since the last time I had been there. We stopped in on an early Saturday evening and it was pretty busy because they had live music which was good. We walked right up to the counter and I ordered: - ROYGBIV Power Sour 5/5 - Bar Room Hero Hazy IPA 5/5 We then proceeded to grab a table outside and enjoy our beers while listening to the music and watching all the people enjoy themselves too while we laughed and had good conversation. We hadn't ate much all day so we decided to get something light to eat. My girlfriend walked up to the counter and ordered us a hot dog and Brie with Jam and Pita. The hot dog was decent but the Brie and chips were disgusting to say the least. The price for the Brie was even more disgusting than it tasted for a very small wheel of store bought stale tasting cheese and even staler chips, yikes! I love the building, its history, the whole layout, and vibes of this brewery, but I'd never order food from here again. EVER! Will I come back to have more beers the next time I am in the area, probably but I won't go out of my way, that's for sure.

TLDR: Nice pastries, good coffee…read more Food & Drinks (4/5): The cinnamon sugar bun looked crispy, but it was soft and delicious. The sweet peach scone barely had any peach, was dry (as scones usually are), and could have used more flavor. The cold brew coffee was excellent and packed about 300 mg of caffeine. Regular coffee is self-serve from a pitcher, and the cold brew came in a can from the fridge. We tried to order four pastries, but one was sold out and another was forgotten, so we only ended up with two. They had a wide variety of both savory and sweet treats, including options with squash and a berry tart that looked great. Prices were: coffee $4, cinnamon sugar bun $5.25, Continuum Coffee Nitro Cold Brew $5, and sweet peach scone $5. Service (4/5): The staff was very friendly, just a little forgetful. Ambiance (3/5): The café is very small inside. There is a glass display case where you choose your items, staff picks them out, and then you check out. Seating is limited to four small tables outside, each with only two chairs. Unfortunately, a family of eight with a poorly behaved dog and three kids took over the entire space while we were there. We ended up pulling a table to the side so we could sit separately.

With a group to feed, I bought one of pretty much everything they had, all of which disappeared quickly on delivery. The items I secured for myself were sweet, yet hearty. An impressive variety of flavors was available for a small shop. This is the kind of place that rotates the menu based on availability and I didn't see all the things they had pictures of online, but it seems to me this is just a reason to come back another time.

I use several Weis stores in the area and usually have no issues except with the Brunswick store. There is ALWAYS a problem. Fist time, when I got my groceries, two bags of groceries that I paid for were missing. I called the store and somehow the associate knew exactly what I was missing. He offered to have them ready for pickup in 510 minutes. I had to send my person over a second time. Then there was still about $20 of groceries missing so I complained on the corperate website. Generic E-mail from the assistant manager and there would be a $20 gift card for me that needed to be picked up in the store. Finally they agreed to mail it to me, very rude store manager and of course the gift card could only be redeemed in the store. Second time, when I got my groceries again there were groceries missing like eggs, but this time I was not charged for them so I let it go. Third time, I ordered online, 24 items and 7 items were missing. I had my person go in the store and all these missing items were available in the store. Complained to corporate again and this time no answer from the store at all. They don't seem to care at all. So if you rely on grocery pickup, do NOT order at thi store. Their pickup service is terrible and the store management could not care less and is rude. Go somewhere else.

LOL, I'm just kidding, when visiting we have to go to Brunswick or Frederick just to shop because Lovettsville is so behind that there isn't anywhere to shop there. Nothing against Lovettsville, but man, get a Dollar General or something for your residents. Seriously, if you want a Dollar General Store just hit me up, I work at the corporate office and they will put them anywhere you want, it costs next to nothing. It never fails that whenever I travel I get sick, it's either allergies or just my body unable to cope with the air outside of my hole in Nashville. Whatever it is, I always plan to get some meds when traveling. Just so happens I heard of this brand spankin new Walgreens in Brunswick behind the Roy Rogers and always the eager traveler I said "Let's go, I need some meds!" and we went. As with most new stores it was shiny and clean. everything in its place and associates to greet you as you came in. Now in my home area we have Walgreens all over the place, it didn't dawn on me that it's not the same here until much later. There was an associate helping a man sign up for the rewards so he could get the lower price and I just typed my number in, like whoopty doo! Ya'll are gonna love this much better than the Rite-Aid that was here before, trust me. **Side Note, I wish I had visited the new Dollar Tree in the same center, it's another thing that you don't see much of here but all over the place at home. Great store guys. :-)
