Many people avoid pork for religious reasons, and dismissing that concern is unacceptable. Accuracy and transparency with ingredients are basic expectations, especially when it comes to meat. We got a few baked good we got silvana was good. The biko was gods cooked well the sweetness was balanced. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The vibe was chill. But that doesn't outweigh the impact of being misled about what I was eating. Trust is broken, and I won't be returning. Gwenies need to train their staff and they need to clearly label meats and take customer concerns seriously especially when religion and dietary restrictions are involved. So when shopping at YES organic Hyattsville today, I was prepared to pass by the tres leches cake sample. But it looked so moist, I gave in. OMG, I am so glad that I did. Best! Cake! Ever! It is very moist & creamy. Best of all, it is not overly sweet, as many tres leches cakes can be. Put simply: perfectly balanced!!
