The new and improved Mom's Kitchen is a fantastic experience. The cheery, diner style vibe is very welcoming and it is fun to see all the pictures of mom's, grandma's, families, & friends lining the walls. The food was great, one of the best country fries steaks we've ever had. Service was prompt and very friendly. We look forward to eating here often!

Vintage photos of a mom and her daughter were on the shelf near my table.

Worst waffle ever, thick and rubbery. Biscuits and gravy was good. Cheap prices, will try again. No waffles though.

I found a hair in my food about halfway though the meal and was sick to my stomach for the rest of the day. I will never eat her again!

What a great experience for breakfast - the owner is a joy and the food was delicious. Best omelet I've had.

Happy Easter everyone!…read more Today, my daughter and I went out to breakfast here at Sweetpeas. It is located off the freeway on the corner of Bowman and Luther roads. There was plenty of parking when we pulled in. As you walk in, you seat yourself. I hadn't been here before, but my daughter has. When we sat down (table and chairs kinda place), one server got us a couple of waters while we were looking over the menu.. perfect, because that's what we love to drink. After we decided on what we wanted I got a chance to look around at the decor on the walls. It felt very family friendly with baby pictures on the walls, signs, coffee mugs along the restaurants name spelled out on the wall. It was very cute and cozy. My daughter ordered the Carnitas Omelet (Carnitas omelet with jack cheese, black beans, red onions, avocado, and black olives, topped with sour cream. Served with sourdough toast and fresh fruit) with strawberries. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero's with eggs over medium (Corn tortillas, refried beans, 2 eggs, sour cream, avocado, homemade salsa, and cheese cheese. Also served with a side of salsa.) We didn't wait long, it arrived within 10 minutes. Also, after smelling their delicious coffee, I had to have a cup! A+!!!! My daughter let me try her Carnitas Omelet. Their Carnitas is on point! It was tender and has great flavor! Her omelet was beautifully cooked, being that it was gorgeous, yellow and fluffy. My Huevos Ranchero's was crispy in the bottom as I requested. I love the topping of avocado. The only thing I would change is to get all the salsa on the side. There was quite a bit on the Huevos Ranchero's themselves and it was a little overwhelming. Next time, I'll order it completely on the side. The menu has it listed as homemade... it tasted a little bit like it was Pace chunky salsa. I didn't even touch the side of salsa that also comes in the side and I wasn't sure what the extra side of tortillas was for, but I took those home. My daughter took home about half of her 3 egg omelet and some toast. Maddy was a great server. Everyone helped each other out by doing coffee refills for all tables (not just their own), running out hot food, and helping clean up tables as people finished their plates. Great team work! We paid up in the front and we're on our way. BE SURE TO TIP YOUR SERVER FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK!

I just discovered this place last week when I visited Auburn to take a jewelry class right around…read morethe corner from this coffee shop. The class instructor recommended this coffee shop to us and I'm glad I took his direction because the drinks and food at The Pour Choice were top notch and reasonably priced. We actually ended up eating here twice within 2 days because we loved it so much! In addition to the food/drinks, the ambience here is amazing as well. They have a second floor balcony that you can go eat or enjoy your beverages on. Felt pretty epic being up there :-) I'm heading back to Auburn tomorrow where I will be stopping in for another visit :-)

The Arnold Palmer peach tea was refreshing. And the wrap was simple.... Well.... Delicious! I mean I could eat that wrap everyday twice a day!! I'm beginning to understand why they are so busy. The price point is on the higher side but the quality is excellent. Note parking on the weekends are a premium, just relax, find a parking spot somewhere else and walk over, you won't be disappointed. ;-)

This place is amazing. 6/5 starts. So delicious!!!!!…read more Breakfast sandwich, muffin, cookies, pastries, croissant. All amazingly delicious. Oh man the cinnamon roll. I am honestly disgusted by the way Holly treated us. I was there in person to pick up a birthday…read morecake my sister had already purchased, only to find out they had given it away to someone else. What should have been a simple mistake turned into an absolutely horrible experience because of Holly's attitude. She was incredibly rude, passive-aggressive, and NEVER once apologized for THEIR mistake. When I asked for her name, she made sure to announce that she was a supervisor, but I think she was just a b****. What kind of supervisor makes a comment about pulling a chocolate cake out of her a** in front of customers? I genuinely couldn't believe what I was hearing. The worst part wasn't even that they gave away the cake. It was how little Holly seemed to care. There was no empathy, no accountability, and absolutely no professionalism. She acted as though we were the problem when all we wanted was the cake my sister had already paid for. I have worked with people long enough to know that mistakes happen, but there is absolutely no excuse for treating customers this way. I hope the owners seriously reconsider who they have representing their business because Holly's behavior was embarrassing and completely unacceptable.

Lots of selections for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…read more Friendly, helpful server who checked on us regularly. Food was plentiful. My husband thought the chicken was a bit overcooked and not very meaty. Decent side salad. Mixed veggies weren't overcooked. Chef salad had tons of meat in it. Cornbread muffin was yummy. They are famous due to its iconic appearances in pop culture, primarily the classic movie American Graffiti (immortalizing its 1950s drive-in vibe) and the 1970s TV show Alice (creating the "Kiss my grits" catchphrase), cementing its status as a nostalgic American landmark with multiple locations and theme park presence. Lots of memorabilia and they even have small jukeboxes on each table. Stepping into the Original Mel's was like stepping back in time. The menu has lots of choices, from full breakfast items to complete dinners. I opted for breakfast. I order the Wolfman (shoutout to Wolfman Jack, American disc jockey). My breakfast consisted of two eggs (cooked to order), hash browns, two pancakes, warm syrup, two strips of bacon, slice of breakfast ham and one sausage patty. Breakfast was good but my only complaint would be that my pancakes were rubbery (basically I needed a knife to cut it). I would eat here again. Our service was on point and efficient. Restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. Plenty of parking. The ambiance was casual and it was a bit loud.
