Food here is awfully goooodd!!! Too may choices & I would like to try''em all!!! The bacon flight, french toast & Bloody Mary is a must here. All servers are nice & friendly. They have enough space, no lines for us tofay but people come and go and the crowd started to pile up when we left.

Conveniently located right off the 80, (you can't miss the sign), Awful Annies has been serving homemade cooking for years. easily accessible off the freeway coming from both directions and lots of parking situated all around the restaurant (mostly in the back lot). Don't be surprised if it's full, that means it's that good, and it's worth the wait. Restaurant has expanded even more, with a huge new additional dining area (since my last visit in 2020). Known for their Bloody Marys, try one of their speciality flavors. Standard American Breakfast/ Lunch options with love and passion you can taste. FYI- very familiar with GF/Celiac and can easily accommodate any changes needed. If you are hungry, choose Annie's, you'll leave full due to the great portions you get.

Food was great, lots of interesting stuff on the menu plus traditional breakfast or lunch food too. I had an omelette with spinach and mushrooms and Brie cheese! It was so good and I had it with fruits instead of potatoes. The fruits were super fresh! My friend had an egg scramble with sausage and some Veggies and it was good and tasted good as well. We had fresh baked biscuits which came with home made jam!!! Service was excellent, our girl game by several times to check on us. This restaurant has a nice country like vibe and warm and cozy. It was so busy on a rainy day! Must be a local favorite!

Go breakfast or indulgent or go home. The Cobb was fine, pricy for $17 since it was a tad bit basic, but the eggs and sandwiches looked like the move. Hi-five for the kids menu with crayons. The place was deceivingly big and service was lovely. On a chilly winter morning, the seated us by the fire, alongside a bar area playing sports. A lot of patrons (both seemingly locals and travelers) were enjoying bloody Mary's, so seemingly they make some good cocktails. While I went lunch, my husband's biscuit was buttery and perfect with the sweet jam. Overall, a solid pit stop on 80, if you need to sit and refuel the bellies with hearty fare. It's a bit over priced, especially for the area, but it still works!

Good old time dinner feel to this breakfast spot in Auburn by Ikeda's County Market. Little woman and I wisly choose to split the Parmesan crusted grilled cheese (w bacon) Eggs Benedict. Whoa, carbo eggy Bacon, crunchy sourdough, holidase sauce ladden sandwich extravaganza. Plenty for both of us. Served with potatoes. Ordered a side cup of fresh fruit that was chocked full of strawberries, black berries, pineapple to offset the cholesterol from the main dish. They close after lunch at 2:30pm Service was quick and attentive. We were treated to a shot glass of their house made Bloody Mary mix, that went quite well when mixed with the catsup to augment the country potatoes.

As friendly as staff can be when totally swamped (and It was our bad for sauntering in on a Saturday for breakfast). We typically know better but we were feeling adventurous and went for it. Seated fairly quickly, drink orders taken, and food ordered shortly thereafter. Carne Asada Benedict for my kid and a Mini-breakfast for me. It took about 45 for the food to arrive after ordering. Kid loved his dish and mine ...it wasn't too bad (pictured). The saving grace of mine was that my son got his avocado on the side and I snatched it up. I think the highlight of the meal might have been seeing on the receipt that you can pay by scanning the QR code. Thoroughly impressed. How has every restaurant not adopted this option yet!? Believe me, I didn't want to wait any longer than we already had.

About three weeks ago my husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our way to Reno. We had not been here in many years but I remembered how good it was. This time we we ordered the mexi scramble with a homemade biscuit. It was delicious!! My husband had a make your own omelet with toast. He loved his meal as well. Our was attentive and kind. We are already planning to go back in October. This place is comfortable, clean, and a fun stop! Highly recommend.

The only Awful thing about the eatery is the name. The food, the employees, the prices and the roomy layout is all wonderful. Change the name to Wonderful Annie's. Bambie, me and the three Labrador retrievers came for breakfast. Plenty of room for the dogs to nestle next to our table while tied to the fence railing. I ate the 2+2+2+2. $15.99. As the title implies it's 2 eggs, 2 pieces of french toast, 2 strips of bacon, 2 kinds of fruit (2 wedges of pineapple, two wedges of cantalope). Plenty of food for a big appetite. Tasty. I cleaned the plate. Bambie wanted less food. She did a la carte. Just one egg, 2 strips bacon, toast and the same fruit. We enjoyed the meal, the friendly and attentive service. As the restaurant was only 1/2 full on a Friday morning we lingered and relaxed. Definitely return worthy.

We were passing through the area on our way home from Reno. We had our dog with us so even though it was a hot day (90s) we sat on the porch. We were promptly seated with a bowl of fresh water for the pup. We were well cared for with great hospitality and checked on frequently. We had: banana + pecans waffle, salmon eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak. Yum! We'll be back again!

Irish coffeefull bar available & White Russian drink The bacon flight was delicious, loved the jalapeño flavored one the best!! $7.99 Next the pastrami deli was delicious and with a wall with hot sauces really made the sandwich I did the 2+2+2=good, 2 eggs, 2 bacon , fruit and either French toast, regular or cinnamon or pancakes. Our particular server was not very attentive and after our Irish coffee it would have been nice to have at least a water brought over. Overall worth the stop as the food and drinks are definitely delicious!!! Plenty or parking and seating. Restrooms were clean.

Absolutely loved this place and will definitely stop here again on our way home from Reno. The place was packed but accommodates many. Food was great and plenty of it! French dip practically melted in my mouth!!

If your expectations are set correctly, this place is awesome. This is a breakfast place on the upper outskirts of Auburn. Easy freeway access. The vibe is Country Kitchen. Country kitchens are homey and well worn. That is what this place is. Service was great. Very nice person. Food came out quickly and hot. The food was a B+ to B- depending on what was ordered. The Chicken Sandwich, Veggie Scrabble and the Florentine Benedict were all good. The Mexican Scrabble on the specials menu was kind of a mess

The bread pudding that unfortunately wasn't a hit for my party.

I ordered a vegetarian omlette with fruit, and received a huge plateful of food. Everything was fresh, especially the fruit which had a variety and not the usual sad melon. The omelet was stuffed with nicely cooked veggies and covered with more. My SO and brother also ordered omelets stuffed with various meats and crisp potatoes, also delicious. Coffee was average but plentiful. Alright why is this not a 5 star given the food is amazing? The service is terrible. I believe it "might" be the owner, but it is run by an angry, scowling rude woman who shouts orders to her staff. Ownership entitlement does not suit her well. I could not believe this person was even working, they were so disgruntled and gave the small restaurant a dark vibe. I truly felt bad for the young staff bustling around. I would eat here again because everything we ordered was delicious and the kitchen is clearly talented, but expect zero niceties or friendly banter. It definitely ruins the overall ambiance and I am not the first person to note this. Tip, order the potatoes they are season perfectly.

Happy Easter everyone!…read more Today, my daughter and I went out to breakfast here at Sweetpeas. It is located off the freeway on the corner of Bowman and Luther roads. There was plenty of parking when we pulled in. As you walk in, you seat yourself. I hadn't been here before, but my daughter has. When we sat down (table and chairs kinda place), one server got us a couple of waters while we were looking over the menu.. perfect, because that's what we love to drink. After we decided on what we wanted I got a chance to look around at the decor on the walls. It felt very family friendly with baby pictures on the walls, signs, coffee mugs along the restaurants name spelled out on the wall. It was very cute and cozy. My daughter ordered the Carnitas Omelet (Carnitas omelet with jack cheese, black beans, red onions, avocado, and black olives, topped with sour cream. Served with sourdough toast and fresh fruit) with strawberries. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero's with eggs over medium (Corn tortillas, refried beans, 2 eggs, sour cream, avocado, homemade salsa, and cheese cheese. Also served with a side of salsa.) We didn't wait long, it arrived within 10 minutes. Also, after smelling their delicious coffee, I had to have a cup! A+!!!! My daughter let me try her Carnitas Omelet. Their Carnitas is on point! It was tender and has great flavor! Her omelet was beautifully cooked, being that it was gorgeous, yellow and fluffy. My Huevos Ranchero's was crispy in the bottom as I requested. I love the topping of avocado. The only thing I would change is to get all the salsa on the side. There was quite a bit on the Huevos Ranchero's themselves and it was a little overwhelming. Next time, I'll order it completely on the side. The menu has it listed as homemade... it tasted a little bit like it was Pace chunky salsa. I didn't even touch the side of salsa that also comes in the side and I wasn't sure what the extra side of tortillas was for, but I took those home. My daughter took home about half of her 3 egg omelet and some toast. Maddy was a great server. Everyone helped each other out by doing coffee refills for all tables (not just their own), running out hot food, and helping clean up tables as people finished their plates. Great team work! We paid up in the front and we're on our way. BE SURE TO TIP YOUR SERVER FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK!
