Tried this place for the first time. Hard going here with Joe Caribe still fresh in my mind, but I can't hold that against new blood. I was disappointed they turned Joes into a Pizza Factory, but encouraged by the prospect of a unique burger place. And I think that's what they provided. Still looks like Joes bar, comfortable and inviting. Bar tender / waitress was pleasant and talkative. We sat at the bar. Great beer selection with some mondo big beers (32oz) for about $12. My wife and I tried a few different things to get a feel for it. Pickle chips- yummy Sweet potato tots- very sweet and I loved the sauce Burger- delicious but I think it will be controversial Explanation- it's a small burger, as you will see in some of the other comments, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in quality (as with most things in life). It's wagyu beef and very well seasoned and prepared. We have places in town that make great burgers that are big (best is club car in my opinion), but this is just a better quality burger, and that's what they're going for. Give it try. Ale house started with wagyu beef but reverted back I think because it's just not popular enough to pay the upgrade. If you want a burger and fries, most people are looking for a full belly and a beer to wash it down. But I hope they at least keep it on the menu, even if they do have to eventually dumb it down to stay afloat. Bottom line, definitely worth a try or two.

Fish tacos! The Brewster's burger was gone before I took the photo, lol. I shared my last taco.

We went to Brewster's to have dinner and listen to music. My boyfriend had the Brewster Burger. I had the fish tacos. Both meals were good. Enjoyed the drinks and the live music.

We came in for the taco special on Tuesday, 2 tacos and a pint for $10. Carly was a big help advising us what to get and gave us many options for my wife that has dietary restrictions.

Food is a 5 and ambience is a 4! Power wash front patio it's dirty . Plus when you walk in all you smell is pizza . The burger , fries , onion rings and tater tots are really good . The kids chicken tenders are just okay and our son loved his root beer lol . Service good .

Going to be brutally honest here... you can tell they have come in with good intentions for a fun place to frequent for patrons with huge tv's big bar and even a small stage, I assume for live music one day and with a bar style feel good quick bites food. I get they are a new business with bumps and curbs but that wasn't quite it. there was a stale feeling and dullness inside. First off the waitress although, nice was extremely mono tone and at times forgot items & told us it was her first day and I'm think wow how did they already loose employees this early on whole open and had to rehire. Waitress didn't check in much either with us. Even upon leaving she was no where to be found for us to even say thank you too or her thank us for coming. My other disappointment was all the "owners" were in the back kitchen area and you'd see one pop out for the restroom or check on something but not once did they take the time to say to us "welcome to our restaurant" or "thank you for coming how did you like it." Which for a new business in a small town is very warming to connect with and feel welcome and appreciated as customer to want to return. Now the food. I agree the burger was perfectly cooked and flavorful and I don't even like burgers but ate the entire thing. That was the only good thing about our meals. The portions are EXTREMELY small especially for the price. The burger is the size of a Jr burger and my super super small salad as my side choice. Ranch dressing and salad although were fresh and too just horribly small amount. The kids grilled cheese was way over priced and came out unmelted so we sent it back. Again very small portions yet still a high price. The fish and chips were the worst!!! You get two small unflavored pieces of brown looking fish inside (cheap) and a even smaller than a kids plate of fries with it. Unfortunately, based on the prices, lack of ambiance's, and over priced portions I won't be back and will spend the same amount of money for larger guaranteed goodness supporting another local favorite burger spot. Oh and the last thing I found odd was they have a fancy looking bar containing not even one open bottle. and the waitress didn't even make the drinks and went next door in the shared building pizza place to get their drink. That was odd. I wish them luck but I just don't think they'll ever blow up like other excellent local spots but they may get lucky with hungry hotel guest behind them here & there.

Nice staff, fast service, but the fish 'n chip were ridiculously salty, and the beer was flat.

Extremely disappointed in this establishment. Food was disgusting and the price gouging is insane. It's not worth it.

Great atmosphere to watch a sports game, w/ TVs 360 degrees around the venue. Was greeted and seated immediately and the food came very quick after ordering. The staff were also incredibly friendly and on it. Like when I ordered a burger, our waitress noticed the ketchup container was near empty. So she immediately replaced it w/ a full container before the food arrived. It's the little things that make the big things matter :) I really enjoyed the NorCal Burger. A Cheesburger w/ good portions of avocado and bacon added. My friends also enjoyed their classic burger and the spicy BBQ burger. But I was able to steal some of my friend's onion rings and that was the real MVP.

We waited about 5 minutes at the front door before anyone greeted us. The hostess eventually came out from the back and apologized for the delay as she seated us. The manager was visible behind the bar but seemed unaware of the flow in the restaurant. With the dining area half full, there was just one server on the floor. After being seated, we waited another 8 minutes without anyone stopping by to greet us or bring water. Other customers around us were also experiencing long waits for service and food. A small crowd started forming at the entrance with no additional staff coming up to help, while the manager continued helping at the bar. Look, sports bars don't need to be fancy, but basic competence matters. This place had zero urgency, zero accountability, and zero care for customers. The manager's total disconnection from what was happening in the restaurant was especially frustrating. It felt like the team was understaffed and stretched thin, and there wasn't much proactive attention given to guests. I'd suggest trying another spot if you're looking for a reliable experience.

Lisa Ford, the co-owner, went above and beyond in every possible way. She designed a menu within our budget, created a customized bar menu, and she and her amazing team decorated, cooked, served, and made the patio feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. They truly handled everything with such care and excellence. We were able to play our own customized Spotify playlist on the back patio for a fun Yacht Rock Friday night feeling, and their IT/AV support, Randy, helped us play a personalized video of the couple on the patio TV throughout the evening. It made the night feel even more personal and special. The food was truly the chef's kiss, the beer by Brian Ford, co-owner and brewmaster, was incredible, and the service was outstanding. Trista and the wait staff were fun, attentive, and made our guests feel so well taken care of. One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our son and daughter-in-love so happy and surrounded by incredible family and friends who enjoyed honoring and celebrating them. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were. Auburn Alehouse is family-owned, community-forward, and an incredible craft brewpub. It is a wonderful place for private events, date nights, gatherings, celebrations, or simply a great meal with great beer.
