IMO the masala paneer was overly cream based with very little tomato flavor. Maybe that's just a different preparation than what I am used to but I've never had a masala so watery/ creamy. The paneer itself was fine. My love had a chicken tandoori that was more like garlic chicken. Okay but not what was expected. The women's bathroom weirdly had one door with two toilets, one with a curtain and one without and it was difficult to lock the door. Old style drop ceilings and kind of dingy appearance throughout the place. Not sure where the rave reviews are coming from. Unlikely we will be back here.

Also some chais to go with the end of our meal. I'm glad she doesn't use pre-made chai, she had made a fresh batch herself which we've only had at very few Himalayan or Indian restaurants. The goat soup was very very filling and nutritious. The paneer masala was also very delicious and came with rice. Their naan is closer to the thin side, but still paired great with the curry and soup. She even gave us chai tea to-go for our long journey. This place is a gem and we very much recommend stopping by especially if you love Himalayan food. The service was wonderful and the ambiance was relaxed and quiet. Others may like more music or more decor, but I think it was great. The owner said she's still in the process of updating it now that it's just her managing the place so if you have been and you've been disappointed before, perhaps try coming back. Nice ambiance, not a single other customer. And nobody acknowledged us. Not a glance, not a "be right with you". This one won't make our list next time.
