We had a great experience here the other night. We snagged a couple of bar seats right around 4:30, to take advantage of the 4:30-5:30 happy hour. This place is super cute inside - it has a mountain cabin feel, with an Asian flair. The bartenders were great, and very friendly. Ordering was a very fun, unique experience - it's all done through a tablet. Loved that the tablet had descriptions, as well as photos, of the food and beverages. Once submitted, our drinks came out very quickly, and the food followed shortly after that. We started with the hamachi carpaccio - yellowtail sashimi, serrano pepper, micro greens, jalapeño oil and yuzu ponzu - delicious! Then we had the chicken potstickers which came in a really delicious soy/mayo sauce. From there - we had three more rolls - two of which were specialty rolls with shrimp in them (one of them was hair of the dog) - it was delicious with strings of shredded California crab on the outside, shrimp tempura and avocado on the inside, spicy mayo and soy - super flavorful, largely portioned, and delicious. Drinks were great - I started with the margarita, then moved to sake. We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu - and excited to check it out in a Monday for their ramen menu!

Solid experience. We came on a Thurs night around 6:30PM and were able to grab the last table outside. There was a little sticker shock on the price of the rolls....but also acknowledged the challenges of serving fresh food in CB. We ordered Edaname ($8), Red Lady ($32), Mt Yotei ($32), Izakaya Tiger ($32) and the Handlebar ($24)....and the everyone raved about the non sushi Handlebar as the top roll with the Izakaya Tiger as the second favorite rolls. Ordering everything off the tablets is convenient and seemed to work out well. Service was friendly (when we had interactions).

Delicious sushi in downtown Crested Butte. My favorite thing about this place is the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, which made it an enjoyable dining experience. We went for happy hour, which is 4-5 pm every day. Seriously great deals. $10 sushi rolls. Happy hour sake, wine and beer. $5-10 appetizers, including potstickers, cucumber salad and tempura shrimp. Would definitely be back for the happy hour deals!

Great happy hour prices and service has always been wonderful. Sushi quality can be a hit or miss. I've been here about 6 times now and 2 out of the 6 times I've had "fishy" moments. That happy hour is hard to beat though. Bring back the chicken on it

I've been to Crested Butte several times but never seen this restaurant before. It's tucked away just off the main street in town. I would recommend they put up Some type of signage showing where they're location. I even had a hard time finding it with the address in the GPS. I made reservations (which is a MUST) several weeks in advance and still didn't get the exact time I wanted. It ended up working out just fine. I showed up on time and was seated right away. I made reservations at the sushi bar which was great because I got to chat with the chefs and was able to see them prepare a bunch of different rolls. They're ordering system is really efficient. You order what you want on the tablet at the table and the food comes out right away. The food was soooo good I couldn't stop eating!! I just kept ordering and ordering and ordering. The Wagyu was A5 flown in from Japan. The chef did a great job preparing it too. $200 later I have no complaints. Will be back again

Self-Order tablets at the common tables downstairs, one of our favorite parts!

Frequent Guests! Our favorite date place in the valley! Always check reservations or call! Amazing crew, chefs, and bartenders The food in general is amazing, sushi and appetizers are to die for! We try something new every-time we go, ever changing menu and drinks. Cant wait to try Monday Night Ramen!

This review is mostly regarding their happy hour. They have great prices on their drinks & food. We usually get sushi rolls ($10) & this time we got the fries & they were so good! Also a warm carafe of sake is only $5! The service is really great too, super friendly & attentive. Fridays is "Aloha Friday" & if you wear something Hawaiian you get something free on happy hour but I don't remember what. And I think happy hour only applies to sitting in the bar area. We like sitting at the bar, the chairs are comfortable & I'm thinking the service is quicker there too. Enjoy!

First of all, I love crested Butte, so I'm always on the look out for some good food here. I have some favorite spots and Izakaya Cabin is now one of them! I loved the space- super vibrant with gorgeous art. The tables had a wood panel in the middle to elevate the food and make it easier to share, so really loved the attention to detail. Our server was so next level. He was so engaged and interactive and really offered guidance with the menu. The food was unreal. I'm a sucker for dumplings and cucumber salad and I was so pleased with their sauces and seasonings on both! We got nigiri as well, but our rolls were the stand out. We got a surf and turf roll and the golden dragon roll! The broiled eel on top was so crispy and sweet. Will absolutely be back whenever I'm in town!

So, so good. Get the cocktail sampler and the lychee martini. Every thing we tried on the menu was fantastic. The walu melts in your mouth. The servers/chefs were super busy but took time to chat and were very personable. You can tell they love where they works. So nice we went twice, first night for dinner, next night for happy hour.

Absolutely loved this place!! Their fish is so fresh, cocktail was amazing, happy hour was fun and inviting. Wish we had something of this quality in Telluride! Super jealous CB has this

I have pretty high standards when it comes to sushi (I eat it often and I'm picky about freshness and quality), and everything we ordered was impressive. The uni was incredibly fresh and creamy with that clean ocean flavor (no weird aftertaste at all), and the o-toro was unreal -- buttery, rich, and melted instantly. The rest of the rolls and nigiri were also on point. Great fish quality, good rice texture, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Service was solid and the overall vibe was exactly what you'd want after a day on the mountain. If you're in Snowmass and craving sushi, don't overthink it -- this place is absolutely worth it.

Pleasantly surprised!! first of all I can say is that the miso soup was incredible... The miso soup was probably the best miso soup I've had in my entire life. I go back there today by myself at 2pm and was seated at the bar by the same host. As I was finishing up I notice people coming 2:37pm, 2:45pm and 2:50pm and the same host that refused to serve us sat every one of them at a table.
