Everyone in their was so incredibly friendly including the other patrons. The food was delicious and the drinks were great as well. The restaurant was so cute especially with the Christmas lights up. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good bite to eat in Crested Butte.

We were approached immediately when we entered the establishment. It was clean and service was friendly and attentive. They both indoor and outdoor seating... and serve beer! We ordered the crispy pork basil and the duck noodle soup. Both were delicious. We both ordered hot because we are never sure. However, there were chili options available on the table to spice it up. Definitely worth the visit when in Crested Butte!

Came here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. We were able to find parking a couple blocks away. We were able to be seated quickly. The inside has nice decor. The workers were so fast it was crazy and they were so attentive. We were hungry after a long car ride and this meal hit the spot! They had tofu for a vegetarian option which was nice. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and it was delicious. They also had spices like chili oil that we could add to our dish and add some flavor. I always wish there was a little more food but prices were average. I left very content.

Amazing Thai food! Perfect aprés meal. Really nice spice. Service was a little slow at first but very friendly. Will come back here next time I'm in town to try more dishes! They have the classics plus a few unique items on the menu.

Fit the bill. We came on a Fri night just before 6PM and had the option to be seated inside or on the patio (which looked like a great option)...we elected to sit inside. My son and I ordered the Green Curry ($19), Panang Curry ($19) each with chicken and both had the same comment....it was okay. My bride ordered the Thai Peanut ($19) and said it was fine. Our DIL ordered the Tom Kha Soup ($10) and really enjoyed it. They seemed short staffed and were hopping to try and keep up with all of the tables. 4 star rating considers the challenges of trying to run a restaurant in a remote location like CB.

Great meal and service. Lots of good options on the menu and the people there are lovely.

There weren't many places open and most of the restaurants were open only after 3pm. We drove over 4 hours to check out this mountain town and were pretty hungry. So we did what anyone would do and find a busy restaurant. This place had an open patio, packed with people and kids. There was indoor seating, but they were not seating the indoor tables yet. We were quickly seated and we were able to also order right away. We got the Khao Soi and the fried rice. We were also provided with three containers of different kinds of chilis. Including chili paste, powder, and chopped in oil. I loved this!! This was the best part of the meal as the rest of the food was pretty average. Nothing super wow, but great for the price. Especially in comparison to the other restaurants around. Nothing out of the ordinary for a mountain town. The tables were very close together and I often had to move my chair so that people could pass by. And a table for 2 was kinda small but did the job. The weather was beautiful and it was the perfect day to sit outside otherwise. There are so many places to eat around here and a few Thai restaurants. But I think this place was pretty decent for never being around here before.

We stopped for lunch and sat on the patio. I love practicing my Thai and asked our server for recommendations. He suggested all the ones I was considering... duck noodle soup, Thai Basil stir fry (properly made with the fried egg!), and khao soy. I was very happy with my choice - duck noodle soup. You can jazz it up with the sambal chili sauce and dried chili but the soup has nice flavor and lots of duck meat, veggies and noodles. My friend ordered pad Thai and liked it too. All delicious and satisfying! Service was very friendly and just right. Food came out quickly. Bathroom was clean. Parking in front was easy. I will have to try and stop by their other locations in Ouray and Breck. Kop khun ka!

Ate here yesterday, I really like the decor and feel of the place, cozy ski hut vibes. the owner was very knowledgeable about authentic thai food and gave us a breakdown of the best way to add toppings and pairings with our food. I got the Khao Soi and it might be the best I've had.

Service was not great waited in line for upwards of an hour before getting seated and then had to wait even more before being helped. The potstickers were good and the duck soup was as well but could've been hotter.

There were a few little fountains on the perimeter, turf on the ground, and decorations hanging from the trees. They had a really nice high chair with a tray for our baby. Even though they don't have an official kids menu they were helpful finding something that our 3yr old and baby might like. I got the yellow curry with tofu and it was excellent. The curry sauce was flavorful and warming.

I started searching for a place to eat up here and everything had 2 stars and all the reviews were negative about the food and everything else. I sat at the bar and the staff was very friendly and easygoing. I had the Wings and the Fried chicken. Once I got the fried chicken I kind of thought to myself I'm an idiot because I got wings for an app and now more chicken lol. Both were amazing and the gravy on the fried chicken was out of this world. I got the pot roast to go for a friend of mine who was in the hotel because he wasn't feeling to well. It was very distracting and why I can't give 5 stars. Service was great - our server was attentive and all employees shared in clearing plates which I always like to see. Nothing really stood out to me as far as decor goes - if there was anything cool it was overshadowed by the tvs. For drinks, my husband had an old fashioned which was good but not out of the park. I had their mocktail of the moment which was a yuzu Moscow mule. It was delicious and I'd highly recommend. On the food front, Hideout did a grand job. We started with their special loaded kimchi waffle fries. Epic! I love kimchi and everything about this dish was perfect. For entrees, my husband had their Thai Me Up Burger with shoestring fries and was very pleased with it. Cooked as requested and fun flavors. I had their Fried Chicken Sandwich with kimchi pasta salad and while I only ate half due to being filled from waffle fries, it was very tasty. On the whole, I enjoyed the food and drink at The Hideout, but not sure I would return for the atmosphere or recommend for large groups who want to hang out sans distractions. Zero Proof Review: I'm on a quest to check out all the zero proof, mocktail and n/a beverages that Denver and beyond has to offer. The Hideout did not have a very robust selection so I would love to see them expand that, but their seasonal mocktail was one of the best I've had, so kudos for creativity and craft!

In honesty, I'm giving it one more star simply because eating there, the service was the additional star. The pad see ew is adequate, with enough seasoning to remind you of the classic dish, though it doesn't quite stand out. There is no spice to the dish; the chili crisp upon request was more salty tha spicy. The wonton soup and wonton noodle soup are comforting choices--especially on a cold day--but the flavors could use a bit more depth. It really tasted a little lack luster; more on the sweet side. They also offer boba drinks, though these appear to be powder-based rather than freshly brewed. There are several fried rice options to choose from, which adds some variety to the menu. Seating is limited, so it's better suited for takeout or a quick meal. Overall, a serviceable spot that satisfies a Thai food craving when in a pinch, but not one that feels especially memorable.
