Great service. Combo plates were loaded with food. Huge shrimp, crispy fried cod, clam strips, & fries. Husband had oysters instead of clams and they were very good. This seems like a place "where locals eat" which was exactly what we were looking for.

Overall this was a friendly place to have lunch. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The salmon was grilled well and the rest was good. I definitely will bring my family to this place when they visit because they love fried seafoods.

Overall the food was good, fried! Better than fast food but a little on the pricier side. Fries tasted good, the seafood tasted fresh. Not a big fan of the tartar sauce. A good place to try out since we visited Alaska but nothing wow or worth returning.

When entering, customer service was great. Considering we were the only one's in the restaurant, the service was pretty quick. When upon ordering, I was expecting the portions to be a little bit more then what we got due to the prices. But the food was decent. The Clam Chowder was good, I forgot to take a pic of my little bowl.

Meh. I've lived a half block from Momma Os for a decade and always avoided it because it's so damn expensive. I figured since we were moving I should try it at least once. I have no regrets about having only eaten their once. The food was fine and prepared well, but relative to quality and portion and service style and setting it is extremely over-priced. Plus you leave the place smelling like you were bathed in oil which I find super gross. The halibut was tender, but had no flavor. Fries were unseasoned. Our server forgot our drinks. $50 for fast food is ridiculous. Not impressed.

Good food, very friendly customer service. It's a hole in the wall place, but don't let that fool you. There is a variety of yummy choices, and the restaurant is exceptionally clean. The ladies restroom was spotless. My husband and I ordered the fried cod, fried and grilled shrimp, sauteed vegetables, and steak fries. It was all very tasty. We'd definitely return.

Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and professionalism made our dining experience exceptional. The food was phenomenal. The halibut bites were perfectly crispy and delicious, the dill salmon was fresh and flavorful, and the filet was cooked perfectly--tender and full of flavor. The blueberry beer was also fantastic and a unique local treat that paired wonderfully with the meal. From the warm welcome to the flawless service and incredible food, every part of our experience exceeded our expectations. If you're in Anchorage, Alaska Chopped & Chowder is an absolute must-visit!

With our reservation, we were seated pretty quickly, and I thought the restaurant had a cute nautical feel inside. I ordered a cider, and Colby ordered a glass of wine. For our appetizer, we shared the chowder sampler, which, being from Cape Cod, I had never seen before. The presentation was super cute, with each chowder served in its own tiny mug. All three were delicious and tasted freshly made. For my meal, I ordered the fish & chips, which were very good. I was a little disappointed that one piece of fish was missing batter on one side, but overall everything was still quite tasty. The bathrooms were clean, and I found the staff to be generally friendly, aside from a few comments that we chose to let slide. Overall, this was a really nice spot for local seafood, and there is plenty of free parking outside. We would definitely recommend it if you're looking for fresh seafood while visiting Anchorage.

The steak was average so so. Vegetables of course do get a cold as you eat. Mashed potatoes were delicious but also average. The glacier spiked lemonade was okay. The drink wasn't too strong and had a good flavor. Wasn't anything special considering the name.

Our table started off with the brussel sprouts appetizer which was PHENOMENAL. I ordered the 2025 stout for a beer and it was very tasty. Our server was great and attentive. It seems to be one of the best restaurants in the area to dine. It's VERY busy so I do recommend a reservation. It has a cool brewhouse vibe to it. I don't think anyone would be disappointed dining here.

Our table had the following: 6 oysters Rockefeller, 1 fried calamari, a half size blackened halibut Cesar salad, a grilled ribeye steak and an Alaskan halibut fish and chips. Food notes: the oysters were super fresh and delicious, perfectly cooked so that they were only broiled on top and still almost rare below. However the toppings could've been improved with better bacon, and maybe a touch more spinach. Even a small dollop of Béarnaise sauce would've been better than the Parmesan. Nevertheless this was probably my favorite bite of the night. The halibut on the fish & chips was also fresh flaky and really tender. The chips were like thin steak fries that had been battered but were still under seasoned. They weren't great, and no one ate them even our toddler who loves fries. The blackened halibut on the salad was tougher, and dry. There were too many store-bought croutons and the salad dressing was possibly store-bought too and bland for a Cesar. The ribeye was totally sad. It was quite thin and unimpressive especially for the cost. It came with more of those dismal fries and some plain broccolini. Our steak-loving dinner companion only ate about half and didn't care to doggy-bag the rest so it went to waste. Calamari was average, and came with two oily amateur-chef looking sauces, one mayo flavored and one somewhat spicer was basically the same as the first. Our excellent waiter mixed up a cocktail sauce himself that blew the other sauces out of the water. Bravo to him. He was the best while waiting on us also, quick to refill a water or retrieve more drinks from the bar. Good thing the Rockefeller was great, I'd be back for that alone ($6/per oyster) but otherwise I don't think I'd rush back to Fletcher's.
