Will it be crusty? Should you even bother? Well, I'm here to tell you. Courage totally gets it. It passes the freshness test. We stopped in and ordered the classic Survivor cupcake to go. Wow, it's a cute little cupcake! How do they do that rainbow swirly thingy with the frosting? Anyways. Well for some odd reason life got in the way and I couldn't eat my cupcake until the next day. But that's okay! Because instead of landing in the moratorium, this cupcake had me on cloud nine. So thick and dense and cakey. And the frosting was yummy and flavorful. Wow..if it's this good a day old, I bet it's a twelve star same-day cupcake.

Fear no more Courage cupcakes are so delicious moist and reasonably priced. Plus some profits go to the cure for cancer. I was so happy I found the place open. They changed the hours so we barely made it today so it was well worth my trip, I tried four different flavors and I truly was happy with all of them. This is the very first time I had a red velvet that was so moist and the cream so soft and smooth is just melted in my mouth Yum. I had the maple bacon I removed the bacon but the maple flavor was so delicious. I also tried the chocolate banana cup cake it had a very delicious banana filling and the light chocolate cram top with dark drizzle of dark chocolate was like I was in heaven. They also honor the yelp special which is sweet because the proceeds go to the cure for cancer. I will definitely go back again. Oh yeah I forgot to mention they have food trucks in case you are in down town

We stopped at Insomnia Cookies for dessert after having lunch next door at Fat Rosie's. Overall,…read morethe cookies were really good, and we definitely prefer them to Crumbl. We grabbed a deluxe four-pack with the S'mores, Salted Caramel, and two Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup cookies. They were served warm, soft, and gooey, and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup was easily my favorite; rich, chocolatey, and loaded with peanut butter! The store was clean and bright, but service was surprisingly slow considering we were the only people there at the time. Two of our four cookies were also broken while being put into the box. I want to give them a slight pass since the cookies are served warm and are pretty delicate, but it was still a bit annoying, especially considering the four-pack cost $21.56. And that's really my biggest gripe; more than $5 per cookie is honestly outrageous and EXTREMELY hard to justify, even for a specialty dessert shop IMO. That said, we still really enjoyed them and think they're much better than Crumbl. I'd absolutely eat them again; I just wouldn't make a habit of it at that price.

The parking lot is a bit chaotic but they do have a few 15 min parking spots right out front to help with that since folks are usually coming and going. We walked in and took a few minutes took look through the menu, when we went to order we were told 2 of the 3 flavors were out and we would need to wait 15 minutes for it. We decided to wait since that way it would be extra fresh and yummy. There was only one person and he really wasn't thrilled to be there and you can tell in the tone of his voice not only to us but to everyone working. It got pretty busy after dinner so I get it but it was a bit off putting just listening. After about 20 minutes or so we got our cookies and it was delish! I almost wish we got more because the cookies didn't even make it home! Overall, a delicious experience!

Note: This shop doubles as Cupcake by Design and is now located next to Planet Fitness…read more I had seen this place plenty of times and used to think it was for custom or catering orders only, but I figured today was the day to find out for sure. Sure enough, they do sell individual cupcakes and cookies. I purchased a birthday cake cupcake and a chocolate coconut cupcake. Both were larger than some competitors' cupcakes and only cost $3.25 each, undercutting other gourmet cupcake shops. Not only were these treats generously sized, but they were generously frosted as well. How did they taste? The chocolate coconut was excellent; the chocolate center filling was a nice touch. The birthday cake one was decent; no center filling, but the cake had confetti. However, both were on the sugary side, which I know sounds like a silly criticism when talking about cupcakes. But we could only eat a portion of each cake before our stomachs asked us to stop. I felt a little sick after eating more than I should have. In my opinion, the cake and frosting quality at Molly's is a notch above, but if you need a sugar fix, Cupcake by Design will give you a bigger, frostier treat for less money.

Chocolate and peanut butter? Ho hum. Booze and baked goods? Now you're talking! GP caught my eye with the frosting. Walking into the Encore Liquid Lounge (which sells a good its a$$ can't cash, but that's another thing), I was hypnotized by these strange blue cupcakes. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I can't resist anything colored blue, purple or red, so I had to know what was up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered by blue hypnosis was due to Hpnotiq cupcakes! You read that correctly: BLUE cupcakes made with and tasted like Hpnotiq. And, yes, you could get a buzz. Lest you think, however, that I am not klassy and only fall head over heels for blue treats, I'll have you know that I gorged on: cognac, amaretto, apple martini (GREEN with apple bits on the inside!), and strawberry margarita (keep me near the cross; these made me go on a mama-slapping rampage that was only quieted by passing out from the sheer rip-your-clothes-off goodness at eating a strawberry cake, topped with berry/tequila frosting and filled with boozy berries treat). Don't sit in judgement of me: you would have done the same thing.. and I might have been drunk from cupcakes (first time for everything!). Everyone working there genuinely looks like they like working there. They're kind and give suggestions. They understate how large everything is, but that maybe a good thing so they could up sell. The negative experience for me was that I was aching for a sprinkle dipped cone. I got a large ice cream and dipped. It turns out it's hard to dip a cone that is beyond large (I was told it was going to be smaller which is why I ordered the L, but that's ok). The dude that took care of my cone tried real hard to cater to my needs, which made this a better experience, but if you grew up with a dipped cone, then you know the lively taste of a dipped cone. The flavor of the soft serve was good too, but it didn't have the smooth consistency I was looking for. It's hard to explain what I'm trying to say...it could've been smoother. I'll try this place again with a smaller cone, but everyone enjoyed their cones. You could get different varieties of dipped and sundaes. They also have hot food and I want to try that out.
