Then, I paid and I didn't notice until I was on my way that she gave me the wrong change....again to her advantage. Umm....wtf? I don't know what to say about a business like this!!! The cupcakes themselves weren't good. The frosting had hardened and it was pure sugar!! I can't even say the flavor was good....even though I generally love sweets. These were too sweet!! I honestly hated them!! I will not return to this place....ever.

One cake in particular stood out, a chocolate cake with white frosting, which tasted like someone had mixed flat rootbeer with a few teaspoons of rubbing alcohol and soaked the bottom of the cake in it. It was very strange, and we obviously didn't finish it. I maintain that they make good cookies, though, and I'll probably go back for those.

When we walked in, the bakery was completely empty, yet staff helped customers who came in after us while we stood at the register waiting for several minutes before finally speaking up. Once we mentioned we were there for AmazeCo, the employee helping us initially tried to hand us someone else's order even after we gave our name. After finally locating our box, we discovered it only contained croissants with bacon and ham. We explained that one person in our group cannot eat pork and asked if there was any possibility of exchanging an item, especially since every other stop on the AmazeCo experience was accommodating of dietary restrictions. The response we received was simply, "That sucks," with no attempt to help or offer an alternative. The lack of customer service and professionalism really left a bad impression, especially considering the positive experiences we had everywhere else that day.

This small shop does not have any seating. It is a grab n go place that way you're able to devour their sweets in peace haha. The donuts aren't labeled which made it hard for me to decide what I wanted. I did ask the staff member what some of them were which took a few extra minutes. I also did not see a sign for how much their donuts are. I stopped in on a Saturday around 830am and it was BUSY. A couple came in to pick up their custom made wedding cake while others were there for a Saturday sweet treat. Staff members were friendly and on top of their game. I got 2 donuts, Boston cream and maple pecan. Both were delicious and fresh. The Boston cream donut is a show stopper. It was thicccck and filled with a generous amount of custard. The dough was fluffy and the chocolate on top was not overly sweet.

The cruffins were absolutely incredible: crunchy, flaky, buttery, and wonderfully gooey in the center. The éclairs were on another level the custard filling was beyond this world, rich, silky, and unforgettable. The brownies were decadent and fudgy without being too heavy. What made the experience even more special was the owner. She was the sweetest person ever kind, welcoming, funny, and genuinely passionate about her craft. She took the time to explain her entire process, which made us appreciate the pastries even more. This place is truly a hidden gem. At first, it feels like they don't go together, but after sitting with it for a bit, I started to get on board. I think the one flavor that stands out as not really blending well with the rest is the orange sherbet for me, but overall it's a unique take on ice cream!

Walking into the Encore Liquid Lounge (which sells a good its a$$ can't cash, but that's another thing), I was hypnotized by these strange blue cupcakes. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I can't resist anything colored blue, purple or red, so I had to know what was up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered by blue hypnosis was due to Hpnotiq cupcakes! You read that correctly: BLUE cupcakes made with and tasted like Hpnotiq. And, yes, you could get a buzz. Well, you know I had to have one. Or, 8. Tracey, the owner, is rightfully proud of her product and after we got to talking how I was going to be her new best friend/stalker, she made sure I left with a small box of the baked goods. When you walk into the Fruit Market, go to the left and they'll be in the front corner of the grocery store. There isn't much to separate them from the rest of the store except for a partition of pastries. Grab a tray and some tongs, pick out what you want, and head to the register by the refrigerated desserts. You don't pay for these at the main checkout. They accept cash and credit. You can also place and purchase orders for pickup.
