Just checked in and the host is Rude ASF. I would definitely have him in the back doing dishes or cleaning toilets for the extra help. No customer service whatsoever. Wow! I was so blown away by Mojave. A friend and I stopped by here on a whim. The service and food were excellent. We got the guacamole, the orange salmon and the crab quesadilla. Beautiful restaurant but disappointed that I did not get to try the food because of the service at this restaurant. My husband and I made a reservation for 5pm this afternoon, we arrived at 4:50pm and was seated on the patio by one of the hostesses. 20 mins went by and no one came to our table to greet us so we assumed maybe they were in the middle of changing shifts, even though waiters and waitresses were walking past our table helping other people. We still had menus at our table so I am not sure why none of the other waiters stopped to ask if we were being assisted. We waited another 10 mins and still nothing so we politely told one of the hostesses what had happened and left. Went up the street to Rays on the River which had much better service. read more

This is my first time at this restaurant, the staff with the exception for the management, were wonderful, however as we were dining we were asked to moved to another table because we "sat too long" yet our entries hadn't even come out. They told us they would move our drinks for us, we didn't feel comfortable with that because we all had the same drink for the table. We asked if we could finish our drinks first and the manager had a disgusting attitude and requested we move immediately. The confusion resulted in our food being cold food being sent to our table. Currently waiting on my new plate. I didn't catch her name but she claimed to be the event coordinator. Holy cow. The owner is a complete jerk. Usually at bars, when you order a drink "on the rocks", and they ask if you want a double, it means you will pay a few bucks more for the double. Example: $8 single on the rocks, but it would be $12 for a double. Here, they charge 2x. So a Tito's Vodka on the rocks at $10 becomes $20....for one drink! A bottle of Tito's is $28 at every liquor store. All that said, I noticed the tab as I was sitting at the bar where it said $20 per drink. I simply asked the bartender why this was the case. He explained it was the owner that requires this. The manager came over and started to try to explain, in the middle of him explaining....the owner came over, like he was in the mafia, and started berating me for questioning the pricing. Oh. My. God... How unprofessional. He is a complete prick and couldn't care less about what his patrons feel and clearly just wants to bully his employees. Both of the bartenders apologized for his actions, as if they were beaten dogs. seriously. He owned Rose and Crown and they didn't charge this way there, but I will tell you....his businesses deserve no customers the way he threatens those paying and apparently how he treats his employees. Very bad experience tonight. Had an issue with topic of conversation that a large group near us were loudly discussing and the manager was rather quick to say "that's not my fault." Well, when several of your servers walk by and witness it and do nothing, it kindof is. My wife was so hurt and in tears that she left the restaurant without even finishing her food, which i still paid for. I suppose that's what bothers me the most. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE! We came on Sunday for brunch and were excited as we had heard there were bottomless mimosas and great food. We sat down and no one came to get drink orders for almost 10 minutes. Once they did we ordered bottomless mimosas and had to remind the waiter 3 times when he came past our table that we had ordered them. We were there for 2.5 hours because they were so slow and only received 3 mimosas, so money was wasted on paying for bottomless. They ran out of mimosa glasses and the restaurant was 1/4 full. The tacos were flavorless, and the only saving grace was the corn chowder. Waited almost an hour for food but the restaurant wasn't even crowded. The manager came to our table but instead of asking us how our experience was he COMPLAINED about how busy and tired he was. We witnessed our waiter screaming at the manager for something and were never apologized to for the awful service. Food doesn't make up for how bad the service is here which is a shame. read more

Was so excited for this place to open! Very different that R&C but in a great way. The interior is beautiful and very welcoming! Staff was terrific- a lot of the same faces from R&C too! Loved the cocktails and wine offerings. The food was great - we tried the meatball app - the seafood paella (awesome) and the pork taco with peach salsa was fantastic!!! I had always wanted to try this restaurant because it looks very pretty and the food looks good. I made a reservation and the lady at the front desk told me the table was getting cleaned for us to sit, and that it would only take a few moments. We were waiting for over 30 minutes inside, where half of the customers weren't wearing masks and some were even caughing. We went to a corner so we were able to social distance from those people, and accidentally saw the the inside of the kitchen. Where NONE of the cooks were wearing masks either. They didn't have a mask at all, and were talking over the food. That immediately grossed me out, because people spit bacteria as they speak, and no one knows what viruses they have. A great hidden gem in Atlanta. I say hidden not because of the volume of people (it grows as the night goes) but I think many people pass it (like me) and don't do it realize it's as great as it is. This place is stunning! The ambiance is very relaxing. Too hot to check out the patio (plan on going back to check it out, looks beautiful!) so we grabbed a seat at the bar. Made an Open Table reservation for our party of six. We arrived about 25 minutes early and acknowledged this to the hostess. Hostess said it was no problem and they could likely seat us earlier than reservation time. Manager asked our preference of two available tables and made a suggestion for the one away from live music, which we agreed. Once to our table, server and a manager greeted us. We told them it was our first visit for all six of us. Hostess took drink orders and went over specials. Drinks arrived shortly thereafter and we ordered appetizers. Server explained that the wings were charred and asked if that was okay with us because some folks don't enjoy the charred flavor. We agreed we wanted to try them. Server allowed apps to arrive before taking our entree selections, which were great because it allowed us to chat with one another. We enjoyed chipotle wings, calamari and blue corn bread for appetizers. All were served at good temps and tasted great! Entrees arrived as we were finishing apps and we had a variety at the table; burger, tacos, tamales, Cuban sandwich and more wings. Everyone raved about their selections. I enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and it was a good combination of pork and brisket pressed on Cuban bread. Shrimp, chicken and pork tacos were all good but pork was agreed to be the most flavorful. Went to Mojave for a birthday dinner this week. Ambiance was nice, warm and inviting. Host was nice (although I'm pretty sure I walked up on him talking about me ) was seated and servers came over promptly. One server was very kind and the other was professional but seemed to be rushing us and very annoyed. We did have a large party that included 2 kids but we were sat in the very back near no other patrons. Food had beautiful presentation but ZERO flavor. I know... shocked. Calamari had to be soaked in the sweet chili sauce as the breading had no taste. Steak was just a hunk of (tender albeit) meat. Guacamole needed salt. The list goes on.. I was highly disappointed in the lack of flavor in every aspect of the food. I enjoyed the experience and it was beautiful and well prepared but missed that key thing. read more
