Food was just ok. Ambience, service, and drinks excellent. We had crab cakes and meatballs as appetizers. I didn't like the texture or flavor of meatballs. Crab cake tasted like it came from frozen box. Blue cornbread tasted like jiffy mix. Lamb chops were good..potatoes that came with it too salty. Tacos were just ok. Turkey burger was yuk. Everything tastes like it was prepackaged. Usually when you have 30+ items on a menu there will be a number of misses. If not for drinks I would've rated 2 stars. Fantastic food and service! I just went to Mojave for the first time this weekend for my birthday brunch. They were very accommodating to my larger party with no reservation (The places I typically go do not take brunch reservations, but this place does! Great for future parties!). They do bottomless mimosas (4 flavors) and a bloody Mary bar and they have a great brunch menu! Highly recommend! Michael, the manager, is AMAZING! From the time we walked into the restaurant to the time we left, Michael kept a smile on our hungry faces! He really EXCEEDED our expectations. We had a reservation for 9pm, showed up 20 minutes early, but the table wasn't ready by 9. We were all hungry, so the attitude was definitely there. Michael explained to us why our table wasn't ready yet and gave us an alternative so we didn't have to wait, then accommodated our needs because he knew this wasn't our first choice. EXEMPLARY SERVICE! Just off of Michael alone, I will definitely be coming back to Mojave. If you ask me, he deserves a raise and a promotion because you don't run into too many decent humans in the service business, especially on busy nights. read more

Wonderful dinner here last night. We were greeted warmly at the door. The interior is beautiful with windows overlooking a pond with fountain. Nick, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was the right combination of professional and friendly . The manager, Mike, stopped twice at our table to check on us. He too was professional and friendly. The 3 of us ordered drinks. Two of us enjoyed our drinks. One of us did not care for her drink so the bartender remade it then it was delicious. We ordered the guacamole appetizer which was very fresh and tasty. All 3 of us enjoyed our entrees. My salmon spinach salad was very good. I want to try their weekend brunch . This is such a welcome addition to the area. read more

Not worth the price. We went for lunch with a group from work and we were seat immediately although not that many patrons. The renovation is very stylish and we all were very impressed, but it stopped there. The waiter was friendly but not knowledgeable about serving sizes. Some of us ordered the tacos since we were told they were 8 oz. each..... maybe 2 together were 8oz. but not each one. The taste was good but nothing special. Two in our party had the Cuban and said it was good, but overpriced for lunch. The biggest disappointment was the side order plantains.... we all thought we were getting fresh plantains, breaded and deep fried, unfortunately, it was like chips out of a bag. Maybe dinner is a better experience but there's tastier food elsewhere read more

I have gone to this restaurant twice now and both times have not been disappointed. Their food is unique and delicious, the atmosphere is elegant yet cultural and the service is phenomenal. Went to a birthday dinner with a party of ten. Had the Worst waiter. Very inattentive and robotic. Never asked what we were celebrating and had zero personality. Even though the party was large he just seemed very inept and like he didn't care about his job. Ordered the paella. I have had this dish many times at different restaurants never seen it presented like this. My bowl had a big chicken breast on which the skin was literally black, in the middle of the bowl. I had to pull the skin off to see what the hell it was. Also had bones in the bowl. Never had paella where the chicken was not cut up or that had bones. The whole dish was at most sub average. Ordered a caparinih which tasted good but was very weak. Everyone at the table complained of weak drinks. Group ordered various entrees- most of which were not that great. Some said the tacos, guacamole, lamb chops were pretty good. Overall I was not impressed and won't be back. Would not recommend. read more

One thing I tried was "The waBlue Corn Cornbread". The presentation was very... interesting to say the least; however, it was extremely fluffy and delicious! Another thing I tried was the "French Toast", this was affordable and very great as well! My only complaint is the wait. I'm in the medical field, and I finally had a night off and my boyfriend took me here for dinner. The waiter messed up my boyfriend's meal. It's okay, that happens, but it's the way they handled it that was wrong. They had mixed up one of the items and brought out one that he is extremely alleging too. It took about 30 minutes to flag a waitress down to let her know and ask for our waiter. Then we figured they would replace the entire dish so as not to cross-contaminate, but they must have only replaced the one item because he still got sick. They did apologize when the new food came out, but we expected to have something taken off our tab, or some kind of"I'm sorry, here's this on the house", but no, nothing at all. I have had several other issues with their survive as well. One of them being the waitress forgot a drink my sister ordered, and remembered to put the order in after we signed the check. My sister took a sip or two of it because we were already ready to leave, then the waitress proceeded to chase after us saying she needs to put the drink she forgot on a separate tap to bring to us. This is NOT how you run a proper restaurant. Do not recommend ever going here! Very overpriced for how you are treated. read more

Went back for lunch after a wonderful dinner...was a little less impressed mainly with the portion size and prices. The food was great but 13 dollars for a Small bowl of guacamole and 4 tortilla flats was pretty out of line with other restaurants in this area. My red mesa salad was very tasty too but about the size of a side salad at any other restaurant . And at 14 dollars wasn't cheap either. I want this restaurant to do well as we are huge rose and crown fans, but please either increase the portion sizes ( especially the salads) or decrease the prices. Otherwise I'm afraid this place will go the direction others in this location have before. read more

What a hidden gem! Wonderful patio, servers, food and drinks particularly during covid times. All of us enjoyed our drinks and meals very much! Our server, Elena, was SUPER attentive. I had brunch here with two of my cousins and my toddler daughter. The atmosphere is lovely indoor and outdoor. We had a table on the outdoor patio. I'm giving the restaurant a 1 star because I got sick from the food. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero but before doing so, explained to the waitress that I don't eat pork and if I could substitute the pork sausage for chicken sausage instead, which she said yes. I received and ate my meal but immediately started feeling sick to my stomach. I felt something wasn't right and called the waitress over to ask if the meal had pork because I'm not feeling well. She said she would look into it. She came back and stated that the manager said they wouldn't be able to tell for certain if pork was used. The manager didn't even come over to address the concern. Once I got home I ended up having diarrhea for the rest of the afternoon. I'm certainly not planning to patron this establishment again. As someone who has worked in the service industry for 15+ years, I was appalled by my experience here. After our first round of drinks came, it was all downhill. The appetizer was sub-par, three of the 4 of us at our table were very unsatisfied with the entrees, and when we spoke to the staff (servers first, then management) no one seemed to care or want to make it right. No apologies, no attempts to get us something else to eat, no interest in trying to make our experience enjoyable whatsoever. The manager told us he'd "take care" of the food, yet we all had to pay for food no one liked anyway. As we left, the server shrugged and said "maybe we'll do better next time." OMG where do I start! Had a birthday dinner of 25 people. Everything was great until my father offered the kind gesture of paying for all the women in the party. EASY task right? NO!! There were two waitress (in which we didn't know). One didn't communicate to the other to total all the women in the party, therefore 1 waitress only totaled all the women on her table giving us 1 bill. My father paid the bill and left....well, the other waitress comes out saying we didn't pay her bill?? Why didn't the waitresses communicate what was going on?? Some of the women left thinking their bill was paid for, leaving me, ON MY BIRTHDAY to pay the bill. It was a HUGE misunderstanding, that led to alot of back and forth, my father already left to pay the other tab, alot of who was going to pay what. My father took care of it later, however it was a mess. because the airhead waitress didn't take care of it. Manager was not helpful! Only offered a gift card for next dinner. Why not give one now? I don't plan on coming back! Second request of drinks never came. Birthday dinner and vibe was spoiled for the remainder of the night. Top discussion for hours when we arrived home. The decor is nice. However, I couldn't tell whether this was a sports bar or an upscale restaurant. There were several tv's showing sports while a jazz band tried to play and sing during our dinner. The price for food is exorbitant and the portion size is subpar. My husband had salmon less than the size of my palm, 4 asparagus and some kind of grits cake. His meal was $30, which did not come with a salad nor an accompaniment. I had the paella, which came in a small skillet, very runny, barely any seafood and a tiny whole chicken leg for $25 again with no complimentary salad or accompaniment. Most upscale restaurants at least serve complimentary bread and butter! The price we paid for the food was not worth it and not very tasty. The only thing I enjoyed was the blue corn cornbread for the appetizer. We even had to pay for the chips and salsa, which is usually complimentary in Latino restaurants! Never again. This was a one and done dining experience. Our server was nice, but the male host was deceptive. We asked for a booth and he had us wait for about 10 minutes and stated he had the perfect spot for us. I thought he was going to seat us in an intimate area, instead it was not a booth and he seated us next to a rambunctious and drunk group. Worst dinner experience ever! I would choose Taco Bell over Mojave and I don't even eat Taco Bell! read more

My friends and I had a reservation for 20ish people. We came to celebrate a birthday. Upon entering, we were placed in the very back of the restaurant which was understandable because there was a lot of us. About five minutes after sitting down we see a bug crawling on the wall behind us and brought that to the attention of our waitress. She, nonchalantly let us know it was a water bug and denied our request to be moved to a different table. Fast forward, the bug comes back and MY table makes the suggestion that we move to the table behind us. The waitress says, "sure, if you want to" and scoots out of the way for us to move chairs and tables and drinks on our own. As our entrees are being brought out, my friend looks to her left and points out a roach crawling right beside her. We're freaking out trying to move everything out the way and the waitress and still passing out food and asking who had what. Very tone-deaf. The manager comes over after an hour of dealing with bs and lets us know that he wants to move us to a different table. We then proceed to pick up all our stuff including our plates full of food and drinks and move to another table. Which also came with a bug. At this point, it's a bunch of ladies in heels and dresses standing around the restaurant waiting for direction. We get moved to our third and final table. Food is cold at this point and some of my friends don't even have theirs. They did remake two plates which was kind. The drinks were also really good. The manager comes back and explains his only two options were free shots or drinks on the house. After talking for another five minutes he explains that he can take the entrees off for all of us which was appreciated. This restaurant has the right foundation but preparation is very important and also listening to the customer especially when we were not being disrespectful at all. We wanted to enjoy our dinner just like those around us. read more

Where do I begin? Everything was amazing! Our server Julia, was more than outstanding! She continuously checked in and made sure we were okay and more than satisfied with our meals, even tho the restaurant was busy, she was able to manage and balance out her attention to her tables. She knew her menu, and was able to recommend some awesome tres leches cake.. it was soo good we got another order! The manager there, Chichi (Mr. Cuba), was amazing too! Funny and interactive with the guests. He came around a few times to make sure we were happy. All the food we ordered was made with love and tasted amazing! My mission in Georgia is to just find some good mole. I came across this restaurant and thought oh my why delicious looking dishes and they have mole! First of they don't call this a Mexican restaurant but rather a Latin American what does that mean? I am not sure they know their regions but anyway the waiter was really nice. We ordered a burger on a concha bread (sweet bread) which is what they call it in Mexico . We asked with no onions but it came with onion no problem we took them out. Note to self a concha tends to fall apart but was good. My mole sauce was pretty good but is a bit thin and needed more chocolate. Regardless still one of the better sauces I've tried. Typically you eat this with corn tortillas but i always dread b/c if you don't make them and they serve them they fall apart so guess what happened to mine. Anyway they were nice enough to let me order both corn and flour(backup). They're small and that's they way they should be made ! Overall would recommend this dish.
