And his plan worked to perfection. I got the chicken kebab and chose Greek potatoes and hummus as my sides. So very good. The others in our group really enjoyed their meals too. Will definitely keep them in mind for future shows- it is in walking distance of the venue and we could keep our cars parked in their deck! read more

10s, 10s, 10s across the board! I was planning to go to the establishment next door, but they were closed so security directed me here. WOW! When I entered around lunch time the place was empty. I have to be honest, I was a little nervous, but the bartender Kirk was inviting! It's crazy that after all the years of frequenting the business next door, I never thought about going in. The decor was beautiful and subtle. Very reminiscent of restaurants you'd find in Greece. I will get into the topic that matters, THE FOOOOOOD! OMG! I did not go too crazy. Started with the Greek potatoes and they were seasoned to perfection. Crispy on the outside and smooth and soft on the inside. The LAMB on my salad was outer worldy! Tender, seasoned well and the portion was perfect, no skimping there! I also had the house pickles as an app and they were delicious as well. I'd take a jar home if I could (can I!?) If you have not been, please add this spot to your list. It's perfect for lunch and has a beautiful bar for your happy hour shenanigans. This place is a bit tucked away, so it's easy to miss if you're not in the Galleria area already. I guess you could call it a hidden gem. Our food was very good! We were one of two parties in the restaurant in the really late lunch/very early dinner window, so we almost had the place to ourselves. The service was fantastic. I'd have to come back during a busier time to see if the service stands up to those rushes. Heads up, if you order the Sultan, it's a lot of meat. I added a pic below. I knew I was ordering with the intent to have leftovers, but it was even more than I expected. Highly recommend splitting it! Overall the food was enjoyable!! Now here's what happened to get the food.... We ordered our meals so they would be delivered by 8pm. However it was cancelled. It ended up being delivered late due to a snafu with Door Dash. Once we called the restaurant it was cleared up. The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful!! We ordered the falafed Deluxe Falafel Platter (included no pita) as well as t he Lamb Chop Platter (again did not include pita)!!' So I was disappointed. Thank goodness we ordered the extra pita, which turned out to be the only pita. The falafel was very spicy with heat. Thank goodness we liked spicy heat, otherwise, it would have upset our stomach. Our Favorite start to an AMC movie night..... This family owned restaurant is located in a beautiful new space at the Galleria office park. Its is a wonderful little gem of a restaurant that serves Amazing tasting Mediterranean food. Think greek/ persian/ turkish. We have often ordered the Greek platter which is sort of like a Gyro plate with a choice of sides and fresh Tzatziki sauce. However we recently tried the lasagna and it did NOT Disappoint, and impressed us, as it was swimming in a delicious cheesy tomato sauce. Olive Bistro has a full bar and wine service and their prices I find are very reasonable! The servers have always been EXTREMELY Polite and helpful without being overbearing in the least. It recently moved to this new location from down the parkway, and I wanted to drop this review to encourage my fellow Atlantians to drop by and give them some love. This is one of my favorite restaurants! It's relatively quiet and casual, but Vlad and Valentina, the owners, make you feel like you're eating in their own dining room! The hummus is the freshest in town. Anything with their gyro meat is delicious, the rosemary chicken is fabulous and very tender, and even their lasagna is top-notch! Make sure you save some room for dessert as Valentina makes them herself. My favorite, by far, is actually not on the menu, but ask for it and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get a piece of her snickers bar cake. It is truly worth a trip in itself! read more

I've had driven past this place a million times and decided to be it a try. So glad I did! We sat outside on their patio. There are only a few tables outside but it was nice. Delicious!!! I'm on bedrest and we live across the street so my teenage son went and picked up dinner. We had: - Falafel and Dip - Rosemary Chicken w/ Hummus, Greek Salad and Lentils and Rice (mixture) - Lamb Pita Sandwich Flavors were on point. Meat was tough (too tough to eat ). Lamb, majority of the pieces were very fatty and too tough to eat so got trashed. We were able to eat about 2-3 small pieces. Chicken breast very flavorful but tough as well. They attempted to slice the chicken breast but didn't slice it all the way through which should have been a hint to the Chef. Falafel and Dip very flavorful and a bit spicy. I really enjoyed these. I will eat here again but I will request tender meat. Greek Salad was what you would expect from a Greek Salad. Yummy. Pita Bread for Hummus was given cold. I didn't like that. I met a couple of friends here for lunch one Monday. This place is slightly difficult to locate. It is in a plaza anchored by a Kroger. If you approach from the north (from 285), it is easy to turn in prematurely, but the plaza before that connects to the Kroger plaza anyway. This place has a relatively small dining room - maybe 8 - 10 tables. They also have a couple of patio tables out front. It appeared there was just one guy who was the bartender and server. However, he did a good job and kept the orders moving. They have a relatively extensive menu given their size. It was easy to pick out something I liked. I got a gyro and it was quite tasty. If I lived closer, or if I were in the area again around a mealtime, I'd absolutely go back. read more

A coworker and I were talking about Greek restaurants in Atlanta. He pulled up Yelp and searched for "greek restaurant." Among one of the first results that popped up was Olive Bistro. Four stars, over 20 reviews, and close to our office -- good enough for me. I rounded up a few others and off we went to lunch here at Olive Bistro. We've eaten at Thai Diner and Tomo in the same shopping center and we'd seen this place before, so we were going to hit it up eventually. One of my coworkers who lives nearby has been coming here for dinner over the past three years. The restaurant is not very big. I counted maybe 10 or 11 tables (for four) total. The atmosphere is casual and somewhat intimate as the tables are placed closely next to one another. The four-page menu is the same for both lunch and dinner. They offer small plates (e.g. hummus, baba ghanoush, grape leaves), salads (e.g. Greek, tabbouleh), sandwiches and wraps (e.g. gyros), and entrees (e.g. mousaka). They also offer platters, of which we ordered three. Everything is served with soft pita. Prices range from $5.99 (apps) to $14.99 (lamb kebab). The platters are about $10 each. We ordered a plate of hummus for the table. It was very good. Good consistency and not too oily or sour. The pita was soft and heated, although I'm not sure if it was very fresh. I ordered the Mediterranean platter, which gives you a choice of four items from the following: falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, eggplant, Tuscan beans, Greek salad, and grape leaves. If you choose the grape leaves, they add $2 onto your order. Since we already had hummus at the table, I ordered the falafel, tabbouleh, eggplant, and Tuscan beans. Just like the hummus, the other items were pretty good. According to the chalkboard outside, the AJC rated Olive Bistro's falafel as the best in Atlanta. I haven't tried enough falafel to know what great falafel is supposed to taste like, but theirs were magnificent. Crispy and crunchy on the outside, but soft, fluffy, and tasty on the inside. If you could order only thing here, get the falafel. The tabbouleh consists of parsley, tomatoes, cucumbers, scallions, cracked wheat, lemon juice, olive oil, and garlic. It was tangy. The eggplant consisted of two big slices of eggplant marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic (see a recurring theme here?). Delicious. Finally, the Tuscan beans were marinated in the same stuff with a little bit of sun-dried tomatoes and spices on top. These turned out better than I thought. The beans were just drenched in olive oil and spices. Yummy. Service was great. One important note: they do not separate checks here. You either pay one bill for the entire table or you can split the total amount evenly amongst everyone at the table (that's what we did). Parking can get tight in this busy shopping complex, but you shouldn't have a problem finding an open spot. read more
