Recently came across a video on IG which mentioned about mochi as a topping for drinks so i gotta try it out. So when i was in SD of course i had to stop by and try out. I really liked my Creme Brulee Milk Tea with added mochi, my toddler got the Mango Mochi which was good, my husband got the Creme Brulee Uji Matcha which wasnt as impressive compared to Omomo's, and my parents shared a Super Fruit Green Tea plus size. I forgot to ask them how it was. I also got the pandan bubble waffle and cheese foam dip. I expected it would be similar taste to Vietnamese pandan waffle but it was a bit different. Due to having coconut flakes in the batter, the waffle became separated. Over all I wouldn't mind to try more drinks in the future. However, the price was a bit pricy. read more

Decided to try this place out as it was one of the only boba places I could find in Mission Valley Inside looks like the standard boba shop with colorful decor and a minimalist aesthetic. Service was standard as well, the order taker seemed nice and the 3 drinks I ordered didn't take too long but I wouldn't say they were fast. I ordered the Crème Brûlée Milk Tea with Golden Boba. The taste was quite nice as it was extra sweet from the Crème Brûlée while not completely overpowering the tea flavor. The golden boba was standard as well but it wasn't amazing. This drink altogether with my tip came out to about $7.50 which I think is pricey considering I ordered the medium size. Overall I would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to go to Convoy as the drinks there are around the same price for the same amount of drink or more while maintaining higher quality. You are essentially paying the premium of getting to have boba in Mission Valley. read more

Moge Tee is a brand established in 2012 from China Mainland, I would assume it's the first one that open in San Diego, what interests me was the ad on Facebook saying "free boba" for 3 days straight, so I thought as my Elite duty I would come here, support the place, even brought my Mom with me, again with the strategy of advertising 101, it has a * right next to the free boba part, then there's a tiny print at the bottom saying "the promo is limited to one free bubble topping add per drink" meaning you need to pay for the drink then you get the free topping, but guess how many people would read that, probably not many :) As I arrived, I notice the screen also displayed something called "free golden boba apply for all sizes", so you need to distinguish between boba as a topping and boba as a drink for short, because you will get confused and maybe over excited, or maybe you could just call me a fool because it's my first time at this boba place. Anyway I was waiting for my turn and there was only 2 staff members behind the kitchen making drinks, I was not greeted by them, I had to get one of them to finally get my attention, I said Hello, then ask if I could redeem my "Golden Boba" assuming it was a drink :) silly me, the employee informed me that it is a free topping I could add to my drink order :) ok now I need to take a look at the menu to decide which one I would buy, the problem is a bit awkward when the employee told me to take as much time as I like to let him know which drink that I want, I don't know if it's just me, but I was somehow feeling offended like I came in for a "free drink" then now he said that like I was hesitated to buy or maybe I can't pay for my drink :) oh well I gotta admit though, some other boba places that I had been on a grand opening had a better deal, like a Bogo, so my original plan was to get one for me, maybe buy one for my Mom, but the situation went otherwise :) The medium drink for brown sugar milk tea is about $7, I felt it's also a bit higher than others, could be just me, I don't know :) Besides the golden boba that was added to the drink, I couldn't see if it was golden or not, because of the brown sugar and milk mixed up. I hope they can improve in the future, I mean if it was "free boba drink" for 3 days, I could have seen a big line out the door on a Saturday, and maybe tomorrow Sunday, probably even more. This is a new boba tea place in mission valley! It is located next to the busy Ralph's grocery store. We have been wanting a boba shop in mission valley and it is finally happening. The store is newly renovated and neatly decorated. We came here on Thursday night for their soft opening and ordered their Regular Boba Milk Tea. The golden boba was soft and the black tea was not bad. I personally like the milk tea with strong tea flavor and theirs is okay. Not bad, but not the most memorable. We came back again Sunday for their grand opening weekend. Everything is buy one get one 50% off!! We decided to try some of more expensive and elaborate drinks on the menu. The Super fruit four season oolong tea was great. It's refreshing and includes fresh fruits. I would say it's on par or better than other tea places serving fruit teas. I initially wanted 30% sugar because I don't like very sweet teas. The lady taking the orders knew their teas and said that the fruit tea has lemon juice, so it can be sour if the sugar level is low. I changed my to 50%. The drink turned out great. We also ordered their Mango Pomelo which was amazing!!! The lightly salted cheese form was fabulous with sweet mango and pomelo. I wasn't expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's basically an dessert with mango and toppings. I would totally get it again. I've been wanting to try Moge and it did not disappoint! It's a self service kiosk for ordering which is nice because you can see photos of the drinks and make it what you want (an introvert's dream). Cute place with about 5 tables or so to hang out and enjoy if you want. I kept it simple and just got a milk tea. I really enjoyed their boba it was soft and I believe golden boba as it wasn't the typical black pearls you get elsewhere but light brown. The tea itself was strong and I got half sweet which was perfect. I will definitely come back to try more of the menu! read more

While the self-service order kiosk is convenient, it's a bit of a pain having to wait for the person in front of you scroll through the menu for 5 minutes to decide their drinks (Understandably so, the TV menu is all words, no photos). Only the (2) kiosks have pictures of drinks so you really can't start looking at the extensive menu until you're up in line. The pricing is similar to the more expensive tea shops in convoy. (A large comes out to $8 with one topping). However I find it to be watered down/no flavor. This is coming from a person that doesn't like super sweet drinks. You can have flavorful tea without it being sweet but this is just not it. I've been here twice so far and none of the 4 drinks we got hit the spot. (Rose milk tea, Mango tea slush, yogurt avocado tea and brown sugar) I hope the place makes some improvements because we really needed a boba shop in MV. For now, I'll be driving 2 exits down to Convoy for my boba fix! read more

Looked promising, but is a little bit disappointing. My first time here with my boyfriend and we got the taro tofu pudding milk tea and the brown sugar milk tea. We got mediums and they seem awfully small for how expensive it was. I like that the drinks aren't overly sweet and the boba is a good consistency. However, the milk tea tastes really watered down and just overall not that good considering the price. The brown sugar milk tea did not have much brown sugar taste at all and similarly with the taro, I didn't get much taro flavor either. I'm interested in how their other drinks taste since they have very good reviews. The inside has a very nice and bright ambiance, with a good amount of available tables and seating. The service was quick and they do have a self order kiosk which streamlines ordering pretty well in my opinion.
