Lots of choices...kinda overwhelming but options for everyone in your party, that's for sure. It took me awhile to go through the menu. I wanted tot try something different. So, I did their Strawberry Matcha Latte. Next time I will try their one of their milk foam tea's. Thai tea float or Jasmine Tea float sounded good, too! Ummmmm, It's Boba Time is so good, after having dinner at Olleh my husband and I decided we'd get a SLT (sweet little treat). The menu is pretty extensive and I was a little overwhelmed and was really happy when I saw that they sold crispy chicken I knew I would have to come back during the week day. I ended up ordering the pistachio matcha milk tea with matcha topping and boba while my husband order the pistachio oreo shake. We ordered through their machine which allowed us to custom the sweetness and toppings so it was really efficient. The cafe itself is really busy but there's plenty of space and lots of little tables to wait and drink your drink and do some work. The service is really fast and when I got the chance to taste my drink I was so glad that I had it at 75% sweetness, it was perfect. Then I tried my husbands shake and oh my God, I am so jealous the bits of pistachio and oreo was so good. The pistachio is definitely more prominent which is alright with me because it's delicious! I haven't tried the food but some of their drinks are solid. I've tried this spot out a few items and the only thing I like is their peach-lychee fruit tea and lychee-strawberry fruit tea. It gets packed inside during peak hours but the staff are well trained and are able to keep up with the demanding environment from what I've observed thus far. A kid named Joseph helped me a few times and suggested different fruit teas on different occasions since I'm lactose intolerant. He even brought out my drink to me the first time I came to study because I lost track of time while studying which is why I wanted to throw his name out there. Very sweet kid along with some of the other young staff. The rest of the staff have been kind and patient when I've come in to order. They go out of their way to explain the drinks to me when I have questions and I always ask what their favorite drink is to try :) I would come back just to chat and try out the drinks they suggest sometimes. The staff are all young but they're all hard workers. Some of the drinks on the menu weren't my style (like the honey dew slush) but overall the vibe of the place is pretty solid. I like coming here to study on my down time. The music is . . . Aight and it's sometimes hectic inside but this kind of environment helps me lock in. The interior is well lit, regularly cleaned, and the bathrooms are always clean/stocked. I would recommend it over Yun if you're lactose intolerant or trying to avoid dairy. It is nearly impossible to park in the mall area as all the spots are perpetually taken. I'm always on the hunt for good boba tea places and I think this one is my new go-to and here are a couple reasons why: Located along convoy street and it's in the corner suite which you can see from the street. As with most locations along convoy parking can be tough depending on when you go. The interior is very welcoming - clean, modern and very IG worthy. I was also impressed by their menu which has lot of variety and options such as alternative milks. I especially like the taro series and got one of the drinks in the series - taro coconut smoothie with boba. So delicious with its creamy flavor, coconut pudding and chewy boba that I literally drank it in 5 minutes. As for the price, it's pretty much in line with other boba places and each addition and alternative milk will cost you around $0.75 extra. read more

This is the review for their matcha einspanner. I have tried many matcha spots but most of them are either too bitter or too milky. This place is awesome! I have come here once before and I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with how many options there are. There's drinks and drink customizations, just as you would expect at an average boba spot except that they stand out in their quality of ingredients. Big parking lot, plenty of parking for a weekday at noon. They're open open 7 days week 11a-10p. They have an app. You can order ahead of time and earn points. I should've done that before ordering and honestly I wish the girl at register told me about it. She didn't ask if I had the app or promote it. I saw a poster of it when I walked in. This place is cute. Shout out to my friend for putting me on. We had a group hangout here and spent about an hour just chilling and drinking our drinks. I ordered the Galaxy and the Matcha float. Both were really yummy. I think I would reorder the matcha float again. It wasn't too busy when we went but I heard it gets busy. They have indoor seating with different sized tables so there are some that are big enough for groups. We did order some chicken and that was really good. I would order that again too. I was picking up something at the bakery in the same plaza and wanted a refreshing drink. You can order at the counter or use the self serve order screen. I don't come here often so it was helpful to see a screen dedicated to all of their top drinks. I opted for most popular drink #2 the pistachio frappe and the #5 strawberry coconut slush with rainbow jelly add on. My drink was refreshing. I reduced the sweetness to 50% so it was like having a not so sweet milky slushee with real strawberry bits. We've had the pistachio frappe before but today it wasn't blended well. Chunks of unblended pistachio hit my throat when drinking it. Not a pleasant feeling. This location is quite roomy. Once you order there's a whole half of the store you can stand while you wait. There are a few small tables for anyone that wants to chat, study or hangout. This plaza can get particularly packed during lunch and dinner time. I also ordered a popcorn chicken and the crisp was on point! A bit over breaded than I'm used to and missing flavor. No seasoning on it at all-definitely something they could improve on. You definitely need the dipping sauce that they offer upon ordering. Other than that, the chicken was juicy, not overcooked or dry. I would like to try their taiyaki next if I'm ever out here again. Would've given 5 stars if the chicken had some flavor by itself.. The service was good-the cashier and the girl working the pick up counter were friendly and welcoming! All i ever order when I come here is their Taro Oreo Smoothie. It is SO good! Their fruit teas on the other hand...the butterfly tea one or galaxy one with the stars, whatever. It was literally water. It's a nope for me. Avoid at all costs. The staff here seems very stagnant. We decided to stop by this boba shop before heading to the beach since they open early. They've been around for a while in San Diego, but I remember not being too impressed during my last visit. They offer oat milk :D I was craving a jasmine oat milk tea and saw they offer that here so here I am...seemingly forever in search of a great jasmine oat milk boba in SD. Is it great here? No. But it's not really bad. At least the boba wasn't hard in the middle (I don't know why so many boba places in SD do that). The boba was slightly on the firm side. I did get a clump of about 6-7 stuck together that I couldn't break apart. The jasmine tea? Not bitter which was good but it was lacking the lightness, floral aroma and the flavor was kind of odd. It almost tasted like a low quality jasmine green tea that got mixed with some black tea. The color of the milk tea was darker beige/brown which is more consistent with a black tea. I make jasmine green milk teas at home and order them all the time at bubble tea places - typically the color is a very light yellowy beige. I did ask and was told that the jasmine milk tea is made with green tea. So I'm not sure what it is but I personally don't like it. read more
