We were actually headed to another shop but no close parking plus it started pouring. It's Boba Time was right in front of our stall. We checked out its menu and liked it much more so Doc ran in to get our drinks. My lychee slush was good and refreshing. Nice change from iced coffee or tea.
A bigger boba shop on the inside than the outside. Plenty of open seating for parties of any size. Stopped in to grab boba for dessert and the menu blew me away with how extensive it is. Staff was pleasant and definitely busy. The drinks were a little sweet to my tastes, I probably should have requested half sweetness but I know for next time. Pricing wise is pretty standard for most boba places in the area, only deterrent for me to return is the parking lot.

Ummmmm, It's Boba Time is so good, after having dinner at Olleh my husband and I decided we'd get a SLT (sweet little treat). The menu is pretty extensive and I was a little overwhelmed and was really happy when I saw that they sold crispy chicken I knew I would have to come back during the week day. I ended up ordering the pistachio matcha milk tea with matcha topping and boba while my husband order the pistachio oreo shake. We ordered through their machine which allowed us to custom the sweetness and toppings so it was really efficient. The cafe itself is really busy but there's plenty of space and lots of little tables to wait and drink your drink and do some work. The service is really fast and when I got the chance to taste my drink I was so glad that I had it at 75% sweetness, it was perfect. Then I tried my husbands shake and oh my God, I am so jealous the bits of pistachio and oreo was so good. The pistachio is definitely more prominent which is alright with me because it's delicious! I looked at the menu online and they have a horchata matcha milk tea and next time I really want a milk tea and crispy chicken you'll find me here.
One of my favorite places for Boba in Kearny Mesa. There's so many options! But when in doubt, this place has just the flavors you need! There is even a top 20 list of their most popular drinks! Convenient location for a quick in and out. You can order with a cashier or the screen. My recommendation Pistachio frappe Thai tea and Okinawa
Best boba in this big blue ball really the best It's cute to have a sealed top boba cup but what I like better is a 64 oz with three inches of bobas(cost extra but worth it) black tea with almost milk and 1/5 sugar best drink on earth best place to get it great music, noce seats and table, friendly helpful staff, clean bathrooms, takes Apple Pay, very close disabled parking spots If you could marry a boba shop I would propose to 'it's boba time' in a heartbeat:)

I think I'd rather get regular drinks here than matcha. service: they're okay, they'll get upset sometimes when they call people's names or orders and they're not there in time. it's understandable at the same time. ambiance: this place is really cute! i love the vibes and people definitely do come and just chill at the tables talking. i love the decor!
Been here quite a few times for their smoothies and they're good. Came again to try their new double matcha and it was mid, I wouldn't get it again. The matcha taste wasn't strong enough and it tasted more sweet and milky than matcha.
Yun tea is a little too sophisticated for my kid's palette so we ran over here for some fruity slush drinks. ordered the lychee slush with boba.. she loved it! if you're on the prowl for boba on the daily- check out their daily specials! I love that they don't charge extra for boba topping- makes complete sense to offer boba as a standard. Guy behind the counter was nice but he needs to call orders out louder and say it with his chest- our lychee slush sat there melting buyer beware, they don't take AMEX.

It gets packed inside during peak hours but the staff are well trained and are able to keep up with the demanding environment from what I've observed thus far. A kid named Joseph helped me a few times and suggested different fruit teas on different occasions since I'm lactose intolerant. He even brought out my drink to me the first time I came to study because I lost track of time while studying which is why I wanted to throw his name out there. Very sweet kid along with some of the other young staff. The rest of the staff have been kind and patient when I've come in to order. They go out of their way to explain the drinks to me when I have questions and I always ask what their favorite drink is to try :) I would come back just to chat and try out the drinks they suggest sometimes. The staff are all young but they're all hard workers. Some of the drinks on the menu weren't my style (like the honey dew slush) but overall the vibe of the place is pretty solid. I like coming here to study on my down time. The music is . . . Aight and it's sometimes hectic inside but this kind of environment helps me lock in. The interior is well lit, regularly cleaned, and the bathrooms are always clean/stocked. I would recommend it over Yun if you're lactose intolerant or trying to avoid dairy. I'm always on the hunt for good boba tea places and I think this one is my new go-to and here are a couple reasons why: Located along convoy street and it's in the corner suite which you can see from the street. As with most locations along convoy parking can be tough depending on when you go. The interior is very welcoming - clean, modern and very IG worthy. I was also impressed by their menu which has lot of variety and options such as alternative milks. I especially like the taro series and got one of the drinks in the series - taro coconut smoothie with boba. So delicious with its creamy flavor, coconut pudding and chewy boba that I literally drank it in 5 minutes. As for the price, it's pretty much in line with other boba places and each addition and alternative milk will cost you around $0.75 extra.
Drinks very good coffee one definitely was strong it was good. Service well it's self serve ordering Place has a lot of seating and tables I was actually able to work from there for a bit. Only down side it was hot in there I really like fact has a lot windows very quiet place. They do get waves of people coming in and out read more
Had very low expectations, but since it's been here for a long time I thought, "wow how are they still in business when better boba places exist?" I ordered the thai tea with boba and it was surprisingly good! Not sure if it had any caffeine cause I drank it at 9pm but still slept fine. Makes you wonder if there's any actual tea in there. The inside feels like a fast food restaurant with the way it's setup but also has a photobooth if you're into that. You can order through the employee or through a kiosk here. read more

This spot has a lot of different flavors and lots of varieties of drinks like smoothies, shakes, teas, frappes, etc. All of the drinks I've tried so far have been delicious, but depending on how busy it is it can be a bit of a wait. read more

Ordered a Tiger sugar milk tea and honestly it seems like I just got milk with boba. Looked nothing like the menu picture and it seemed to be missing the whole "Tiger Sugar" part of the drink. read more
This place is awesome! I have come here once before and I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with how many options there are. There's drinks and drink customizations, just as you would expect at an average boba spot except that they stand out in their quality of ingredients. A real bonus is that this place is big enough to see big groups of young people on any given weekday. I like being around people just talking casually about their days and going on dates! So cute & sweet. My drink: PB Banana + oreo Food: popcorn chicken & fries (how could I resist?? His drink: Taro milktea w/ bob I enjoyed everything. Big parking lot, plenty of parking for a weekday at noon. They're open open 7 days week 11a-10p. They have an app. You can order ahead of time and earn points. I should've done that before ordering and honestly I wish the girl at register told me about it. She didn't ask if I had the app or promote it. I saw a poster of it when I walked in. I downloaded it after sitting down to kill time and I could have got 20% off my first order. They also have a kiosk at the front to order from. We were 2nd in line. I decided to just wait and order. They have more than just boba here. They also have food like chicken and fries, desserts like macarons and sliced cake. Nice and clean inside. We ordered from top 20 menu mango smoothie w/ boba Tiger sugar milk w/ boba My mango smoothie was ok. At least it was blended all the way. I've got to boba spots with ice chunks. Boba was good- it's the only free add on. Others are 75 cents. My daughter got the tiger sugar milk and she liked it. I would come here again and try other flavors and their food. read more

This place is cute. Shout out to my friend for putting me on. We had a group hangout here and spent about an hour just chilling and drinking our drinks. I ordered the Galaxy and the Matcha float. Both were really yummy. I think I would reorder the matcha float again. It wasn't too busy when we went but I heard it gets busy. They have indoor seating with different sized tables so there are some that are big enough for groups. We did order some chicken and that was really good. I would order that again too. I think in general I would probably do its boba time to go next time since I heard it can get busy. Looking forward to dropping in again. read more
We ordered the house milk tea & it was very disappointing. I should have ordered my go to drink which is the coconut strawberry. The cups were cutely decorated for Halloween. This place is nice to hangout I would not recommend studying here because it's too loud. read more

My fiancé loves this place. Every time we're in the city and makes his drive here. I'm not a big fan but their drinks are good. They have a large selection to choose from so you'll find something you like. Today I tried their strawberry banana shake. I'm more of a Raspberry banana girl so it's hard to find that kick on the strawberry. Overall it's good ! read more

All i ever order when I come here is their Taro Oreo Smoothie. It is SO good! Their fruit teas on the other hand...the butterfly tea one or galaxy one with the stars, whatever. It was literally water. It's a nope for me. Avoid at all costs. The staff here seems very stagnant. They don't really seem to enjoy their job, there is this one guy who had the quietest voice ever, he wasn't speaking into the mic correctly. I literally could not hear what orders were being called out. There are some days this place gets BUSY. The wait is kind of long, not my go-to boba spot but again something about the taro oreo smoothie just keeps me coming back... read more

Ordered the - Green Tea Shaved Ice: This shaved ice was just alright. Banana was very overpowering. Mango was unripe. Green tea ice cream on top tasted a little off. Overall, it was good but nothing special. - Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea: This drink was good! Light Jasmine tea flavor and the matcha flavor paired well together! - Thai Tea Float: I believe I got less sweet and it was still a bit too sweet for me. We decided to stop by this boba shop before heading to the beach since they open early. They've been around for a while in San Diego, but I remember not being too impressed during my last visit. I thought l'd give them another try. The interior is bright and has a nice modern feel to it. I ordered their regular milk tea and the tiger sugar milk tea. Unfortunately, this visit was consistent with my previous experience - I walked away disappointed. The milk tea tasted a bit watery, and the boba were harder and chewier than I prefer. I probably won't be back here again. read more
