This Jamba has become our neighborhood go-to for a reason because it's quick, friendly, and always delivers exactly what we need, whether it's a refreshing pick-me-up or a family immunity boost. Located conveniently in Kearny Mesa, it's perfect for those errand-running days when you need something fast, healthy, and satisfying. Our house favorite is the Strawberry Surfrider--tart, sweet, and so refreshing, especially with extra strawberries. It's the kind of treat that even our little ones look forward to, and it gives me peace of mind knowing we're getting a little vitamin boost too. We've also tried the waffles, wheatgrass shots, and their chocolate milk. Everything is consistently good. The staff here deserves a shoutout because they're always upbeat, efficient, and attentive. Even when it's busy, they get through the line quickly and still take the time to get custom orders right. They never skimp on ingredients and the drinks are blended perfectly every time. The store is clean, bright, and well-stocked. If you're in the area and craving something refreshing that actually feels good for your body, this Jamba won't let you down.

Every visit the staff is extremely friendly, the restaurant is clean, to include the bathrooms. I have never had a problem with my orders being the right way and the staff will always make a recommendation of a good smoothie.

Pretty quiet compared to other locations, not as much traffic. Nice staff, clean store. Good drinks! Highly recommend the cranberry pomegranate with coconut whip while it lasts!

We occasionally visit this Jamba Juice location when we happen to be in the area. I wish I could just order off the app, but unfortunately my favorite drink is old school and not on the app. Pomegranate Pick me up, absolute fav! When I order here the young'uns sometimes look at me like what are you ordering and start looking around. No... it's not on your current menu, but yes you can still make it! Thankfully usually a manager is there or someone who knows what I'm ordering. During the holidays they had this promotion where you earn $5 reward cards for purchasing first cards in $25 amounts. Cool! You earn points for the gift card purchase and get a reward too! Win win! :) The store itself is a good size, always clean, but the parking lot is horrendous! Staff is friendly and Thankfully the wait is not long here!

Came here this morning before work and got probably the best customer service. The young man behind the counter was super sweet, especially since it was so early in the morning (7am). I ordered the PB & Banana Protein. One of my favorites. I was in and out of there in less than 5 mins. He was fast and sweet. Thanks Jamba Juice for a great start to my day.

"Man, we should have ditched that RV months ago. It's all like shiny up in here." -Jesse Pinkman No, I know Jamba wasn't started in a RV... but my point is that, "It is like all shiny up in this place!" This brand new Jamba opened around beginning of the new year January 2022. For me, it's a nice addition to the area because the location in Mission Valley closed (was a few doors from Einstein Bros Bagels). I mean who doesn't like a smoothie or acai once in a while? Menu is pretty much the same. Looks like they just upgraded the aesthetics of their menu display. I ordered one of my favorites... Peanut Butter Moo'd. Still delicious! As far as seating, it looks like they could squeeze a few more tables and chairs in here. I count 3 tables and bar style seating with 3 chairs. It could be they are limiting seating due to COVID though. One thing I noticed and liked immediately is that the tables have outlets including USB charging! Great for students or people that want to do some work outside of home. Didn't see any outlets at the bar style seating though. The service here is good. The gal behind the counter was friendly. The guy that made and served up our smoothies was nice as well. Only negative about this Jamba is the parking at this shopping center is not very good at peak times. And spaces are small so sometimes people purposely take up two spots or do so inadvertently. 4 / 5 - Smoothies 4 / 5 - Service 4 / 5 - Cleanliness 4 / 5 - Atmosphere 4 / 5 - Overall

Terrance is a real nice professional gentleman he immediately took action and defused a situation that was escalating drastically! Couldn't ask for a better employee to take care of everything and the drinks he made came out 10/10 ! Definitely would come back !

This Jamba Juice is located in a small plaza and has a decent amount of parking! The lot does fill up on busy days but it's not too crowded to where you can't find parking. This location is very clean and spacious. There's a decent amount of tables inside and staff is very friendly! I love Jamba Juice but their prices have dramatically increased and their sizes are just getting smaller and smaller. I ordered a small Pumpkin Smash (seasonal drink) and paid about $5 using my $3 coupon from the app. If I were to pay full price, it would have been about $8 for a small smoothie that wasn't even filled to the top! Sadly, this is not the only location I've been to that does this. Despite the drink not being filled to the top, I enjoyed the Pumpkin Smash flavor! This drink tasted like a Pumpkin Spice smoothie. It wasn't too milky to be a milkshake which is why it tasted like a smoothie! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and I definitely wanted more! I definitely recommend trying this flavor before it's gone since it is a seasonal drink!

A new Jamba Juice next to Ross on Mercury in Kearny Mesa. I've been wanting to try their Bold N Cold Brew with a Sweet Cloud Whip. It was tasty, perhaps a little sweeter than I would of liked, but still quite good. The cold brew itself was very good. It flavorful and smooth. They do put a lot of ice in the beverage, so if you are not into that, you may want to have them reduce the amount. The young lady at the counter was very nice. This location offer nice seating inside, but no outside seating yet. That would be a nice addition.

Delicious smoothies, quick and friendly service at a great price. I will definitely go back there.

Great staff, greeted upon entry. The cashier was extremely friendly. Cleaner location than some Jamba juices especially college grove and Chula Vista on H streets. This location is located in Kearny Mesa next to dollar tree and Ross. The mango a go go is temporarily unavailable. However the plant based watermelon breeze and smoothe talkin mango are delicious. I get them both with soy vanilla it adds an extra level of creaminess. Parking can be a nightmare at this location due to several business in this particular plaza.

I will always recommend Jamba but especially California Jamba. It's my favorite, no flavor is bad. Love adding daily vitamins and energy boosts, love trying the seasonal flavors!

I went with a godfather sandwich and the first thing I noticed is that the sandwich is absolutely stuffed. They are not shy about putting meat in here which I appreciate as sometimes sandwich spots give a less than desirable amount. I was also surprised at how good the Dutch crunch I chose tasted (it had a slight chew but was also fluffy at the same time). It definitely wasn't the cheapest sandwich (after tax it was around 19 bucks) but based on the ingredients and amount of meat I'd say it's fair value!

I heard they're going to start serving beer and wine soon as well! *Best 1st-timer options*: The Keeper (if you like it spicy) or the L.G.B.T. My favorite hot sandwiches are the Cali Cubano, B3, and The Keeper, while my favorite cold sandwiches are the Avocado Highway, L.G.B.T. (lettuce, gouda, bacon, tomato), and Caprese. My favorite salads are the Grapevine and Duck Cranberry. For sides I recommend the potato salad and tomato basil bisque. The aioli they use is to die for -- can't hurt to get a side of it with any sandwich! The restaurant is situated on the corner of Park Blvd. and Polk Ave. (more generally, it's on the strip of Park Blvd. between University Ave. and El Cajon Blvd.). There is usually a good amount of parking on Park Blvd. and Polk Ave., which is nice. The space has a simple-yet-tasteful modern design and interior, is always clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Great for lunch hour or a weekend date. Update: Came back today with my friend and we ordered the B3 and the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwiches, plus sides of potato salad and cucumber salad, and a double chocolate cookie with pistachio and sea salt. Everything was really good, but the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwich was the star of the show. The cookie was great too. We both agreed the potato salad could use some salt, but besides that it was a solid meal all around.

Big Front Door has quickly become a new favorite for sandwiches, and visiting two days in a row…read moremade that very clear. On the first visit, Zack provided exceptional care and attention while helping navigate food allergies. Zack took the time to carefully check ingredients, double-check preparations, and personally come back out to verify everything to ensure safety. That level of care made the experience feel genuinely welcoming and stress-free. The chicken sandwich was fresh, satisfying, and thoughtfully balanced. Juicy chicken, ripe tomatoes, creamy avocado, and a bright splash of oil and vinegar came together beautifully on Big Front Door's roll, which had a great texture and held everything together well. The flavors were clean and vibrant. A little extra salt would have pushed it over the top for a salt-lover, but that came down to personal preference rather than any shortcoming. A dining companion ordered the avocado sandwich and could not stop raving about it, praising both the flavor and the freshness. The outdoor seating area deserves special mention. The shaded space was perfect as I do have sun allergies, especially for anyone who prefers relief from direct sun. The care taken in food preparation added an extra layer of comfort and trust. The second visit somehow raised the bar even higher. Micah went above and beyond to accommodate physical ability needs with patience, attentiveness, and genuine kindness. That effort did not go unnoticed and made the experience feel deeply respectful and inclusive. The roasted chicken sandwich ordered on the second visit was phenomenal. The roasted chicken was tender, savory, and full of depth, elevating the sandwich even further. Adding a bit of extra salt brought all the ingredients into perfect harmony, making every bite more satisfying than the last. This sandwich has officially earned a spot as a new favorite sandwich. Big Front Door was amazing not just for delicious, thoughtfully prepared food, but for the people who work there. Zack and Micah created an environment where care, kindness, and respect were clearly prioritized. No moment felt rushed, dismissive, or uncomfortable. At no point did anyone make the experience feel like a burden or inconvenience. A sincere thank-you also goes to the team members who prepared the food. Even without knowing names, the care taken to keep guests safer while serving delicious nourishment was evident and deeply appreciated. Big Front Door comes highly recommended for the flavorful sandwiches, the shaded outdoor space, the welcoming atmosphere, outstanding customer service, and the genuine kindness shown at every action.

I came in and immediately the woman working in the front I could tell was rude and radiating negative energy. I am witnessing a common theme about this with many of the other people who have left negative reviews about this establishment. You guys also seem to reply and pretend like you resolve the issue but there have been multiple review follow-ups where people claim you guys do not actually make up for the horrible service. Anyway, I walk in and immediately I have to wait a long time to order and I can tell that the guy in front of me has been there a while already. Finally, I place my order and the lady is so awfully rude. Every answer I had for her questions made me feel that I had done something wrong even though I was very nice and just there for a simple thing: to get a sandwich. I usually greet people and ask how they are doing but she got directly to business. I understand that she was busy but she was immediately unwelcoming. "What kind of bread would you like?" (I do not see the bread on the menu when I immediately look up so I reply, "white (I will admit there are many different types of bread but I did not know what they have and usually when I order somewhere I just say white and they know what I am talking about or politely ask for clarification) *she rolls her eyes* "french, sourdough, Dutch?" Then, she asked me if I wanted lettuce and tomato. I replied, "just lettuce please" and again she makes me feel dumb for just ordering. I ask if the sandwich comes with mayonnaise because it was not listed but there were additional items on it and she says that they do not have mayonnaise but another sauce as if mayonnaise is a crazy request. "Can I get a name for the order?" "Jessica" "Jessica?" like my name is ugly or something and not like she could not hear me. At this point I am picking apart everything that she uttered but seriously such an unhappy woman with no hospitality skills. Trust me on this and either experience it yourself or read some other 1-star reviews if you do not believe me. She then walked away as I was still paying so I could not even ask for a receipt or anything. This was essentially the extent of my direct experience with the woman in the front but I witnessed more things happening to other customers while I was waiting for my sandwich for a really long time. Apparently an order kept getting rung up and people kept coming in trying to pick it up but it had already been picked up and the woman would say "communicate this. someone already picked it up" with a huge attitude like it was their fault there was a glitch in the system. I also took notice that there was a big order for 4:30 and when the order was finished, one of the male workers went over and served himself a drink from the soft drinks dispenser and when he was handing the woman all of the many bags, he took a break to take a drink out of his cup. I think it also important that I add she had already been given 5-6 bags and was caring a lot and he was not coughing and desperately needed water and I do not even think there was water in the cup. I will also say though that all of the customers waiting were very friendly and understanding that they were busy and I am too but there was no reason to be rude and lack the principles of basic costumer service. I work with people too and we all have bad days but by the looks of these other reviews, this is a very common occurrence. I am glad people are willing to speak up about this. Another thing I noticed was that apparently someone's order was not in the system and they made the person feel so bad for it and that it was their fault except with all of these problems, it is highly likely that this could have been the establishment's fault but they never even entertained this. I might also add that the woman that took my order when she was making sandwiches I saw her cough into her hands (no gloves mind you) and then grab the *at least it was* wrapped sandwich and put it in the bag. I wanted to try this place because it was close to my campus and I will say that the sandwich tasted good but it was nowhere near worth the horrible aura I experience while being at Ike's. I will surely never spend another dime at Ike's and encourage my friends to not support a business that does not prioritize cleanliness and kindness. Even when they packed up my order, the same man who was taking sip breaks handing a woman her order, was throwing my stuff together and gave me a tiny bag when he saw I was also holding my chips and drink. That was not very thoughtful if you ask me but I would not expect thoughtfulness after what I had already endured from this sandwich joint. I think Ike's would benefit from a personality change and should consider improving their warmth and helpful nature.
