Nice clean location with seating and a restroom. Service was great and selection was good. Ample parking in the strip mall and some other stores you can visit while you're here.

I'm not someone who usually leaves bad reviews, but after the complete disaster I just experienced with Baskin-Robbins, I'm honestly left with no choice. I ordered a custom ice cream cake for my fiancé's birthday--paid extra to have a custom image printed on it--and followed their requirement of placing the order at least 48 hours in advance. Pick-up day comes, and I'm handed a completely blank cake. When I asked what happened to the image I paid for, the employee shrugged and said, "uhhh I don't know, I think our printer is broken or something." So for two whole days, no one thought it would be a good idea to let me know the image couldn't be printed? No call, no text, no email--nothing. Trying to salvage the situation, I asked if they could at least write a simple "Happy Birthday" or my fiancé's age on the cake. The response? "Sorry, we can't do that until Wednesday, our decorator isn't here." Seriously? Writing a few words requires a specialist that's unavailable for three more days? I even asked if they had any "Happy Birthday" signs or decorations to throw on top of the cake. Nope--nothing. No help. No apology. No solution. DO NOT use this business for any special event unless you're prepared for disappointment and to have your event completely ruined. They will take your money, botch your order, and make zero effort to fix their mess. They ruined what was supposed to be a meaningful celebration.

It was sooo good!

My last experience at Baskin-Robbin's Mira mesa location was already amazing. However, this location was even better! When I got inside, I was greeted by friendly staff, and noticed that the place was really clean. However, the ice cream was absolutely delicious! I ordered one scoop of Twix caramel crunch along with one scoop of their Oreo n cold brew flavor, and both were sensational. The Twix caramel crunch had great caramel flavor and a good crunchy topping, which texturally paired really well with the creamy ice cream, while the Oreo n cold brew contained mixed in Oreo pieces that added a great element to an already phenomenal coffee ice cream! Overall, considering the relatively low prices, this spot definitely worth visiting!

Cake too large for box

We had the best birthday celebration because of their character cake! Cake was beautiful and extra cold/frozen so it made it home with plenty of time to sing and cut with friends -and that says a lot during a hot summer night. Best surprise was that Barbie had legs!! I had no idea it was a full doll to keep when I purchased. I didn't think to ask. Assumed it was just the top half since the dress was the ice cream cake. Lots of cakes available in the evening to choose from last minute. Customer service was great, they made a sign for Barbie to hold that was a cookie. See pic! They boxed it as best they could but unfortunately the cake was too large so the dress had parts pressed up against the box all around. Still made for a great cake!

Awesome cakes

I have always enjoyed Baskin Robins since I was a child . I brought my daughters here for clown ice cream cones , custom party cakes and now I am bringing my grandchild here too . It's such a good ice cream quality many flavors , shakes, cones & scoops for everyone . They sell pints in cooler & cakes to go as well . Friendly service and clean atmosphere .

I surprised my boyfriend with a favorite memory from the 80s for his birthday--a banana split pie! Manager Debbie has worked there 30 years (I'm so glad to have found her!), so she knew what to do. It was epic! We appreciated it so so much. It was delicious too.

Came in tonight after dinner and everything was amazing. Owen was very helpful and quick to assist. We got 3 scoops, and everything was perfect. The restrooms were clean, and the tables were clean. The parking lot has lots of parking so coming in the summer will be easy !

The ice cream is rich and creamy, and the sundaes are generously portioned. Only deducted a star because the lines can get long, but it's worth the wait!

I hadn't been to Baskin Robbins in ages. I stopped by the location in Clairmont, centrally located on Balboa Ave., SD, for one of their new so-called "Creature Creations". These creations are so cute! For just $3.69 get a large scoop of your choice of icecream, choose from creamy icecream options with cookies, chocolate, caramel and more! Then it's your choice of a mermaid or unicorn creature. I took my Unicorn treat to-go. Service was quick and my treat was topped with sprinkles and a mermaid tail piece of white chocolate. My icecream was delicious! It was soft, creamy, just sweet enough with lots of caramel sauce with a nutty snickers-bar taste. A great and fun treat :)

Fast friendly service. I tried a Winter white chocolate and caramel cappuccino cheesecake sundae.  Both ice creams were good.  They have plenty of flavors so their is always something new to try. Place is clean with the bathroom in a weird location.  Their are are 2 small tables in the back.  It gets a little crowded in the middle with people looking up and down the display at what ice cream is available.  They have outdoor seating.  A good place to get some great tasting ice cream.

Still my go to place when I'm craving something sweet and special. Their cakes may be pricey, but…read morein my opinion, for the amount of work, effort, and quality of ingredients, I think they continue to be fair. For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

Also just so everyone is aware they're also liars just to mention & stupid.. she tells us her name is Karen thinking we don't know the owners name lol .. She was at the register at 7:20pm and was extremely rude and dismissive after we placed our order, especially regarding a child's dietary restrictions and health concerns. We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently. This place has been going downhill , management for this place needs to step up .

One would think that, in such dark times, one could still find even a glimpse of hope in an ice cream cone. I was proven wrong, and my outlook on the current state of affairs only dimmed further. I ate my ice cream in two bites. Twenty dollars for two cones, four bites total. I didn't even bother feeding my son the pup cup. He deserves better. The world deserves better. Bigger portions. Bigger smiles. Makes perfect sense, in my humble opinion. I suppose your employees do not agree.

That interaction really put a damper on things, but we eventually ordered a few scoops and a few cookies. Thought the cookies were spot on again (warm from the oven).
