I usually get their smoothies here and my favorites are the MANGO - AGO - GO, CARABBEAN PASSION , ALOHA PINEAPPLE, but this time for a change I tried their Over Ice. I had the PEACH BERRY BLAST, not a big Fan of it and I didnt like it, it's not FRUITY enough. Next time I'm staying with their Smoothies. Service was okay, ample parking, plenty of stores nearby. Too much on the menu from what I last remembered, so I played it safe for nostalgic effect and got a medium Aloha Pineapple. Was told they're out of pineapple sherbert. :-/ Not gonna knock the price, because of inflation... it's expensive everywhere, but with that in mind, people are a little bit more conscious about where and how they spend. Was my Aloha Pineapple for $7.04, minus the pineapple sherbert, substituted with lime sherbert worth it? Not really. Was spending priceless "Father/Daughter" time with my grown daughter when we stopped into Jamba for a duo of protein-dense smoothies, the Berry Protein one for my daughter and the Peanut Butter Banana based one for Yours Truly. My daughter's smoothie was excellent- Ice cold, well blended not overly sweet and deeply satisfying. But my smoothie was served at near room temperature and partially unblended, to the extent that I had to ask them to reblend the smoothie because it was virtually undrinkable (unsippable?) due to the thicker than concrete texture of the original batch. I don't get to opportunity to go Jamba Juice too often, but after a hike in this current heat wave the Jamba Juice across the street was calling my name. I stress "Customer Experience" ALL the time. I had a great experience at this Jamba Juice for the 4-5 minutes that it lasted. I went in with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while. I remember that I used to get a mango smoothie drink. This time I got an Orange C booster. After we ordered my friend went to the bathroom and left her phone out. So I grabbed it, and left her a surprise. One of the summer cool employees posed with me for a photo that we left on her phone. Talk about leaving a surprise. When she got home she saw the phone and I can only imagine how hard she was laughing seeing me and the Jamba Juice staff dancing, singing and being silly on her camera roll all while she was in the bathroom. Looking over the reviews in my queue to write and this one is just sitting here daring me to remove it without saying anything. How many times have I crossed off a chain restaurant without thinking twice about it? How many people actually write an in-depth review for a Starbucks or a Carl's Jr.? Not sure why I'm compelled to even type any of this out. It's not like there's either anything important to relate or anyone beyond my small circle of friends that will bother reading this for a chuckle or just because it pops up on their feed. There's nothing special about it, nothing extra on their menu, and the people working there were nice enough and didn't spit in my smoothie (I'm assuming, anyway ... I'm kind of a jackass, I would deserve it). Just like every other Jamba Juice, it smells like someone just washed out a musty, old freezer with orange scented bleach and you won't go far wrong by getting either a Peanut Butter Moo'd or a Dream Machine. This place has taught me that you can actually taste Vitamin C. It's not as good as you'd think. I do want to say this, though. This location is a pain in the ass to get to. The shopping center it's centered in is along a main road where traffic usually skirts along at around 40+, making it a bit hairy turning into it when someone is right behind you. Then you drive around the block long parking lot, trying to navigate the outdoor mall maze, trying to find it, all in hopes of finally getting rid of that gift card that's been sitting in your wallet for close to a year. And, c'mon, we all like this place, but you know those gift cards are the only reason you go. Just stay away from their food; all of it has that prepackaged, fresh off the night truck look to it that screams, "I can just as easily be gotten out of a vending machine" look to it. Ordered 16 kids drinks for a birthday and the 2 women were very helpful and accommodating! They even let us take the extra juice that was left over! That's why the time-share salesman on the phone doesn't wear one when he calls you at dinnertime. Yet some nitwit at this particular Jamba Juice thought it was a good idea to have the background music cranked up to 11 so that no one could be heard without screaming. As I dutifully waited in line six feet away from my fellow customers, the dialog at the service counter went something like this: "MAY I PLEASE HAVE A DINGLEBERRY AND RAW OYSTER SMOOTHIE WITH FAKE SOY MILK AND SPRINKLES OF GRASS CLIPPINGS ON IT?" "WHAT SIZE?" "WHAT?" "WHAT?" "I WANT A DINGLEBERRY AND RAW OYSTER SMOOTHIE WITH FAKE SOY MILK AND SPRINKLES OF GRASS CLIPPINGS ON IT!" "LARGE, GARGANTUAN, OR MEGABIG?" and so on until the order was placed - perhaps even correctly. Of course this slowed the already glacial pace of commerce as the overworked pair of Jambarees raised the sound level even further by using outboard-motor-sized blenders to pulverize frozen chunks of who-knows-what into smoothies.
