Medium - Acai Bowl - (16 oz. 475 ml.)

The bowl was good. I enjoyed everything in it but I wish it had more fresh fruit. It's kind of a pain to get to if you're going just for an açaí bowl but if you're already in the mall it's a nice treat.

Superberry has become one of my favorite açaí spots! I love any açaí place that offers unlimited toppings so I always get all of the fruit, açaí, chia seed pudding, and peanut butter with an assortment of their toppings. My favorite part is that the acai isn't scooped from a tub, but blended and on the thinner side. I personally don't love the scooped acai so this is right up my alley. They make it fresh so it's pretty fast if there's no line and there's a small area of tables outside of the kiosk.

Good prices and sizes. Super quick and easy spot in the middle of the mall. Was nice to sit at the tables out front and eat our big bowls in the sunshine. Quality was okay but these other factors made it worth it.

this place has cracked the code! THEY LAYER THEIR ACAI BOWLS!! this is a game changer! i love acai bowls, but they are so difficult to eat because the acai is at the bottom and the toppings are all at the top! but not at this place! in every bite i was able to have acai and my toppings without making a mess! they have sitting right by the kiosk so it was nice to enjoy my acai bowl outside in the sun! there was only one person working and he was working pretty fast to take and make orders! when i am at UTC this will be my go to spot!

We found Superberry Acai at the Westfield UTC and decided to stop by to get an acai bowl while we were waiting to get a table at Din Tai Fung. I am honestly more of a pitaya base girlie, but this San Diego trip, I have only seen smoothie bowl places here have acai base. I did enjoy the acai from here though!! Normally acai base is too sweet for me and I typically don't like the consistency of how it's made, but I really liked this one! I also love that they do cups for their acai, much better for eating on the go + just easier to hold. It was the perfect snack while we strolled the mall and super refreshing.

I had passed by here just wandering around the shopping center waiting for a table at din tai fung. It was hot and i wanted a cup of acai, back home a close friend has an acai spot and they also serve them in cups which i kind of prefer for walking and eating etc just easier to hold. The acai tasted good, fresh toppings of your choice. Added chia, peanut butter, PB crunchy, and granola. I thought it was good overall but the acai was a bit more on the runny, watery side. Thanks for the snack!

Açaí bowl was actually tasty but not as frozen as expected. More soft serve açaí/smoothie texture than frozen scooped açaí from other places. Layering was novel and tasty but the toppings were so think and barely any was added so don't expect too much when it comes to toppings. Overall, tasty and hit the spot despite the more liquid texture and would go back again. It was definitely pricey though so be aware a small bowl was $13

She recently graduated from UCSD and this was her favorite smoothie (still is). My niece got the Frutopia smoothie and enjoyed her drink. I opted for a build-your-own açaí bowl. The bowl came with any 4 toppings, additional toppings varied it cost per item. I chose strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and new pollen. I also added sliced almonds and granola, topped with honey. The gal who helped build my açaí bowl (Acharipon, I probably butchered the spelling of her name), was very pleasant and had really great customer service skills. It's obvious she was well trained and had the skills set to work in food service. What sets this place apart from other places that sells smoothies and açaí bowls was the friendliness of their staff. Acharipon made a pretty bowl that was Yelp photo worthy! What I loved about my bowl: The açaí base was very frozen. Some other places make it watery, which I do not care for. I liked how it was frozen, down to the last spoon! The blueberries were frozen (I love frozen blueberries). Areas for improvement: The strawberries were frozen and chopped into tiny pieces. Fresh strawberries would've been nicer. The toppings options were limited. The shop was very clean and organized. There was a self-help kiosk where you placed your order, but payment was at the register. It seemed a bit odd that the kiosk didn't have the functionality to accept payments, because the order had to be re-confirmed at the register when it was already confirmed at the self-help kiosk. This slowed down the process slightly, which I didn't mind. Overall, I enjoyed the experience here and would definitely recommend it!

We waited about 30 minutes (Sunday afternoon rush), but it gave me plenty of time to explore the menu. I usually stick to a simple order, but with so many base options, I decided to "do it all," and I'm so glad I did. My son loved the pitaya and mango bases (and so did I). The blue coconut and classic açaí were excellent, and the blue chia topping was a fun and tasty surprise. All the fruit was extra fresh, and the granola added the perfect crunch. We absolutely loved everything and will definitely be back soon!

BLUE BOWL @ UCSD LA JOLLA…read more Parking is available, but I believe you have to pay if you park in the garage. I decided to just park along Gilman Drive, which is free, and walked about 20 minutes. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all -- it was a sunny day and there's plenty of street parking if you're willing to walk a bit. I've always loved Blue Bowl Superfoods in Oceanside. It's SO good and easily one of my favorite açaí spots, I could literally eat it every single day. I love all the customizations they offer, the variety of bases, and just how many ingredients they have. This time, I decided to visit their UCSD location, which is right in the middle of University of California San Diego's campus. They open around 10 AM on Saturdays (and typically around 8 AM on weekdays), and even right at opening there were already a lot of people waiting. My friend and I were still able to get in and out pretty quickly around 10. I ended up getting their mango passion base along with açaí. For toppings, I loaded it up strawberries, bananas, apples, blackberries, blueberries they truly have so many options. I also love their variety of nuts, seeds, and different types of nut butters. They really don't skimp on choices. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by. I was SO full after, and honestly, you could even split a bowl with a friend because they pack it generously. It's about $12 for a normal medium-sized bowl, which I think is worth it for the portion and quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The ambiance is nice it's more of a grab-your-bowl and then sit outside type of vibe, but there is indoor seating as well. Definitely one of my favorite açaí spots, and this location did not disappoint.

The rooftop location is super cool, open air with beautiful California sunshine and gorgeous views stretching all the way out to La Jolla beach. The colorful hanging fabrics give the whole space such a fun and vibrant energy. Our instructor was amazing, super patient and attentive with each of us to make sure we were doing the poses safely and correctly. I honestly surprised myself with how flexible I still am! The class gave us a really deep stretch and left me feeling relaxed and refreshed in a way I wasn't expecting. The space also has a big yoga dome right next door and a restaurant serving up a great selection of healthy food, which is a nice bonus before or after class. Just a couple things to keep in mind: parking can get tricky so give yourself extra time, and spots in the class fill up fast so make sure to book ahead. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a workout that's fun, unique and actually feels good for your body!

Although not open 24/7 anymore, this place has one of the highest portion sized meals at UC San Diego. Although I do not crave pizza often, whenever I do, I am sure to come here and not any other dining hall. The service, like most other areas around UCSD is pretty good. You are expected to find your own seats and you order your food either on the app or in-person. The ambiance is nice and the view can be pretty nice as well. The area is clean and there is a lot of seating both outside and inside. Compared to the other dining halls, a lot would say OVT is on the higher end.
