I believe i added 20 more Starbucks Tumblers since 5 months ago :)
Marilyn G.

There's no day that I will miss a drink from Starbucks, I will stop whenever I see one. Sometimes I get them 3 times a day or just 1 a day. But my usual stop is here at this Starbucks location 'coz it has a Drive-Thru service, so it's very convenient since it's Tough to find a parking around when there are other stores next to it and the parking is very tight here. Sometimes I sit inside, but I try to avoid this place in the early morning during School hours because this Starbucks is near a High School, within walking distance for the students. OMG, it's packed, as in packed with Students at that time. There are no tables available every time I tried to go in the morning. I love every Starbucks drink, but these are my Usual orders: *SUMMER SKIES *PEACH ICE GREEN TEA *BROWN SUGAR OATMEAL SHAKEN ESPRESSO *ESPRESSO FRAPPUCCINO *VANILLA BEAN CREME FRAPPUCCINO *TURKEY PROVOLONE & PESTO on CIABATTA *MANGO DRAGON FRUIT *HOT CARAMEL MACCHIATO This Starbucks also has a good selection of Cups and Tumblers here. Also, Starbucks has an app for Rewards points, every time you buy a drink you get points, and then with the earned points you can redeem them for a drink, bakery items, or cups. In 6 Months I always earn 8,000 points and I use them for my drinks, tumblers, or bakery items. These Starbucks Reward points have an expiration date so check them before your Points expire. The Staff here is nice and the bathroom is always clean, the service here is mostly fast and the drinks are made well. One thing I do not like is the Parking, it's too Tight so mostly I just go to their Drive Thru. And also if they can add tables and chairs outside that would be nice

Definitely the smaller size Starbucks location in a small shopping plaza as well, I would assume people stop here just to grab a to go drink, definitely not a lot of spaces to sit inside to hang out play games or even study, but I did see random people occupied 2 or more tables for themselves here. The parking spaces outside aren't any better, it's limited as it shares with other restaurants in the plaza as well, so if you decide to meet a friend here, probably not ideal. Still got a chance to try their new Summer Skies Drink with coconut milk and raspberry flavored pearls, tasted ok, refreshing maybe.

This Starbucks has a drive-thru as well as seating inside. My coffee was great and service was fast!

Food is typically what you would expect for a Starbucks. Nothing special. Service is average. Drive thru can be long in the morning; sometimes averaging about 10-15 minutes. No real seating available. More of a 'grab and go' vibe.

I used to go to this location every. Single. Day. Sometimes twice a day. That's just how often I get Starbucks. But I've been avoiding this location, and I haven't been wanting to do a review because almost every single person there is so kind to me and my kids. However after this morning it's just too much. I get the same drink every time, a pink drink with light ice and no strawberries. And the last few weeks every single time I go the drink is practically white. I want a pink drink, not a white drink. I started testing it out and every single other location I've been to makes a PINK pink drink, but this location makes a white drink with a side of pink. I feel horrible complaining about the color of my drink but it's not tasty drinking 90% coconut milk. I've started ordering my drink "a splash of coconut milk", at only this location, because again I don't have to do this at any other Starbucks. But still the drink looks the exact same way. I ordered ahead this morning, a drink for my brother and my pink drink. I get there and I have to wait another 8 minutes after my brother's latte is done for my drink to be ready. And then it's white. I asked the lady to please make it more pink because the drink was practically white and she told me that she did because she saw the "splash of coconut". With multiple young children I don't always have the time or energy to request it to be made the correct way. And I'm tired of having to ask for it be fixed every visit, and then getting the drink back looking the exact same way. I've added a picture of my drink this morning for reference, you can see how I asked for less coconut milk. And this is what it looked like AFTER sending it back and asking for even less. I know this may not seem like a big deal to many, but when I am spending HUNDREDS of dollars a month I'd like for the only drink I ever get to be made correctly. The people in the drive through have always been the kindest, and gone above and beyond for myself and my kids, same with the people at the counter.

Only opened, not a drink taken.

This Starbucks location is closest to my house so it has been my go to location since moving to this area... until now. Each time I have ordered here, there has been something not right about almost every order I have made. Their drinks never seem up to actual Starbucks standards from when you order from any other location. Now today I got a pumpkin spice latte, drove home and haven't taken one single sip. They filled this cup up half empty. I have never experienced this before, there is not even whipped cream or foam inside to excuse this. Paid full price for this drink to get a half cup.

My pup Emee the Chi and her Puppaccino!

I usually do not go to Starbucks on a regular basis, but mostly for a special occasion or day I treat myself. Of course my little pup Emee the Chi has learned that if mommy gets a treat, she gets a treat! This is the location I come to most and I have always been treated with the best customer service and kindness by the employees here, especially when Emee is with me. They're always accommodating and provide excellent service!

Today I stopped by Starbucks to grab a surprise drink for a friend. I don't really get food at Starbucks but I was starving and thought I would try something new so I got the Tomato and Mozzarella Focaccia. 3 hours later and I am in so much pain and I can not leave the bathroom. I have not had anything else to eat and my friend said she feels totally fine, so clearly it was the food. Never again I am done with Starbucks, I basically paid them to give me food poisoning...Great. When I called to let them know a food item might have gone bad the girl who worked there was very dismissive Direct quote: "And, I don't know what you want me to do about it..." By the time she realized I was just calling to let them know so they could at least check the dates on the food so others don't get sick. I was so put off by her horrible attitude I just hung up.

We stopped by at around 8:20am today and there were only a few people in line. Service was welcoming and kind! They had an assortment of baked goods + empanadas as well as a great matcha/coffee menu. There's lots of seating for anyone who wants to hangout with friends or study. So awesome to see that they serve Nami (aashleyk's matcha brand). I ordered a chicken empanada, pan de elote, & an iced matcha cloud (less sweet & oat milk). Everything was absolutely DELISH. I'm pretty picky about my matcha, especially when it's in an Einspanner form. I loved the contrast between the sweet/salty cloud and the matcha itself! This place has their ratios down perfectly. Can't wait to come back (probably tomorrow)! 11/10.

The staff were awesome and super friendly. I got the Mia-mor Latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese, and both hit the spot. One major bonus: they only charge $0.50 extra for oat milk! Most other coffee shops charge $1.00 or more now, so that was a really nice surprise. They also gave me a stamp card for future visits, which I'll definitely be using. Will absolutely be back!

You can immediately tell this is a place built by people who genuinely love what they do. Wonderful staff, incredible hospitality, and a proud culture that deserves to be shared with the world. I absolutely love the fava bean open sandwich. I almost always go for the Arab cold brew, and their Karak is fantastic as well. The Turkish coffee is completely on point. I'm a huge fan. Places like this make many of us proud of our backgrounds, and I truly hope Finjan continues to grow into every corner of San Diego -- and eventually across the country.

I was on the hunt for a good early morning matcha and remembered how much I liked Finjan Coffee at…read moretheir Mission Valley location. It was so good I've recommended it to a bunch of people, so I decided to check out the original Kearny Mesa spot out of respect. In my head, the first location should be even better since that's where it started, but that wasn't the case at all and it ended up being pretty disappointing. I ordered online and it showed a 19 minute wait for just a drink, which felt long for around 6:30 in the morning. I placed it anyway, but when I got there the plaza was basically empty. It's in a quieter area near military and recruitment offices. My drink was already sitting at the pickup counter with my name on it, so I was in and out in seconds. There is some outdoor seating with music playing, which is nice, but I didn't stay long. I ordered the same matcha I got in Mission Valley because it was that memorable. The only difference was dairy milk instead of oat milk, but that shouldn't have changed it this much. The color was the first red flag. It was super light, almost pale green, instead of that bright vibrant green you expect from good matcha. You can usually tell quality just from that. The taste didn't match either. The Mission Valley one had a strong matcha flavor with a slight sweetness from the date syrup, and the knafeh cold foam pulled everything together. This one tasted weak and kind of flat. The cold foam was still good and tasted the same, but that's only a small part of the drink and not enough to save it. Now I'm honestly confused because I've been recommending this drink to people and if they came to this location first, their experience would be completely different. It just didn't live up to what I had before. I'll probably go back to the Mission Valley spot to see if that version is actually the standard, but this one left me pretty let down.

Wait outside on the sidewalk (no exterior seating) and someone will come to take you inside. Do not ring the door bell. The theme is to take it slow. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

It's extra pretty if you add toppings like their super sweet mango. All of the scoops of ice cream were on the icier side but flavorful. Coconut was sweet and fantastically refreshing, while the taro was a bit more subtle but nutty and enjoyable. The vanilla was an old fashioned vanilla which was creamier than the other flavors but still definitely a bit icy. I would just get 3 scoops of coconut next time! The added mango on top was super sweet and soft, which contrasted drastically the meaty texture and very subdued flavor of the coconut pieces (maybe shouldn't have eaten it after that sweet mango!). They also have some unique Thai flavors of Lay's chips + special desserts (mango sticky rice, coconut pancakes, coconut pudding, etc.). I'd return for some more coconut ice cream and to try those special desserts! There are a few tables inside and more ornately decorated tables outside. No restrooms. Service was friendly. Fun little place to try new desserts, for a cute quick date, or grab and go for treats :)
