Tried the boba here because it's next to the hotel we are staying at. This place is small and had tons of decor inside. There are small tables and a seating bench. We ordered the king Kong (milk tea with coconut jelly, egg pudding and boba) and the avolanche (avocado slush with coffee jelly). Their milk tea is really good and the combination with the jelly, boba and pudding works well together. I really enjoyed it. The avolanche lacked the prominent avocado flavor (per my husband). He would've liked for it to taste more like avocado. He also didn't care for the coffee jelly that was inside. For him, it just didn't go well with those two flavors combined. The main appeal to this place is their late hours especially on weekdays. They're open from noon till midnight so if ya need that late night boba run! I recommend the Thai tea. Cute little boba shop right next to Brute Force Games which my husband and I enjoy stopping into to see what new board games they have. Luxe has a pretty extensive menu for those who love a variety of options for drinks and snacks. The interior isn't large but accommodating for a decent number of guests. The decor is very nice with a beautiful set up for those Instagram-able moments and pictures! I ordered a very standard Thai tea and my husband ordered the Fiji tea. On first impression of the Fiji tea it was very green and full of toppings, and reminded us of one of those cocktails thay usually do not blend well with the sheer number of ingredients in it. My husband wasn't exactly a fan unfortunately. The excessive toppings and mix of fruit flavors were a miss for him. Most flavors were muted or completely washed out, and the toppings were a little much. I ordered a Thai tea which was good, however it was very sweet. For the future I know to definitely cut the sweetness down by at least 50%. Would I come back? Went here after my nail appointment and it hit the spot in a major way. I ordered the Jasmine milk (minus grass jelly) add boba. Service was friendly and very fast. The boba was fresh and soft. Jasmine tea flavor was perfect. It was not too sweet but enough to be enjoyable without any bitter taste. am very upset writing this review. My daughter recently ordered a drink from LUXE Boba, and after she drank most , she discovered a bug inside her cup. She was in tears. No parent wants to see their child excited about a treat and then completely horrified moments later. This is not a small issue. Finding an insect inside a sealed drink raises serious concerns about cleanliness, food handling, and overall quality control. We have photos documenting exactly what was found. I understand that mistakes can happen in any business, but food safety is not something that can be overlooked. Customers should be able to trust that what they are purchasing is prepared in a clean and sanitary environment. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews their food safety procedures immediately, and ensures this does not happen to anyone else. Below average drinks, prices, and ambiance. The entire boba menu was filled with artficial looking colors and flavors. We got the Aloha and Golden Tiger. The Aloha was actually an okay fruit tea, but $6.50 is really steep for a regular ($8.50 for a large!?!) The Golden Tiger tasted pretty artficial and not worth $7.50 in my opinion. Lots of other boba places around that are cheaper and better quality tea. The service was fine and our drinks came out decently quick. I saw some other reviews that thought the decor was cute but it just felt really overdone and tacky to me. There are lots of Lunar New Year decorations around but the furniture and decor pieces all felt pretty cheap and didn't fit well together. Lots of parking available which is a plus. PARKING: Parking is plenty! It's in a strip mall type of location. I went later in the evening and there were lots of spaces to park. SEATING: Definitely a space to hang out for people who want to chill. There's less than 5 tables if I remember correctly. But it didn't seem like many people were staying. You could though if that's more you're vibe after ordering boba. SERVICE: Quick! The woman helping was nice and greeted me. My milk tea came out quickly as I even got the XXL size. This is a very solid boba place. Their boba drinks are on the fancy side compared to your average boba shop and the prices are a bit on the higher side. Our 4 drinks (the BTS, Honey Milk Tea, Snow Ball and Golden Tiger) were all delicious and cost about $40 all together. They have a decent size selection of food items to choose from, mostly fried. As a first time customer, their drinks are a little intimidating, as they all appear to be "specialty". I wanted to get away from the summer heat and cool down with a refreshing smoothie but had to take it to-go as it was too hot to enjoy inside. A party of 3 ordered after me and they all got their drinks before me. Mine was a blended drink so maybe it took longer than theirs, but it just seemed like a little too long, I actually started to wonder if my order was forgotten. The pricing is confusing too. There were no prices on the menu that I saw, just on the cups that are at the register for size reference. Stopped by to check this place out on a random Sunday afternoon after grabbing some stuff from the grocery store nearby. The name definitely grabbed our attention so we decided to check it out. Upon entering, you kind of just walk into this VIP club looking space with extravagant flowers and an open area with small furniture to sit on. The menus are colorful and well presented on monitors. My husband and I went for the Oh Honey drink, which is honeydew with popping boba, but we switched it out for regular boba. It was absolutely delicious. You can choose your sweetness level and the amount of ice. We picked 75 percent sweetness, and got our drink after a few mins. The restaurant was clean, fresh with AC and fans, and not too busy. I ordered through DoorDash, a drink and I added onion rings because paying $26 for just a drink is wild and it's basically the same price to add onion rings with fees and what not. I get my order and it was only onion rings. Apparently they were out of the drink I ordered so they canceled the drink causing me to pay $25 for onion rings. Knowing delivery apps come with such heavy fees you would think they'd understand no one is going to want just onion rings from a boba place. On our way out of town I wanted to grab a drink and snack. I really wanted something like Taiwanese popcorn chicken. We came across Luxe and I wanted to check it out. Located off the 15 in the Serra Mesa area off of Aero it was really easy to find. It was a weekend afternoon and not super busy. The shop is cute. The menu is a bit overwhelming with all the choices. I just wanted a plain Thai tea (no boba - not a fan!) They call their Thai tea drink Thaiger. We also ordered popcorn chicken and curly fries. The Thai tea was the largest drink I've ever had! It seemed endless! They didn't have their drink sizes listed so I figured a large was good cause me and the hubs was sharing. The large was 32oz! Geezy! We couldn't finish it and still had half the tea into the evening. It did taste good tho. The popcorn chicken was not exactly what I was wanting, but it wasn't bad. The curly fries is standard. We got two sauces, ranch and sweet chili sauce. The sweet chili sauce seemed watered down. Overall it was not bad, just more expensive than I cared for. What sucks is no pricing anywhere! (with the exception of sauces! 60 cents!) It was annoying that I had to keep asking what each item cost when I was trying to pick what I wanted. For 3 items we paid just under $30! So you're ordering blind and expect you to be ok with whatever it cost. That's not a good business practice keeping pricing hidden! read more

I used to love this place and would go very often but a few months ago I found a long black piece of hair in my boba drink which made me stay away for a few months. I decided to go back and it's been hair free for a few visits but I ordered a popcorn chicken and found a piece of black hair mixed in with the fried popcorn chicken. I really enjoyed this boba spot a few years back but it's def lost its quality and care within the last years. Please be careful when handling food and drinks. Finding hair is disgusting and I hope this doesn't make you lose business but just helps the workers be aware of their hair and making sure it doesn't get in drinks or food. Although not every time hair was found, this is two times to many and I will unfortunately take Luxe boba off of my boba list. I'm so upset right now. And I'm pregnant so my feelings are amplified a little. I ordered delivery and ordered: a large panda drink with honey boba (paid additional for large size and honey boba which the boba has no flavor like not sweetened at all). The drink itself it fine but it came spilled! (Which is not their fault so I will blame that on the driver. But they usually have it in the boba cups sealed but this for some reason is in a normal cup with the popped on lid that that tapes and put in a bag and all the liquid thankfully leaked into the bag. However, I set it on the counter and it leaked from the bag making a mess for me to clean up. And on top of it no straw was received so how am I supposed to drink it with the boba-I guess use a spoon? Meanwhile, there's barely any ice in it so it's room temp. Some of the boba has a weird consistency too. Some are fine and some are like a thick gelatinous texture. My tofu came soft which is understandable from delivery with the heat in the box so whatever. But literally it's the smallest portion and literally soo bland. One piece taste like there was salt on it and others just bland. I asked for medium spice and they just sprinkled some red chili flakes on it. (I was comparing this to tapex which is seasoned sooo well, this is just inedible to me). And the fried Oreos. This was the best item of all but even then I don't like it. First off, there's literally no powdered sugar on it. Other pictures on Yelp show it dusted with it. It had a thick batter that was not evenly coated and also bland! One side would be the Oreo and the other end just bland batter. The Oreo portion was the only good part. The powdered sugar would have helped. I've always enjoyed fried Oreos but not from here. Unfortunately I'm very upset with how much I spent and not even one part of the meal was up to par. I guess just the drink but here I am gulping it and using a spoon to get the boba. I've been here a few times in the past just for drinks. This is the first time I've ordered some food items.
