This place was just ok! We visited on a Saturday afternoon for a quick snack. Parking is really really tough, I parked on the street a block away. Clean shop and not busy at all! I ordered their basil chicken with ranch. The chicken took a while to come out and they forgot the ranch. It was fresh though! Good portions, but I've had better basil chicken. Very ok experience!
Since the hotdog place closed down inside H-Mart I've been coming here! They're just as good but don't have as many toppings as the other place. I used their ordering kiosk for a faster check out. They have plenty of seating for people to sit and work. They are connected to labora which is cool!
Great drinks and soft & warm boba! Can't go wrong with either a fruit or milk tea. I saw a few students staring intensely at their laptops so I believe it makes a decent study spot as well. They share a bathroom/hallway with the spot next door. There was free parking in the plaza when I went on a Monday evening.
Parking is very difficult here especially with the popularity of Labora next door. Street parking is also difficult and the side streets have homeless encampments so be careful when parking. Seating inside is difficult. LOTS of people on laptops and those from Labora side. No outside seating. Order at kiosk only. They have a surcharge for credit cards (no sign stating this anywhere) but no ability to pay in cash. If you don't like your drink staff will remake but the wait will take awhile. Saw someone try to get more sweetener and staff made them wait for quite awhile. Staff not friendly. Been here a few times. Most recent visit I ordered: Basil popcorn chicken $13 - got mild but it was still kind of spicy, even the ones that didn't have red seasoning on them. Good overall flavor, nicely crunchy, some pieces over. Very fatty thigh meat. You get a decent portion but it still seems fairly expensive.
There is no me without boba. I'm on a hunt to find the best boba in San Diego, so I searched boba on Yelp and Urban Bubble popped up. I was even more interested when I saw they serve snacks too. Parking at 9pm wasn't too bad since most businesses nearby were closed, except the 24 hour Mexican spot across from them. I can see it being tougher during peak hours though. When we walked in, it was packed with students. Almost every seat was taken. I liked that they had two kiosks to browse and order. It keeps the line moving and lets the employees focus on making drinks. The menu is your classic boba lineup with milk teas, fruit teas, matcha, and slush style drinks. I went with the Taro Brown Sugar with boba at half sweet. My partner got the Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Boba. We also shared a Hot Cheetos Mozz and Sausage with cheese on the side. Our drinks came out quickly. The food followed about five minutes later, which makes sense since it's cooked to order. I also liked how sturdy their cups are. They feel durable and good quality, not flimsy. Taro Brown Sugar Boba (Half Sweet) Think taro milk tea with brown sugar boba. Nothing crazy, just exactly what you expect. It was still on the sweeter side even at half sweet, but it satisfied the craving. Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Boba When I think crème brûlée, I think creamy custard and torched sugar. This leaned more like a classic brown sugar milk drink. Still good, but I wish there was something that really highlighted that crème brûlée flavor. Also, 50% sweetness was still very sweet. Hot Cheetos Mozz & Sausage I really wanted to love this. It looked like a corn dog lightly dusted in red powder. After biting into it, I couldn't really taste the Hot Cheetos flavor. I did like that they alternated pieces of mozzarella and sausage instead of doing a straight half and half. The cheese on the side added a nice salty touch. Some parts of the dough were uneven and a bit too thick, but overall it reminded me of a Chinese donut. I enjoyed it, just not for the Hot Cheetos factor. I'm definitely curious to come back and try their popcorn chicken since it looked good and I love when spots still add basil. I can see myself coming here earlier in the day to study. Just maybe skipping the corn dog next time since the dough was a little too dense for me.
My favorite place for easy grab and go snacks! My favorite has to be the tteokbokki with the sausage. It is crispy on the outside and so chewy on the inside. The chicken is flavorful and crispy...first time trying the chicken, I would defnitely get again. The place is clean and modern with many seating areas. The workers are nice.
Easy ordering via a kiosk. Love their high quality cups, which somehow makes it feel like a more luxurious drink and experience. Sweetness was on point for what we selected (options to lower). Pricing is good for how much you get. This shop is connected to Ssong's hot dogs so you can also get food at the same time. Smaller shop with small tables all around. Wasn't busy when we went though so it was easy to snag a table.
I came here with a couple girlfriends to catch up & enjoy some good drinks. The inside is clean & bright. They have the self checkout kiosk which were easy to use. The price is okay, not too expensive which is good. Wait time was about 20 mins since they were a bit busy. They have indoor seating though not much. My friends & I had to pull up a couple stools from another table to fit us 5 together.
First timer here! Great overall selection of bubble teas! I love that they have a *sago* as an option. Not many places (so far) in San Diego has this (except for this other well known place in Del Mar) I've been to. They also have food options here such as a basil chicken sandwhich, basil popcorn chicken with different spice level options, waffle fries, crispy fried gyozas, crispy calamari (will try this here next time), mac n cheese bits, rice cake sausage skewers as well as egg rolls. They also have sauce options such as spicy mayo, ketchup, mustard, ranch and sweet Thai Chilli. Also - if you're interested in caffeine-free options, they do have it as well! The person who helped me with my order was very knowledgeable with the menu! They also have a kiosk option if you want to order that way. The tea shop itself has a great location right off Clairemont Mesa Blvd. The natural light inside the store is ample - so great for photos, or people who like study inside shops or work from home. My mom and I ordered the basil popcorn chicken (medium spicy + no spice) with sweet Thai chili! 10/10! OH & rest assured, YES they have free wi-fi! Our entire experience was great and we'll definitely be definitely be back! The ONLY CON was PARKING. If you didn't think it could get any worse in this Clairemont area, the parking lot is insanely tinier than most. But I'm not surprised - most of the area is like this. But it is what it is folks! Walk. :)
We ordered boba on DoorDash and initially chose it because of the cat design The Creme Brûlée Brown Sugar Boba was decadent and Urban Milk was quite delightful! The drinks came in individual plastic holders, which is a special touch! The flavors are quality and hits the spot if you are looking for a dessert option. Definitely getting boba from here again :D
I wanted Boba and we're eating across the street so I decided to try this place out because I was really craving a light sheet green tea drink. They had it on the menu so I decided to go in. You have to order on the machines. Which was pretty easy. I ordered 50% sugar and less ice. The drink was still very sweet and especially compared to the other Boba places I've been to where I've ordered the same thing. overall my drink was good and the sweetness level wasn't my main concern. What my biggest concern was that my friend ordered Boba in her lychee drink and said she only wanted Boba and no like lychee. When she asked if it was possible to change your order, he looked extremely annoyed, grabbed her cup, and tossed it out in the garbage behind him. He didn't say anything, but he did remake her drink. I'm giving this review only three stars because the customer service was not great. However, I will say the inside is nicely decorated, and all the tables were cleaned. They also had a nice bathroom and very up-to-date and modern. I personally wouldn't come back here for the Boba and I think there's a lot of other places nearby that would also suffice. Especially considering the price of the drink it was not worth the money.
I love love love Urban Bubble and they'll always be my go-to boba place! They're the only spot that gets their honeydew smoothies perfectly smooth, not powdery or icy. Service is usually pretty quick even when they get busy, which makes sense since there's a lot of seating and good wifi for studying or hanging out. The vibe is colorful, fun, and a little loud since there's always music playing. They recently switched to shorter, wider cups for the 24oz drinks, but as long as it's still the same amount, I'm fine with it. Drinks are usually around $6-$9, which feels fair for the quality. My only small worry is that the girls working there always have their hair down, but as long as I never find a hair in my drink, we're chillin Overall, Urban Bubble is consistent, delicious, and such a fun place to grab boba.

Came late night with some friends to get some boba. There's lots of seating inside the store and it was decorated nicely! There was no line so we were able to order right away. The cashier was very helpful when we had some questions about the drinks. We got the thai bubble, wintermelon milk tea, and toasty tea. All the drinks were yummy! read more

I ordered the Mango Sago at 50% sweetness, but there was no mango in the drink at all. Not a few pieces--none. The cup was basically just a coconut/milk base with sago. It's hard to call this a Mango Sago when the main ingredient is completely missing. The flavor was bland because there was no mango to give it the fresh, fruity taste the drink is supposed to have. I'm hoping this was just a mistake, but based on what I was served, this was very disappointing. If you're ordering a Mango Sago, you should expect to actually get mango. Unfortunately, I didn't. 1/5 stars. read more

Came here for the first time and really like the atmosphere. Lots of places to study if you need to. Got the Strawberry Matcha Latte with Boba. The flavor was good, not too sweet and not bitter. Got it 50% Sweet and 50% ice. I also ordered the Basil Popcorn chicken and Urban Fries with parmasean. The basil popcorn chicken was made to perfection. Perfect crispness and moist chicken on the inside. The fries were nice and crispy my son said " better than Boba Time" which is saying a lot for him. Defintly will come back. Parking at night is tricky but seeing the day it is decent. read more
One of the best things about boba is the customization: you can adjust sweetness, ice, tea strength, and topping quantity. This place has variety drinks selections and so many snacks to choose from. My son loved their non-spicy popcorn chicken and corndog. Omg, the mild was so spicy that not even the adults could handle that heat. Kids mouth was son fire. The popcorn chicken was juicy, flavorful and delicious without their dry seasoning. Service was amazing. They interacted with the kiddos and change our order without hesitation. read more
This is one of only places that I am able to find a delicious mango sago. My husband and I will usually get the mango sago and the taro sago. The store is bright, clean and opened late (midnight on Saturday). We order from a kiosk so there isn't a ton of interaction with the staff but times where I have interacted with them, they have been friendly. This is one of my go-to places for sago. read more
Got the Taro bubble w crystal boba, a blended taro drink w cheese cream. Decreased the sugar to 75% and it was perfect! I've never had crystal boba before, and it was delicious, smaller than the tapioca pearls and more chewy. The ambiance inside was quiet when i went, a lot of people just working or catching up. Service was fast & friendly. Besides the drink itself, I loved the cup! such a pretty design. Only downfall is its parking lot! very crammed and small. read more

Taking a star off because it took probably 30 min and there weren't really any customers. Otherwise, good sandwich and lots of seating. Their boba looked good too but we were too full! read more
Unfortunately, this wasn't it. This place hasn't been around much so they've been having a lot of promotion. If you leave a review, you get $5 gift card. Which I'm sure I'm not getting lol The parking was ok. Very tight, not that many spots. Also it lacked street parking around here due to the new bike lanes. This place also sells food, like chicken sandwiches, rice bowls, fries. So it's a good place to hang out with friends, meet for quick bites. I'm here for boba and they were straight up sugar. I've asked for 50% sugar, and I couldn't even finish this drink because it was giving me so much headache. Boba is pre made, which is fine, but it just looked like it's been sitting in the boba bucket for a while... and the station where they were making the boba looked real messy. I think it's a cool place to hang, but not for boba. read more
Clean feeling well lit boba shop. The music was good and got me in the mood for boba. We ordered on the tablets and drinks came out quickly. We got a strawberry love and a strawberry yakult. Both were excellent. Good ratio of boba to drink. read more
My friends & I came here and ordered through the kiosk. -lychee tea with jelly & boba (0 sweetness) -strawberry matcha latte -taro sago The drinks came out within less than 5 minutes. We each enjoyed our drink. The inside was clean and aesthetically pleasing. There is a small parking lot outside connected with other restaurants/shops nearby. read more
I ordered the crème brûlée brown sugar boba on DoorDash for pickup. When I arrived after the estimated pick up time, it was still not ready. I waited about 5-10 minutes until it was since the shop looked busy. The parking lot is really small and tight. I was surprised to see how many people were hanging out in the shop but they do have many tables, nooks, seating with WiFi. The workers were friendly and apologized for the wait. I was late for an appointment so had to take the drink to go. Crème brûlée brown sugar boba - delicious flavor and the *cooked* bobas were good, but sadly about 1/4 of the boba were crunchy then I realized they were raw! This is the first time I have ever been served raw boba. :( I'm sure they would've fixed the boba if I was still in shop but I didn't have time to go back. My husband's drink had raw boba too. read more
Good drinks good snacks. Ordering is easy as it's self service touch screen. Limited seating inside as it's a popular studying spot. Inside is nice and clean they have a restroom as well. Parking is also limited as it's in a tiny strip mall. read more

Ordered on a kiosk on a busy Friday night. Waited no longer than 10 mins for my drink. They have cute heart jelly and as always, the drink was refreshing. Definitely a nicely lit place to enjoy company and a good boba drink! read more

I ordered a strawberry yogurt with boba. Very filling, exactly what I ordered. Personally I wish they had more specialty drinks to choose from. The prices were average for boba in San Diego. Nothing incredibly stand out, but seating area was nice and spacious, good for meeting up with friends. Service at the counter was friendly. read more
Our first time to try their Boba drinks- and they were delicious! We ordered Mango Sago, Aloha Mango, and Lychee Tea. The Boba was chewy and sweet. The Aloha Mango has the right amount of mango flavor and tea. The place was decorated with beautiful and bright holiday lights - very instagrammable! Service was amazing! Ok first off parking can be tricky not a lot of spaces. However totally worth it. There are 2 computer order stations where you put in and pay. Very easy to do lots of drinks and great food items. Overall the establishment is super cute all decorated for Christmas. Lots of seating , WiFi free. Customer service was awesome super friendly. Music was great. If I can do more than 5 stars I would. The drinks were awesome and boba is soft and perfect. We got waffle and regular fries a must try. We will be back. BOBA places take a look at this spot it's PERFeCT!!!!!! read more
URBAN BUBBLE! This boba place was pretty delicious when I passed by! Opened late, good pricing, and good atmosphere! The service was a bit slow however, they were super nice taking my order. I decided to get the Urban Milk Tea with boba (Check-In for a free topping)!! It was actually super good, i really liked the flavor and the total was about $7. This is also a place that lots of people bring their laptops and do work! Parking is a massacre, can be difficult however i'd recommend parking around the area and grabbing food before coming! read more
Urban Bubble is such a yummy bubble shop serving delicious milk tea, fruit teas, sparkling teas, slushies, yogurt smoothies, and Korean style corn dogs and snacks. I went on a Sunday after a full day of studying and my brain wanted a mango smoothie. There were several pop-up vendors inside selling pastries, magnets, stickers, and keychains which left no room to relax and hang out. I ordered the mango yakult half sweet, which was so delicious. It was tangy from the yogurt but sweet from the mango which helped balance out the drink. I'll definitely try this place again when it's less busy. read more
Urban bubble is a very clean and hip boba shop near the convoy area. Their prices are pretty standard, around $6+ per drink. Their service is very nice if you want to order in person. They also have kiosks to order your drinks. I ordered the sunset blvd drink from their top 6 menu with strawberry heart jelly as the topping. It has a hard time going through the straw. They have accessible bathrooms inside and parking is available outside the store. The parking lot has seen some better days, with a few potholes but nothing major. I'd recommend coming here for a drink to go or to stay and enjoy the music and nice vibes! read more

Amazing menu items!! I'm addicted to the rice and sausage Tteok-bokki. The Taro bubble is also yummy. The crispy chicken is good and they have milo bubble. Ther service is fast and awesome!! They work really hard and quickly. Great team work!! The place is chill. I came with my daughter and we enjoyed the food and drinks. The place is quiet so it's nice to study and get your grub on. read more
When I'm in this area I usually go to the boba tea spot in the next complex over but I was looking for something different. Found this spot and decided to give it a try. They have lots of refreshing and light flavors. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte. 50% sugar. Add regular boba. Not a single bad decision was made!! The boba is the perfect texture and sweetness. The place has a nice open layout with plenty of spots for seating. They have wifi so you can come and do your school work if you're looking for more of a cafe vibe. They don't really have coffee flavors which is my go to but I just won't come here for that. That would be my only suggestion! All in all the place is cute. Has good tasting and quality drinks. A decent snack/food menu as well. Friendly customer service. Seems like a one stop shop. I'll be back! read more
