Modern septic and Pedro were terrific! Highly recommend them. Everything was a breeze.

I recently used this septic service and couldn't be happier. Scheduling was a breeze, the staff was highly professional, and Dale, the service tech, was quick, efficient, and provided outstanding recommendations tailored to my home's needs. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent response time and excellent professional service we received from Dale. Will definitely use Modern Septic in the future.

I want to give a quick thanks to Dale and Modern septic. We had to have or septic cleaned and they were quick, on time, and efficient. Dale pre- called 30 minutes ahead of arrival and made sure to follow up with us at the end of the Job to go over recommendations, answer questions, and let us know the health of out tank. read more

Fast and professional service. We highly recommend them for their prompt response and value.

Jeremy just got done pumping our septic tank. I can't say enough good things about him. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He took care to clean up and leave our yard the way he found it. He made suggestions to make it easier for us to prepare for the next time his services are needed. read more

I contacted Modern Septic Service over a weekend and left message with their answering service. I wanted to schedule a non-emergency "pump out" for our two septic tanks. Kathy contacted me on Monday and I was able to set up appt. for a Thursday. (They could have come sooner, but that day worked best for me). Kathy was very personable and efficient. Our technician was Jeremy and he was prompt, knowledgable and very friendly. After service, I contacted Kathy to pay over phone and again I received the same great customer service. This was the first time I used Modern Septic Service, but they'll definitely be our go to septic company from now on. The price was very competitive and they even gave us a $50 discount for each tank, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend their service! read more

Modern Septic is a top notch organization. From my experience, you won't regret using them. I called on a Tuesday and they were able to schedule me an appointment for two days later, Thursday morning. The men who arrived to clean out the tank were on time, professional, and very easy to talk to. They had a great grasp of their craft. I appreciated that they were helpful in answering my questions. The tank was clean fairly quickly. I'm making this review a few months after the work, so I can't remember if it was 30 minutes or an hour. However, it was fast. Pro Tip: make sure you have every window and door of your house closed. I missed one window and the house smelled awful for hours. Certainly not their fault, it's mine. Lol! Just wanting to prevent it happening to you. If you need any help with your septic, you gotta call Modern. I know I will! read more

Not something we need to do often but Diamond was great. Guillermo was on time, and gave good information about some future work that will be required if we sell the house. He did not try to pressure me to have the work done now. Apparently the distance from truck to tank was under 100 feet so there was no extra charge. They even put the dirt back over the septic openings and are markers so we can find them again. Only down side was some grease or dirt on the driveway but we are working on getting that out. . Just a good experience overall. read more

I'm highly recommending Modern Septic Service! Kathi picked up the phone after two rings and scheduled me for the next day. She asked me all the questions beforehand, so when the driver showed up he exactly knew what needed to be done. It was so efficient becuse one guy arrived a bit early and dug out both covers. Then the driver pumped my tank, moved back the dirt, and left the erase clean and neat. WOW! read more

Made a call and got an appointment within a couple of days. Thank you for taking care of pumping that mess outta there!

I have used this and various other companies over the years for my septic needs. Modern have always beat the competition in my needs. Time, helpfulness, and quality. Back again to pump out our septic tank Eric was on time in fact early Very professional asked question about our septic tank and had we had any problems. Checked our tank everything was okay He was working in the hot sun "105 today" Eric could work and talk at the same time Sounds funny some folks can't do that. I think this is the fifth or sixth time in the past 25 years we have had Modern Septic here to pump and clean out septic tank. Always doing a good job of cleaning and checking our tank. We never call or shop others Again Thank You read more

Called last week to schedule an apt to expose and empty our septic tank. I was told that they had an apt Tuesday, June 30 between 12-4. I accepted that apt and received a call today from tech Eric at 10:19 am asking if he could come early. I returned his phone call and told him I could have someone meet him there at 11:00 am. He arrived at 11:35 am and from the start was annoyed that he had to expose the septic tank. He explained that it was a higher cost to for him to dig in order to expose the tanks. Due to a physical disability we were not able to dig the area to expose the dirt ourself at this time and told him so. It was very clear that he was not happy that he had to dig alone in order to expose the tank. Once the tank was emptied and he began to backfill the dirt the lid for the tank broke. It was 2:40 pm. I as the homeowner offered to go to his shop to get it because he was going to leave it open until "someone else from his company was in the area again". I told him this wasn't an option since we have dogs and the whole is approx' 3' deep and the dirt is on my grass. He then called his office and they said they would bring one to him. He stood aside and waited for approx. 30 minutes before a second person arrived with the lid and then it was placed on the tank and the back fill was then completed. I was charged for the lid (that is fine) and his time to stand by and do nothing (this is not okay). Then they completed the paperwork and left the job. Didn't clean up the area and left my yard and driveway looking like this. Also not okay. Can't say I would recommend or call back. read more

We've used messenger in the past and usually have good service. Had our tank pumped a few months back and the guy who came out seemed annoyed with us. We have some issues with ground water and leach fields when it rains hard and he seemed as though he didn't want to be there and was very short. He opened up towards the end but was uncomfortable at the beginning. Never had issues in the past so maybe it was just a bad day.?? read more

We bought a house three months ago and had no clue the property was not on city sewer. Once discovering this and having no clue how a septic system worked, I reached out to Modern Septic Service. It just so happens this company was he last to service our system back in 2012 and was able to give us some records of the previous work done at this property. All I can say is Don really went above and beyond to help us figure out and understand what we needed to do. From the first time I talked to him on the phone, right up to the day of the pump, he was there. The serviceman Brad, was courteous, polite and on time. If you have to be on septic, you might as well have it maintained by the most knowledgeable people in the business. I would highly recommend Modern Septic Service. read more

Decided to try a new septic service this time, no reason just for variety. I was impressed with the professionalism of the front office Cathy, and the professional service that Brad (the pumper) offered. I would say I could take off maybe half a star because they did show up approximately an hour before they said they would but hey I'm not going to take off a whole star for that. Brad contacted me told me he was coming, I wasn't able to make it to the property, but explained to him what I wanted and the condition of the septic tank. I trusted that Brad could handle the job without me there. After the service he called me and told me everything was OK, and that perhaps I could increase my pumping frequency slightly. He also told me there were a bunch of wet wipes in the septic tank, so I can talk to the tenants about it. No wet wipes please and don't poor grease down the drain. I would definately use them again can't go wrong, their price was competitive. read more

Stellar service from Robert. Really above and beyond. That's right. Robert takes septic pumping to a whole other level of excellence. After pumping, he fished out a bunch of clay pipe debris left in there from a previous repair of the inlet and outlet pipes. read more

I was referred to Modern Septic after the company I had selected to pump my septic tank had a truck breakdown. Fortunately, Modern Septic was able to get out to my place within a day after I called. The tech -- Chuck -- arrived right on time, and he did an awesome job. This is the first time I've owned a house with a septic tank, and it's all been quite an education. I watched Chuck as he worked on the tank, and he explained how everything worked. I was kind of scared because, when we bought the house a couple of months ago, we learned that the previous owner hadn't had the tank pumped in 12 years. The good news is that the tank was in good shape and functioning as it should. When Chuck was done, everything was spic and span, and our tank was ready to go for another 4 years. I'm a very happy customer, and I highly recommend Modern Septic. read more

The best septic service you could ask for and Jon and don are great guys the owners. They are always fair and will do the right thing

I called for information on an extremely old septic tank that no longer manufactures parts(lids)for. Both the office manager and the service tech that came out went above and beyond to find me options. As well as making their appointment window. The service technician was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about his work. It's a $&@:;y job but they all do it with a great attitude and I appreciate their service. read more

We bought a home last month with septic. These guys have been servicing this system for 30 years. They gave us a great inspection, photos of past work, they kept records to make it easier to get the permits for our new room addition. They shared everything they had and followed up after every phone call I made to them. They also referred us to a local expert who drew our new system for submission to the county. They have maintained this system for 30 years so far. We plan to use them for the next 30 years. They were extremely busy when I called but they were honest and realistic about their timelines for returning answers and photos of their work history. My inlaws have used them for 30 years as well. Nothing but good to say about them. Modern Septic is run by real people that care. That is hard to find. Thx, John read more

The people at Modern Septic Service were a pleasure to work with. They were able to complete an inspection on a day's notice, were friendly and professional during the inspection, and went out of their way to explain to us how a septic system works, how to maintain it, and what they look for in an inspection. I have used Modern Septic since I moved into my house in 1993. Every three or four years they come out and pump my tank, and have never had any problems. The last time the came they told me my tank was corroding and needed to be fixed, so last week I had them come out and do the work on it after they pumped it. They had estimated it would take 5 or 6 hours and gave me a quote based on that estimate. In reality, the tank was corroded more than they thought and it took at least 10 man-hours to fix it right. They called me today and told me they were only going to charge me based on the original estimate since neither they nor I knew how bad my tank was. I was prepared to pay for the 10-hours; I saw what the guys had to go through to fix it. I didn't ask them to discount the hours, they just did the right thing and charged based on the original estimate. Not many companies give that kind of service these days. I don't Yelp often, but Modern Septic deserves 10 stars in my book. read more

I've been using multiple tank pumping companies for my two properties since 1999 and this company is by far the best.
