I contacted Modern Septic Service over a weekend and left message with their answering service. I wanted to schedule a non-emergency "pump out" for our two septic tanks. Kathy contacted me on Monday and I was able to set up appt. for a Thursday. (They could have come sooner, but that day worked best for me). Kathy was very personable and efficient. Modern Septic is a top notch organization. From my experience, you won't regret using them. I called on a Tuesday and they were able to schedule me an appointment for two days later, Thursday morning. The men who arrived to clean out the tank were on time, professional, and very easy to talk to. They had a great grasp of their craft. I appreciated that they were helpful in answering my questions. The tank was clean fairly quickly. I'm making this review a few months after the work, so I can't remember if it was 30 minutes or an hour. However, it was fast. Pro Tip: make sure you have every window and door of your house closed. I missed one window and the house smelled awful for hours. Certainly not their fault, it's mine. Lol! Not something we need to do often but Diamond was great. Guillermo was on time, and gave good information about some future work that will be required if we sell the house. He did not try to pressure me to have the work done now. Apparently the distance from truck to tank was under 100 feet so there was no extra charge.They even put the dirt back over the septic openings and are markers so we can find them again. Only down side was some grease or dirt on the driveway but we are working on getting that out. . Just a good experience overall. read more
