Ernie is great! He was very prompt with answering my calls and communicating with my handyman. I am a property manager and will continue to use him for all of our properties. read more

I was referred to Ernie by the former property owner. I called Ernie regarding a septic issue and he promised to come and do a site visit...never came. I called him several times and kept on promising to show up. He never did. If you can't keep your word then don't promise to show up. It's just a waste of time waiting for nothing. I have never dealt with with such a flake before and hope I never will again. read more

Called More than 5 times for a quote. Ernie said he would come by to look at our situation. He never followed through. Don't waste your time. Call BNB septic who is responsive and did a great job. read more

The best there is. We called another who company wanted to replace the tanks and leech lines for about $5000.00 to $7500.00 and wait 2 weeks. We decided to call this company. Two young men from San Diego Sewer were here in 20 minutes and fixed a broken pipe and flushed the lines. Very polite and professional . Very affordable. Not strict on collecting payment at the door. I will always recommend. read more

Outstanding and quick service! You will 1st be helped by the owner, Ernie, who is very professional and friendly. He will answer all your questions and ensures you have an estimate of work to be performed before they start anyy work. Their pricing is very competitive and fair. My clients needed a new valve installed and 2 risers and it cost less than a competitor's quote. In fact the other company could not help us for 4 weeks and Ernie was able to complete all within a couple days of initial call. Give San Diego Septic a call you will be happy you did. Oh, did I mention they service ALL of San Diego County? read more

12/21/2013 We had what appeared to be gophers destroying one end of our leach lines causing effluent to go through the gopher holes and onto the surface of the ground - not the optimum set of circumstances. Two well known and qualified septic services came out and both proposed a full rip and replace of all the leach lines. This would entail tractors coming into a relatively small space with difficult accessibility to the backyard. The potential for damaging fruit trees and removing a block wall were also challenges. Both companies quoted a little over $7,000. Ernie, from San Diego Septic, came over and observed that there should be some other leach lines that had probably not been breached and he brought out a probe to find them. He found lines intact that could be tapped into and which, for whatever reason, weren't getting the flow that they should. Rather than a huge dug up back yard, get a permit ($395) and a $7,000+ outlay, we were able to do a very simple repair which was completed to my complete satisfaction in about 2.5 hours. The work was dug by hand, new pipe laid, a cleanout riser installed and the cost was $1,200. I will never use any other septic service other than Ernie at Septic Services. He is also BBB rates and on Angie's list. read more

Ernie and his team have done work for us a couple of times. Once was adding an RV dump and once was a repair that needed to be done to close escrow. Ernie is very reachable, and he is a real stand-up guy. His work is good and fast. He is not afraid to recommend someone if he is not the right guy for the job. And if he recommends someone, they will do right by you too. Highly recommend. read more

Helped us out in a pinch, and works well with San Diego County's staff.

Ernie is one of the few truly honest and competent people in his field. (leach field?) Anyway, having someone that works to solve the problem honestly, at the lowest cost, and with the best results is truly a blessing. I would recommend him without reservation. Many thanks! read more

Ernie is over the top awesome!!! I had a crooked company try to convince me I needed a whole new septic system that would have cost me 10's of thousands of dollars because of its location. Earnie came out the next day and took the time to show me my tank. He showed me how well it was built and the MINOR repairs that were needed to fix it. It was done the next day and for only $800. He is a local guy (grew up in East County), very honest, very respectful, very knowledgable, very professional and fast. He became my instant hero. read more

I was in escrow and my septic didn't pass inspection. Ernie, the owner, came out quickly, did trouble shooting and made the repairs in a short amount of time and closing of escrow wasn't delayed. His prices were very reasonable. I recommend SD Septic to anyone. Thank you, Ernie! read more

After a horrible experience with a plumber who scammed us wecalled San Diego Septic out to take a look. Ernie the owner came over and spentabout 30 minutes doing a full walk through of our yard and entire septic system. He showed us what we needed to do and even madea follow up visit the next week to check up. The problem he found ended up being a plumingproblem in the house and with the septic like we thought so we did not need him this timebut what a great company! He came out to assess our situation more than once and since he only offered advise didn't charge us a single cent, unlike the last company we worked with who came out once, did nothing and charged my elderly grandmother $2,000 to basically bury things we had laying around in the backyard... These guys are by far our first choice for septic and if there is any issue at all they will certainly be my first call. Thank you San Diego Septic for being honestand trustworthy with our little issue! read more

Ernie was very accommodating and great to work with. He traveled a long way to take care of our job.

This company is fantastic! Professional service, prompt and Ernie provided education regarding our individual need. This Realtor will refer to clients, friends and family for their professional septic services. Thanks Ernie, John and I appreciate it. read more

Ernie and his crew are great!!!! They were a referral from a friend of mine. She raved about them. When I called, I expected the worst; but they came out assessed the problem for free and then gave me a quote. I didn't even get a second opinion. Just got a positive vibe from the guy doing the inspection. They stayed that day and completed the job. Didn't try to oversell me etc. if anyone had septic or leach line issues....the only call you need to make is to these guys. read more

I purchased a new home and Ernie met me at the house on short notice and educated me on septic for about an hour. I had never owned a house with Septic and had lots of questions and concerns. He answered all of them. I was referred to him by another septic company, so it is good to know that he is respected in the industry. I would highly recommend his service and expertise. read more

I had been given their number by a septic pumper due to an issue I had with my tank and leach lines. I called Ernie and got him on the phone immediately. I told him I wanted him to come and look at my situation immediately. He told me his schedule and we coordinated a time for that day. We met, as scheduled, and I told him about my immediate timeline. He got on the phone with his guys and scheduled me for two days later, which was perfect for me due to the situation. We worked out the financial details and he was extremely fair and accommodating. He was easy to work with and when the day of the repair arrived his guy was on time and ready to work. The situation was resolved in a professional and efficient manner, and I am extremely glad I used them for the repair. His employee James took care of the problem and went above and beyond to make sure that when he left everything was good. He did more than he was expected to. I would recommend these guys any day. read more
