Our most recent transaction we had our tank pumped but the lids were fused on and the tech couldn't take them off. After an hour or more of trying everything, the owner came out to help. We gave them permission to do whatever it took, even if it meant the lids would break. One lid did break, but the owner did tell us of a good place to go to get good lids at a reasonable rate. I've had a great experience with two of A1 Septic Services technicians. Both Jayden and Blake were punctual, looked professional, their service trucks were clean, they explained everything that was going to happen in detail and most of all, did a thorough, clean pumping on my septic tanks. The baffle wall in my tank at the top had some corrosion. The repair process was explained and done. We also added two risers for easier access for the next tank maintenance. Wow Aaron and Kyle were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this company! I had an old septic tank and my toilets were backing up. I called and they got me in the next morning, they took a look and told me my septic was fine but I really had a clogged main line. They helped me get it unclogged (even though this wasn't their job this was more of a plumbing situation). They did everything they could to investigate and fix the problem. I am so impressed, they could have just told me I needed it pumped and charged me, I wouldn't have known anything different but they didn't! The owner monitors his yelp account personally and was able to give our military family a discount for septic cleaning and pumping. We have easy access to our lids so they do not have to look for buried lids in dirt or under a concrete top. Our goal as a military family is fast and efficient for them to get the job done easy. If you want workmanship that matches the contents of your tank this is the place. Bought a home and septic failed inspection so the seller hired these clowns to replace the tank. While I completely understand and expect that replacing a septic tank will require digging up the yard, what I did not expect was the absolute disrespectful and snide comments made towards myself from the crew because i was at the house doing other work while they were there the first day. I also did not eclxpect the absolute destruction of my yard, my patio slab and my walk ways. They also tracked piles of mud through the house. ( photos included) when I called them asking them why they didnt even attempt to even try and level the dirt, why they tracked mud throughout the inside of the house, and what they intended to do about the patio slab they broke, and when they would be returning to remove the rest of the debris from the old tank I was told that they would return the following Saturday to remove the debris. That was a month ago and they still never returned to remove the debris from the old tank. They also told me that the damage to the concrete slab and walk ways were " collateral damage " and that I was not the one that hired them so it was not my place to question them. The saddest part of this entire situation is the fact that the seller of the home was an 80+ year old disabled woman who would have not been able to clean up the mess left by these guys, and she would have been absolutely unable to safely walk out the back door into the yard due to the destruction of the walkways making it unsafe for her to navigate through the yard. In my 40+ years in construction this is by far the most disrespectful and unprofessional work I've ever seen. My neighbor had his tank pumped just after this whole situation happened and the septic company they used agreed to take a look at the way this job was left and assured me this is not "industry standard " and that if one of theirncrews left someone's yard and house in this condition they would have been fired on the spot. As for the age old question of weather i would recommend this company, the answer is absolutely not. What I thought was going to be a nightmare with the county, was pretty much resolved and handled within 1-2 weeks. They made custom lids for me, added dirt to leech pit, and helped research the line. They just knew what to do and handled immediately. Very responsive to emails and got me the reports the county wanted. There's not too many things worse than toilets not flushing and waste water coming up through your bathtubs and showers. HELLLLLPPP!!!! I called A1 Septic Services late in the day and they were able to come early the next day. They kept me informed as to when they would arrive. They were punctual. Blake was very personable and told me he would have to pump out the septic tank. He kept me informed every step of the way. He was incredibly neat in digging up my landscaping to find the lid of the tank and equally neat in putting things back. My tank is an older fiberglass one and had developed a crack. Blake said it could be repaired, saving me the cost of a new tank, which could run over $25,000.00. Two or three days later Aaron arrived to do the repair. He too kept me informed as to when he would arrive. He had to disturb the landscaping once again and was every bit as neat in digging it up and putting it back.
