In the end, they squeezed me in around 10am, which was perfect! The crew showed up right on time, were professional, friendly, and got the job done efficiently and cleanly. No mess, quick pump and inspection, and they left everything spotless in my backyard (even with all the plants and stuff around the access point). Communication was top-notch from start to finish--morning check-in texts, heads-up when they were en route, and a call number if needed. I've dealt with septic services before, but this was one of the best experiences. Honest, reliable, and they really go the extra mile to make it work for the customer. We live in Alpine, CA near San Diego…read more We used this place a few years ago and were pleased. I called them on a Wednesday and found that Atlas had been bought out by a company in Texas (Liquid Enviro). I then asked the prices and informed them that they will need to dig before they pump. He gave me prices, $525 plus $100per hour to dig. I said OK, then asked when they could do it. He said he wasn't sure but they would call me. I asked of there was a local number I could call and he said "No". We then waited for a call. Monday noon arrived, still no call. My Wife calls the number again, and the guy says he will send them an email (from Texas). About an hour later a local woman calls and says a guy will be there tomorrow (Tues.) Wait all day Tuesday and get a call about 2:30 from the Driver saying he had one stop and then would be out. He shows up at 5PM, looks at the spot (that my Grandson's had already partially dug) and groaned. He says he doesn't have time today to get it done. I say, OK then when, He says he had to go north in the AM so he would be here mid day. Two PM Wednesday rolls around, I call the drivers number, he is astonished that the company has not sent someone else out to dig. About ten minutes later a guy shows up, looks at the spot (half dug) and groans. I call the driver to tell him the other guy got here and he asks to talk to the digger guy. I hear them talking and the Digger is telling the other guy he started at 5AM and that he had a bad shoulder and probably couldn't get much done. He hangs up the phone and hands it to me. I Looked at him and said "so, you have a bad shoulder?" to which he replied "yes". I then told him that I was not going to pay someone with a bad shoulder to dig at $100per hour and to have a nice evening. We called the office and cancelled. Called A-1 Septic, the guy told us the drivers name and that they would be out between 10 and 12 on Friday. I will make a yelp comment after they come. Just run from Atlas (Liquid Enviro).
