In the end, they squeezed me in around 10am, which was perfect! The crew showed up right on time, were professional, friendly, and got the job done efficiently and cleanly. No mess, quick pump and inspection, and they left everything spotless in my backyard (even with all the plants and stuff around the access point). He told me he messed up and would be another couple hours. This was now becoming an all day appointment for my client so I asked for a small discount for her inconvenience. He declined any discount at all claiming he doesn't make money on these jobs. I would have been happy with $50 off the $700 job but he declined to do anything to make up for his mistake. I understand that mistakes happen but it would be nice of him to offer some concession to show he values his customer's time. Definitely a poor experience for me.
