I get manicures and pedicures every 2-3 weeks. First off, when getting my pedicure, twice I let her know she was hurting me and cutting into my foot. Today my left toe is really hurting due to her cutting into my toe. Just praying I don't get an infection now. Then, the gal who did my jell nails, soaked them in water for less then 5 minutes and ripped off my existing jell...clearly damaging my nails. They were so rough when she was done. EVERY other manicure I have had, they use polish remover and soak for 5+ minutes and carefully scrap off the polish as to not damage my nails. Obviously to save time and product, they just rip it off. I already have thin nails and I am sure now they will break way more often with the damaging way she moved jell. I have been to a lot of nail places and I truly loved this one! Super clean and great decorations. We called ahead before going but people came in without calling ahead and were seen right away. They had great prices and were in a great location. They have parking right outside and it's a big lot so there is plenty of space. There are SO many color options!!! Seriously any color you can imagine- they have! It was our first time doing the dip power nails and we LOVED it! They have basic manicure, gels, acrylic, dip power, and they do waxing! They have really comfortable chairs where you get a pedicure and they have a more private pedicure section that is nice to be in if you're with just your friends. The staff were SO nice! Really friendly and helpful, they were great at making sure it was just what we wanted and spent some extra time making it feel special. SEVERAL ISSUES TO BE AWARE OF: First; I was a faithful customer (for about 8 months) for acrylic nails and pedicures. My bf would usually join me for the pedicures. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, making excuses for their HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I really tried to like this place. their location was convenient and priced well below most salons. One visit would be wonderful, friendly, exactly what I wanted then the next time I would be treated very poorly. Being told "yea, I'll just do this bc it's easier and quicker" Wtf? Who's paying who for the service? The "this" was using one solid color for all my nails instead of the 3 different colors I picked and a simple design on two nails (it was a small heart). If I wanted to settle for less than what I want, I would've done them myself lol. Why pay someone else to do them wrong? Second; the last 3 fills I got were crap. They were beautiful looking BUT would not stay on! I've been getting acrylic nails,consistently, for the past 15 years. I have NEVER experienced the entire acrylic just falling off my nails. They were not breaking, they were falling off. I was tearing a paper towel from the roll, a nail fell off! Picking up 2 bed pillows, another fell off! I am very careful with my nails, this was not my fault. I average fill-ins about every 3 weeks. I don't usually visit the salon between fills bc I had no need. Once this started happening I was told to "come back, I fix for you, for nothing, I don't charge" so I started going by there to get them repaired. I was averaging 5-6 nails having to be fixed within the 3 weeks. This is HALF of my nails. Sometimes the VERY NEXT DAY after my fill, a nail would fall off. Third; My last visit...my last visit to this salon was my second attempt for a repair and only 7 days after a fill. This would be the THIRD nail to be repaired this time. I went by the day before as well. I got there at 6:15pm. I was told a 15 minute wait (so 6:30pm). At 6:45pm I asked how much longer, the guy working there looked at the clock and then told me "another 15 minutes". This would then be 7pm. They close at 7pm. I said I'd come back later. I had decided to get through this fill (I had another 2¹/2 - 3 weeks before I needed another fill) and I wasn't going back. So, The next morning, I get there and I'm told I will now have to pay them $5 to repair my nail!!! So I pay them to do a job. Then I'm supposed to pay them to fix the shitty job they did? Umm nope. I questioned why I was paying for them to fix their mistake? Their response: "Fine. I fix for you, for free today but I cannot accept you as customer anymore." He was then very rude, jerking my hand toward him to fix it. Really? This is how you fix issues with clients? This is a few examples of my interactions with this salon. Never was there any sort of trial and error to see why my nails wouldn't stay. They never tried to remedy this issue. They got irritated with me stopping by so often for repairs so they charge ME for THEIR inconvenience? It was less than convenient for me too!!! read more

Decided to try this place out with the help of fellow yelpers. I did a walk in and of course Christie (whom I wanted) could take me. She did my manicure and of course did a phenomenal job. She's very friendly and listened to what I wanted (pics included). An older lady, I believe to be Christie's mom, did my pedicure. She did an "ok" job with the toes. It was really fast. Called in around 9:30 and they were able to get me, my husband and my toddler in for a pedicure at 10:30. They were super busy but still have us the best pedicures. After going through a couple f nail salons I finally found one that is actually worth the $$, friendly and relaxing. They did a god job on all of our pedicures & me and my daughters gel polish. They treated her like a queen and were so sweet to all of us. Currently 8 months pregnant and they didn't rush me, helped me out of my chair, etc. I also left with a rose for Mother's Day. I've had bad manicures and bad service before, but never like this. I had a gift card for this place...I went in for a gel color change. I picked a light gray/lavender color. It should've been an easy change. Remove the old color and put on the new color. The manicurist confirmed the color with me and the appointment began. Which is when I should have left. She wrapped my nails in cotton soaked acetone and foil. She didn't scruff the nail first and then she attempted to proceed with scraping off the polish about 3 minutes later. I did say, please let them soak longer and that it hurts. She acted like she didn't know what I was saying, very concerning. I put the foil wraps back on and told her to wait 5 minutes minimum. (Side note: I was one of two customers in the salon.) When the old polish was removed and my nails were clean, she used the roughest grit board she had and shredded 2 of my nails before I could stop her. I fixed my own shredded nails. (It was now a mission to see how badly a job she would attempt..as I was not technically paying.) She proceeded to prep and paint the gel on my nails. When I pulled my hand out of the light box, my nails were BRIGHT mint green, but they would fade to light gray. I asked her why they were green and not gray, she clearly stated that they would turn the gray color when the finishing coat went on my nails. Okay. Nope. Bitch painted my nails with "mood color change" polish. The color was ridiculously awful and her work was terrible. I paid with the gift card and she said that she could not take a tip from the gift card. I said that's a shame and went to a good salon to have my color and nails done correctly. read more

My friend and I were running errands in Olympia, but she wanted to get her nails done. Now I normally do my own nails at home with gel, but she insisted I go with and so we looked places up. This place showed good reviews so we called and they said they were available. We walked in they were visibly busy and they said it was a 30 minute wait, so we went across the street to Sally's and came back after 20 minutes. We were seated and I expressed how I never have had my nails done aside from gel, so I was going to try dip, my friend said get acrylic and the girl said no dip was better since it was my first time. I said okay. She started doing it and actually dipped my nails in the dip which should have been a red flag for me. I stayed quiet and let her proceed. She asked me what shape I wanted and I said coffin, but my natural nails are more squared. He did my nails then filed and I thought she was going to fix them up at a later point, since she seemed to be rushing, and she did not fix them up. When she was done I was not happy and my friend told her for me that I was not happy as some parts were missing coverage and my nails were filed ugly and the shape and sizes are all different. Normally I don't write bad reviews I take my loss and move on, how ever I felt inclined to leave a review because I went to work and people were like you did a good job on your nails how long did it take you to do them? And I said. I didn't do them myself, I got them done and everyone laughing asking if I paid made me feel like I couldn't just let this happen to someone else. I went to go get a simple pedicure. The whole thing lasted maybe 15 minutes. It felt very rushed and it was done very poorly, the lady just rushed through the routine. And at the very end when she was actually painting my nails, she did one thin layer and then top coat and just left me not saying she was finished. Not knowing she would potentially do another coat or anything, I sat there for a good 10 minutes without anyone saying anything. She saw me out of the corner of her eye later and I had to ask her if I was actually done or not. Looking at the job, i could've done a muuuch better job at home. There were some calluses that I wanted to removed (it's on their list of services on the pedicure "level" I chose) but I had to ask her for it and even then she did a poor job. Beyond terrible experience on their eyelash extension service. I called for an appointment and came in 5 mins. in advance but the lady didn't start till past 15 minutes of my schedule. She let me sign a waiver stating whatever irritation or reception happens to the eye, they will not be liable. While the lady was doing my extension, she didn't use gloves and stood up more than five times. I can hear her assisting other clients and cashing out. She will comeback to me at once without washing her hands. She's also on her AirPods talking with someone the whole time while working on my eyes which is very annoying. I feel like the whole process was very unhygienic and that validated my thought because the next day, I woke up with a bloodshot eye. First time here. I called in advance and asked when the next available appointment was today the lady over the phone said whenever is good for you. I said, OK, but I want to know when a slot is open so I can come in get my nails done and go. The lady said, you come in and I be ready for you Exact words. I said ok, how about 15 minutes? She said, yes ok. I be ready see you in 15 minutes. Ok bye. I get to the salon and I tell them I had called to have a basic manicure. Another gal said ok have a seat. I looked around saw 3 workers and 3 clients in what appears to be in the middle of a nail treatment. I was agrivated because I had called and asked. So I waited for 10, maybe 12 minutes and when I hadn't been attended to I left. Do not tell your customers you will be ready and make them wait. Stop it! We have lives outside of the nail shop too! I'm not a fan of being pressured into a service I don't want before I even sit down. I'm not a fan of being burned by scalding hot water while getting a pedicure. I'm not a fan of being stabbed by cuticle scissors repeatedly. I'm not a fan of reminding my nail person to file the nails on my other hand too. I'm not a fan of checking for dryness by rubbing a towel over my nails so my entire left hand needs to be repainted. This place managed to do all of those things in one visit.
