I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated at Prime Nail Spa. I had a confirmed appointment with Ms. Kim at 6:00 p.m. and signed in at 5:56 p.m. When I arrived, she had another customer in her chair and directed me to check Facebook Messenger. I then saw that she had sent me a message at 5:19 p.m. asking me to come back the following day because she was "very busy." I did not see the message before arriving because not everyone constantly checks social media or has Messenger notifications turned on. This was especially upsetting because I had stopped by the salon the previous evening while Ms. Kim was sitting without a customer. She told me she had a 5:00 p.m. appointment and specifically instructed me to return today at 6:00 p.m. When I asked why she was canceling my appointment after telling me to come at that time, she repeatedly said that she was very busy and told me to return tomorrow. At that point, I explained that I needed my nails shortened because they were becoming too long and could put me out of compliance while wearing my military uniform. Instead of acknowledging my concern or apologizing, she waved her hand at me as if she were dismissing me from the salon. After briefly stepping outside, I returned and waited. Ms. Kim finished with her customer around 6:16 p.m. but then invited another person to sit at her station. When I asked whether that person had arrived before or after me, she only responded, "I messaged you." I explained that I had been a loyal customer since approximately July 2024 and asked why she had canceled my appointment to take other customers. She completely ignored me while I was standing directly in front of her speaking. I understand that salons can become busy and schedules sometimes change. However, sending a Facebook Messenger message only 41 minutes before my appointment was not an appropriate way to cancel, especially without confirming that I had received it. More importantly, I should not have been told that my scheduled appointment was canceled because she was "very busy," only to watch her take another customer after finishing the person in her chair. Waving me away and then ignoring me when I tried to address the situation was disrespectful and unprofessional. After being a loyal customer for more than two years, I did not deserve to be treated this way. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. read more

I came in for a mani/pedi and Lee took care of me for both services. I was a first-time customer and will be coming here from now on. The best nail service I've had in 30+ years. From the warm, kind welcome by the gentleman working here to being handed a beverage menu to choose from a big variety for free (soda, juice, water and even champagne) to then being shown a book of nails to choose polish, I was treated with kindness, hospitality and respect. I got gel for both nails and asked for them to be cut short and rounded, which they did. There was extra care taken with my legs as I'm disabled and sticking my feet up on the stand hurts if I can even do it at all. They adjusted and didn't make a face or comment about it besides it not being a big deal. The massage given for both the pedicure and the manicure was amazing. I paid for a paraffin wrap for my hands so the total was $100 for both plus tip. I think that's a great deal. There was a bit of misunderstanding due to Lee and an intern having English as a second language, but it was no big deal. I was giving Lee a compliment on her massage and she thought I was asking to change the nail color. Another gal working there thought a random man who came in an hour after me was somehow with me, and he was a total stranger so I don't know where that idea came from. Their website has the ability to book appointments online. They have a lot of services to choose from. When you come in, you can check-in on the tablet. They also take walk-ins. read more

This was the most poorly run salon I've ever been to. I booked full sets with dip powder for both myself and my mom. I told the tech I wanted them short because I have an infant, but she took that to mean no extensions at all and just dipped my natural nails. When I questioned it, she admitted the mistake, had to soak them off, and redo them. I was there over 3.5 hours and still left with mediocre nails--and paid $120 for it. The pedicure was just as bad. I asked for a simple one--just nail care and dead skin removal. The man barely touched my feet, didn't remove the dead skin, and left lint stuck in the sides of my toes. Poor communication, unprofessional service, and absolutely not worth the time or money. I won't be back. read more

Prep work was fine. Acrylic work was pretty bad, I needed an extension on a toe I broke and the acrylic went over my entire nail and onto my skin so right after I went to another salon to get it fixed because it started to burn. I regret not taking a photo. I came into the salon with my nails the exact length and shape I wanted and I left with them way shorter and mismatched. My finger nails are ok. I refilled them myself in the chair but the French tip is not great and I think there wasn't clear coat put on one finger. My nails feel thin and I know when the polish comes off it will be like paper. Just an experience that reminded me why I do my nails at home instead of paying $92 and an additional $15 for another place to fix it. read more

I'm visiting the Olympia area from out of town and requested a same day appointment via Yelp. I received a quick reponse and got the time that worked best for me. Everything was absolutely perfect. We set up two pedicures for the same time using the online reservation system before they opened on a busy summer Saturday. The confirmation was quick, and the pedicures were great. Staff is professional and not judgmental They bring you the color choices after you are seated, so you don't have to make a quick decision at the polish rack. I would give them 8 or 10 stars if I could, our day together was wonderful.. read more

Very friendly, they accommodated us same day at the time we asked for. They gave a quote via message on Yelp and stuck with it. Nice, calm, clean. Free drinks with every service which is nice. Getting my nails done after pay day is becoming a new favorite thing to do. Starting in May 2023 I have now been to three different locations and I will be returning to Prime Nails. They are very kind, and the prices are very fair. They didn't rush through and made sure me and my companions were happy every step of the way. If I'm paying $50-60 bucks for something that I have to look at for several weeks I want it to be satisfactory and at Prime nails I believe you will get that. My daughter got her first set of acrylic nails today and she seemed to enjoy the experience as well read more

I requested a pedicure with hot stone and gel french tip, and was able to make the reservation through yelp! great place to sit upstairs on the deck and get great food and drinks and enjoy the view. Food quality was great just a bit pricey.

I appreciate that they told me they couldn't do a design with my current nails but even with the design they did do they were uneven and a little lumpy. This was also my first pedicure ever. I left with dead skin still on my feet which i don't think is okay especially when I paid 42$. Will not be coming back. Nails and pedicure were $103. Way too many issues for this price. I requested a refund for only my nails and they refused. They only wanted me to go back in and fix them. But why am I going to go back to a place that can't even get gel right? read more
