From start to finish, my experience with mini Mac was quick, easy, affordable and personable! Everyone was so nice!

I do not recommend this place to anybody I have been told two times site manager will call me have not received any call they are impossible to work with. Nobody seems like they want to get to the root of the problem it's always some type of an excuse. Modbox Storage Beware of signing up with using the storage units with Modbox They are the worst They do not handle things correctly You will have troubles getting set up and moving in and getting everything straightened out And this is mostly due to the Mint Hill area But they will try to overcharge you for insurance They will not handle the insurance documents correctly The units themselves are not that good Their issues with the door And they don't give a damn that their area is under construction that their door is mud or water running and cuddling up against the unit units This is a trashy place. I would proceed with caution when using this facility. They don't care about you the renter that is for sure read more

Received the box and post on a Sunday and planning to install it as per instructions this week. The post is made to go in concrete so going to allow to cure first before mounting the box. The box itself looks beautiful and match my 1955 built Custom Ranch. I am excited to see it done! read more

Since renting, the security gate is now inoperable. Through their customer service number, was informed they were ordering a part to fix. Six months later gate is still inoperable and they raised the rates by 20%. Calling customer service again and sent multiple emails that all went unreturned. In addition to an inoperable gate and higher rate, there are multiple areas in gravel lot that needs to be filled and lighting is poor. Mgmt needs to fix gate, install new gate, higher security or reduce rates. read more

Warning to all renters. This is a horrible place to place your stuff. There is no one manning this site. The gate breaks regularly and is left open for weeks. The is NO security at this site. NO Cameras or anything. Units are broken into regularly and Modbox doesn't even care. Their lease agreement releases them of all liability and will tell you to put it on your home owners policy. You need a SUV just to get thru the roads of this place. Huge potholes and mud that just will swallow up a car. The Mint Hill police said they come to this location regularly due to the storage lockers being broken into regularly. Don't make my mistake. Find a place that you can store your stuff and has security. That way when you want your stuff it will still be there. Never got a response from Modbox after police report and reporting to there manager. Just another company that takes your money and doesn't care read more

This new owner is horrible. Customer service is terrible. They could care less if anything gets fixed. The tone in their voice tells all I need to know. I've had a unit here for years. The new owners took over, raised rates and took away benefits (gate has been broken for at LEAST a month and no dumpster). Sooo...why am I paying more for less? You've done NOTHING to improve this facility. I found another place closer to me, cheaper and with a SECURED gate. I'll be leaving as soon as I can arrange it. read more

The new owner SUCKS the gate has been open 24/7 including the back gate, cameras are scarce and my mothers storage unit was broken into and ROBBED and they left their drug needle IN THE LOCKER! The unit didn't contact us and had no idea, it was the police after the caught the guy. The owner is doing nothing to help us either, we weren't the only unit robbed either. The thief added their own lock and WE had to pay to get it removed. read more

The new ownership is PATHETIC! The front gate has been broken in the open position for 3 weeks now, they won't fix anything, some of the potholes in the driveways could swallow a small car and they've raised the rates twice in as many months! read more

I've first rented from Minimac more than 14 years ago. They are always very friendly, have a great location with easy access to I-485, and offer very competitive pricing on a variety of sized units. Great family owned business to work with! read more
