I was helped so much on the 7112 Albemarle Rd sight by Susan today. She helped me get closer to the office and a better site for my movers to get into . I am a Sr. citizen so it is hard to navigate everything but she helped me in every way, from opening the gates, to picking the best location to change to. I haven't dealt with any customer service issues yet. What I can say is that after almost three years using two units, all my belongings are in perfect shape. Nothing was lost or damaged during this time. As any other customer, I believe that increasing prices every 4 months is not ideal so if you're planning on taking your belongings here take that into account; we started at $84 in January 21, and by December 2022 we were paying $125. read more

Stored my vehicle there for several months while I was out of the country. Even with their app, they don't let you access the property 24/7, so if your plane comes in late, you're going to have to risk injury, hop the fence and sleep in your car until the app lets you get out. Between 10 PM and 6 AM you have ZERO access to your stuff. Not acceptable in this day and age. No use having a part time app on your phone. read more

Today Saturday August 5th I came into the public storage on Albemarle road. And had the greatest experience of my life there the lady there was so sweet and so kind and so helpful she told me that she hate to see me go but it was okay just come back and see her again and I need her I've been in that storage unit for over 10 years and I was always treated rudely but now having this lady there I felt better thank you public storage for having somebody that cares about the clients who greeted you with a smile she made my day even though it was hot inside haha. But if I did come back I will hope that she still be there she was excellent I even swept the floor up for her so she didn't have to sweep and clean that storage bin out but I explained to her I didn't have a dustpan to get the trash up and I just let her know that I did sweep it out and cleaned it out thank you ma'am you made this a great experience to leave on read more

I had a great experience at this location. The manager was on point and very personable! I will rent from this location in the future.

Bad customer service. Rented unit, Trey never told me I needed a lock on the unit so i came back, later on, that night with a truck full of stuff only to find the public storage lock on the unit. Conveniently the office was closed for the day. The next day the office manager called and instead of apologizing they told me since I cut their lock off the unit I would be charged for the lock. Also, the property security lights are out on over half the property. I complained to the office manager 3 weeks ago and still NO LIGHTS at night, definitely a security issue. Additionally, the property has a roach problem. Feeling ripped off paying 150+ bucks a month!! read more

Needed a quick spot to store my personal belongings and found the 7112 Albemarle rd location. TRE is the truth. Tre gave me a tour, explained everything in Lyman terms and had me on my way in 20 min. Time is money and I'm glad some people do know that. read more

I've had my things in storage for over a year. In a climate control unit(5x10). Since i've had this unit the price has changed without any notice & for the third time(as of now)!!! My fee was origanally suppose to been $58(insurance included). A month later my price went up to $68 without any notice. I questioned it but recieved a response which didn't make any since(the cost of living). But i continued to pay it up until now. It jumped from $68(started @ $58) to $79/mo for a 5x10 but their website still clearly says $58 if I'm not mistaking. After a little over a year of being back & forth out of town, my things have major mold on them(my things are not cheap, if they were, they would of been set & put away in someones garage). I am not a happy camper with this location's & my things had been in a public storage before. My worst experiance ever & actions will be made. read more

Please Beware! They will not tell you that you have to show up with a lock just to purchase the unit, even if you don't plan to move into until later that day (like after you get a truck). If you don't show up with a lock, they charge you $24 and force you to purchase theirs or you can't sign the contract. Also, the force you to get insurance (the cheapest is $11), but they don't tell you if you have renter's insurance you don't need theirs and you cancel their insurance after 30 days. Vida and the area manager was rude! Vida told me to put my lock on the unit and she would remove their lock from the unit after she finished taking care of one other customer. We returned with a truck full of belongings, but could not access our unit because Vida never removed their lock. So we had two locks on the unit (mine and theirs). We had to rent the Uhaul truck for another day because we had nowhere to keep our belongings. The next day, we showed up and explained to her how she did not remove the lock and she was very rude. She then referred me to her area manager. He answered the phone once and told us he would call us back, but never did. He avoided all of our calls after that and they refused to reimburse us for a mistake that was very costly to us. Stay away!!! read more
