I never heard of this place until I saw it pop-up on TooGoodToGo. Seems like a lot less pizza will go to waste now. I dig this place. Price is reasonable for what you get but Rize still gives you a better deal. I like artsy pizza over traditional pizza any day. The mushroom was good but the ingredients felt slightly "there" if I want to try to be a really picky food critic. The honey sriracha chicken which is the other one I think I had, blended super well with this crust texture. The lack of crust brings this flavor out more. Rize is still my fave in the area. Ravenisi in Glen Mills is barely in second with Crust's Detroit in third for me. Maybe this would hit fourth- I don't know. So many places. There are places closer to me I still haven't tried yet (Lariele, Pappou's, Hunnypie). It's too many for me lol.

Sauce on pizza was warm at best. I thought there wasn't any cheese but I guess it was on bottom. Taste was fine. Topping seems light. All in all it was just ok. Wings were also more warm than hot. Flavor was good. Admittedly we ordered them well done but they seemed old and were tough. Again just ok. Maybe it was us, maybe it was on them but probably won't go back.

Out of the 3-4 times we've ordered from Carla's, this was the least favorable. We usually order the…read moreInferno pizza (my girlfriend rates this a 10/10), and have went back 2-3 times specifically for that. The last time we ordered outside our usual would be a cheesesteak (I enjoyed it, but my gf not so much as she says it's not a "real Philly cheesesteak") and tonight we got "The Joey D" -- we are rating this 5.5/10, for 2 main reasons. 1. It was extremely overpriced for the quality 2. I didn't think the taste compared to the inferno (I personally wasn't too crazy about the sauce, but my gf loved the sauce and we BOTH agree that the crust is what keeps this pie afloat). Also, the chicken has room for improvement. Not bad, but not great. All in all, we WILL be returning customers, just not for the Joey D. Everybody is different, you might love it, but we weren't the biggest fans tonight. Still good food tho. And the guy who's usually at the register is very nice and always remembers my gf's name by the order.

We sat outside since the weather was nice and ordered the strawberry burrata salad, meatballs, and lamb puttanesca pizza. The strawberry burrata salad was very good in terms of flavor. Very balanced but would've liked to see more strawberries and burrata, as it was mostly arugula. Meatballs were good, lamb puttanesca was just okay. We went with it because our server recommended it, with added mozzarella on top. The pizza was very wet, especially if we didn't add cheese. The tomato base was too tangy and the toppings were sliding off the pizza since there really wasn't anything holding it together. Overall we didn't enjoy the pizza too much, but it could've just been the one we ordered.

This is a small spot in a strip mall and beside a classic sports bar "Screwballs". Walking in the first thing I loved was the amount of picture, trophies and memorabilia on the walls. Lots of interaction with community by sponsoring school sponsored events and local sport teams! Always a great thing! We ordered a large cheese pizza (I was hoping for a sicilian pizza but they told me they don't make those any more??) and an order of mozzarella sticks with 3 drinks. We were seated in a booth and ready to go! Food came rather quickly and it was great! Mozzarella sticks were hot, great size and tasty. The pizza was good....not incredible....but good.
