I was in Phoenixville for work and looking for a highly rated place for lunch. I found Philly Cheesesteaks on Yelp. PC was about 10 minutes from my appointment so I thought I'd give them a try. They are a small pizza place from the outside, so you might think, is this really the place? YES IT IS. I got a cheesesteak with onions and cooper sharp and a side of wiz fries. Awesome, awesome, awesome AND they have birch beer! The steak was HUGE on a fresh Italian roll with a large plate of wiz fries. Portions were large and I ended up taking 1/2 the steak home. The owner is incredibly friendly and we had a great conversation about Italy and travel while I enjoyed my lunch. I can't wait to go back! read more

Looking for the best Philly? Check out this family owned spot serving up incredible cheesesteaks, pizzas, hoagies, sides and more! Highly recommend the Pizza Fries & Eagles Cheesesteak loaded with mushrooms, grilled onions, peppers and Cooper sharp cheese! Plenty of parking in the front and a lot behind the shop! I wish it wasn't raining when we visited since the patio was so cute! Phenomenal service and recommendations! We will absolutely be back! read more

Came in town for a tournament, looked for a place that was local and small, and this place fit that spot! The owner was super helpful and friendly to help get exactly what we wanted. The Buffalo chicken was perfect! I am not a blue cheese fan so added ranch instead. The amount of meat and the ratio of ranch to Buffalo sauce was perfect. The bread was super soft and so fresh! The Philly cheesesteak with the peppers was perfection. The sandwiches were both huge and so filling. Very glad we found this spot and hoping to get back before we leave. read more

Being from out of town, I'll try any cheesesteak and my family suggested this place. I had the version on garlic bread and I loved it. That's all I can say. Nice people. Nice food. Although that traffic light leaving the parking lot is real sketchy. read more

Terrific place for the money and location! If you find yourself in the area and crave a good ol' fashioned cheesesteak, then Philly Cheesesteaks will hit the spot. Very friendly service. The person working the counter said she was the owner's daughter. She told us about how she had gone on a cross country road trip, trying to hit as many states as possible. They have license tags from various states hanging up. It was a cool environment and super welcoming. My sister and brother in law were visiting from Kentucky, and she just made them feel right at home! The onion rings might be the best onion rings I've ever had. I'd go out of my way to get those onion rings again. Outstanding. read more

Philly Cheesesteak (4/5): Ordered this with cooper sharp cheese, hot peppers, and fried onions (which were actually grilled onions). The beef was pretty simple and tasted great. I liked that the bread was soft, but didn't get wet and mushy at all. The cheese was a little lacking in flavor, but there also might just not have been enough cheese (the whole thing was a little on the dry side). I REALLY liked the onions (next time I'd order with extra onions). The hot peppers were good, but I think I would've preferred no peppers to bring out the other flavors more. Cajun Fries (4/5): Solid fries with a decently crispy outside and soft inside. The Cajun seasoning was mediocre (and it looked like it was just sprinkled on at the end) so I'd just get regular fries next time. *Very friendly staff RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this) read more

Went looking for a cheesesteak. I found Philly Cheesesteaks in Berwyn and decided to give them a shot. I did miss it on the drive by the first time so had to make the block to get back. I ordered their Eagle Steak and a fry. The food was phenomenal. The cheesesteak was cooked perfectly and was giant. The fries were good but since I was more interested in trying to finish the sandwich I must admit they were cold when I got to them. Katie took my order and was extremely pleasant to chat with while waiting on my order. I will definitely be back on my next trip and will eat onsite so nothing has the chance to cool down. There is a nice patio seating area in addition to the tables inside. read more

I was visiting Philly & really wanted a cheesesteak but the well known spots were an hour drive. I found this place & it had great reviews & was only a 7 min drive. I am so glad I went and got it because it was the best cheesesteak I've EVER had! Last time I visited I had a cheesesteak from one of the two well known places in Philly, & this one was 10 times better! Flavorful, cheesy, the meat was fresh & well seasoned & the bread was absolute perfection! The sandwich was huge, I was only able to eat half. The service was great also, quick and friendly. Overall 10/10, I can't wait to go back and have another! read more

We came here for the Cheesesteaks and wing and left with the most amazing pizza. Very fresh. The crust was perfect. Authentic Philly cheesesteaks (I got the chicken cheesesteak). Fresh roll, good, crispy and flavorful fries, and fresh chicken. Very, very good. Woman at the counter was friendly and recommended the chicken cheesesteak. I'm not from the area so I'm glad I found this place. read more

Great pizza ! Didn't know what to expect and was even a bit wary about trying it. After all it's a sandwich place that also makes pizza, right? Happy to say it , plain cheese with mushroom, was delicious! Who would have thought it! I haven't had pizza this good since south Philly! Perfect sauce and cheese and the crust was also up there. I've been living in this area for 38 years and I haven't had pizza this good and I've tried all of the local establishments. Highly recommend the pizza since I haven't tried the sandwiches yet. read more

My family and I just tried a classic cheesesteak with fried onions and a chicken cheese steak....and they were FANTASTIC! Even though Philly Cheesesteaks is only 2 minutes down the street from our house, for some reason we'd never once eaten there since we moved into the neighborhood years ago. Until...last week. And my first thought was, why didn't we come here sooner?!? I had the cheesesteak with ribeye steak, melted Cooper sharp cheese, fried onions, and fried peppers, and my wife went with the chicken cheesesteak. I was impressed with the extremely generous portions - I was stuffed after eating just half of it and ended up taking the other half home. The steaks were delicious, and the rolls were fresh and soft. Also, our 11 year old son - a VERY picky eater (especially when it comes to pizza) - gave an enthusiastic two thumbs up to the two slices of his thin crust pizza. Plenty of delicious dessert selections, too, including New York cheesecake, Tiramisu cake, and chocolate cake. Service was fantastic, the atmosphere was welcoming and bright, and we had no trouble finding a parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. This will definitely be our family's new go-to spot for cheesesteaks and pizza. read more

I used to hate Philly cheesesteaks, but that was before I tried this place. Has the best Philly Cheesesteaks in all of Philly. I came all the way from Texas just to eat one of their world famous Philly Cheesesteaks. Ate here again on Thursday and ordered the small Italian Stromboli. It was outstanding. Philly Cheesesteaks changed my whole mood. I had a cheesesteak from another place that was so bad I literally got in my car and drove straight over. Philly Cheesesteaks - Cheesesteak and FRENCH FRIES - Cheesesteaks Near Me - Berwyn, Pennsylvania

Gluten-free cheesesteaks FTW! We ordered out from them one evening via DoorDash, and they certainly delivered (sorry for the dad joke)! One order was with mushrooms, and the other was their pepper steak (mine). They had a nice blend of peppers, hot and not, and it tasted great with the melted American cheese and ribeye steak. They could have maybe put in some more cheese, but overall, it was a satisfying cheesesteak. Love that they offer gluten-free options using Udi's buns! read more

Wow! The service from Sarah was great! The "steaks" were filling and perfectly made. They even had outdoor seating, which perfectly complemented a glorious summer day in a beautiful town in the Philly 'burbs. If you're ever close to Berwyn, get the Eagle Steak with American cheese, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. For my full experience, buy a birch beer, and get a side of banana peppers. If you must, get a side of Cheese Whiz (if you must... I can't enjoy that orange sauce when provolone or other cheeses are available). Note-- this little spot was on my way home, but I will come back here to get a good "Philly" whenever I'm close. read more

I was in town for work when a group of us stumbled upon this place through a Yelp search. The place itself is small with not much seating, so if it's peak lunch time you may have to take it to go. First off, the ordering process. We walked in with about 10 of us all from out of town, not knowing much about what's good. The young boys behind the counter were clearly just teenagers working a summer job. So incredibly sweet! They really worked with us and made suggestions on what to get, and not once seemed annoyed that we were taking forever. Now, the food...holy cow. Amazing! Everyone in the group loved their food. The wait for the food was very short considering we just hit them with 10 cheesesteaks. I opted for the pizza cheesesteak (I know, I'll try the traditional cheesesteak eventually.) and it was so good. I'll be back for sure! read more

Once you get past the name, this is a very well made cheesesteak. The grill person knows what they are doing. Thicker slices of meat so you can really taste it. The cheesesteaks here are okay for the suburbs. Good portion size and okay taste! Fulfills the craving when you don't want to travel to the city. The wings here are terrible. They very dry and barely have any flavor to them. Mostly dry rubs. The buffalo did have some sauce, but barely any. read more
