    Cheesesteak extra meat raw onions

Decided to try this place based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. It's an old looking building. There's a small area with some booths to the left of the entrance. You order at the cashier in the grocery store section and then wait while they cook it up. Hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered a cheesesteak with grilled onions and sweet peppers. It was very cheesy. My husband ordered a cheesesteak with raw onions and extra meat. (I posted an updated menu). Bread was soft and chewy. Worth checking out.

The big irony is that I liked it. It was very overpriced at $9.50. You can see in the picture that it needs a whole lot more meat. The ironic twist is the lack of meat made it very cheesy. I like fried onions, lots of fried onions. I don't know, when you can get a picture with a giant Oreo is it a bad day? It had a nice little taste, chewy roll, cheesy, all things I like. The $9 price tag is way out of line. I took it to Levante Brewing. Good overall experience.

This is probably my favorite Deli place in the area. It is a family owned business operated by the same family for 35 years. The service is prompt and the food is appetizing and freshly prepared . I ordered a cheesesteak with mushrooms and peppers, it was hot off the grill and the rolls are delivered to the store freshly baked every morning . It was delicious and I washed it down with a blood orange Diet Coke . I will visit this place again in the future .

3.5 STARS. Went with my husband and three kids tonight. Pretty run-down little store greets you. You order in the store front and then you can sit in the food area if you wish. There are six booths to eat in but NO air conditioning and no shades on the windows, so the dining area is pretty uncomfortable in the Summer (when we went). The eating area does not appear to be very clean. Not filthy, but could have really used a good scrub down. We got cheese steaks and my husband got a gyro combo. The cheese steaks were very good. Good size. Good price. Terribly under seasoned, but I added my own S&P and was good to go. The gyro was terrible. Three small slices of sad, light grey, meat with no browning. Awful toppings. Odd tzatziki sauce that was more like salad dressing. DONT ORDER THE GYRO. The fries were hot and crisp. No complaints. If you stick to the hot sandwiches and fries and get your food to-go this is a great little place for a good cheesesteak with very reasonable prices.

This is a mom and pop store that's been around for over 34 years! Both owners are friendly, down to earth and welcoming. You can really sense how proud they are to have owned their own business for so long. I had a large cheesesteak and an order of fries. The cheesesteak was delicious and very filling. So filling that I had to take the fries with me. I don't live in their area but I'll definitely visit when I get the chance.

A friend tipped me off just two days ago about how he had found an EPIC Philly Cheesesteak out in…read morethe suburbs (without driving to Downtown Philly to Angelo's or Uncle Gus'!) Right near the Exton Mall, I swung by yesterday after shopping at Boscov's for Christmas presents and opted for a slice of the ir Pizza for a light lunch. Yes, I saw several of their cheesesteaks carried by to other customers but tasting one will be on my next trip, but the thick , generous portion of rib eye steak, Coooer cheese, spilling out of a seeded roll for an astounding $15 looks like an incredible deal. But I digress- this family- run restaurant knows how to make astonishingly great pizza, and can do any of their offerings on GLUTEN-FREE crust. They use Imported Italian flours and cook up their crusts crispy, well done, and delicious that beats the mouth-feel of anything I have had in the area. The meats are of superior quality and flavor, and everything is available by the slice and displayed in a case of fresh slices in so great a variety you will have difficulty choosing just one! The slice named "The Charlie" called out to me, totally on visual appeal, and I learned secondarily that it sported classic pizza sauce, creamy Mozerella, pepperoni, finished with pecorino Romano, fresh Basil, and hot honey- It knocked my socks off! Whether you are in the mood for an amazing pizza, or a cheesesteak, you've gotta try this place. It is clean, well staffed, with a great vibe! Find it a coupla blocks from the mall, on Lancaster Ave across the street from the Sherwin Williams paint store.

Ordered them both a standard cheesesteak wit. Unfortunately, mine had a nasty chunk of gristle, but was otherwise an 8.5. My companion was very happy with her usual chicken cheesesteak... Waiting for their feedback: don't let me down Gentili's. The feedback: the chef, very picky Italian chef, was blown away (his benchmark was Geno's, so). The Jersey Mike's fans were likewise impressed admitting Jersey Mike's is a bad facsimile... My mission to conquer mediocre and bad cheesesteaks, and uninformed/misinformed opinions, continues...

We definitely over-ordered but told plenty home for leftovers. For appetizers we ordered the pork belly bao buns and the Thai salad with shrimp. These are more entree size so be forewarned. The bao buns came in a taco server and had three buns filled with plenty of pork and a spicy aioli. The Thai salad came with 5 nicely charred shrimp and a Napa salad. This ate a little dry-I would have appreciated a bit more dressing- but I can see where more dressing might have made this a bit soggy. We would definitely order these again For entrees, we tried the burger and the chicken pot pie. The burger was a double patty with cheese, pickled onion, and a mayo based sauce on a sesame bun. I have to say I was happy to see that they opted out of the usual sad lettuce and anemic tomato that is typical of early spring. I think it was lacking some salt as it was missing something but overall was ok and served with crispy shoestring fries. The pot pie was topped with some puffed pastry and had a nice velvety sauce with hints of tarragon. Very nice. My dining partner finished my burger and took most of the pot pie and the side salad that came with it home. Even though my dining partner couldn't finish his regular entree, he wanted dessert. After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. Clientele consists of workers from the local courthouse up to about 6 pm when we saw families starting to file in. Nice place, good food, good value.
